Hotel Grand Pacific - Victoria

We stayed in a suite with our son who is a year and half. The staff were friendly and the service was great. My one suggestion for improvement would be to update the suites/rooms. The furniture/decor is old and tired and does not appear to be very clean. Could use a coat of paint and some newer furnishings. Overall we had a great stay.

greaty stay good location to the downtown core.

Wonderful hotel and city. We had a beautiful harbor view room. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay at the Grand Pacific Hotel again!

Don't think twice about booking here. We were treated like royalty and our views of the waterfront and the Parliament building were fantastic!

Right on the inner harbor, close walk to all downton shopping. Staff was very helpful

The hotel was wonderful and staff cheerful and helpful although the space in the room was a bit tight. Last day one bag of purchased items went missing. Still has not been found. :-( Still trying to work out a replacement or reimbursement.

My partner and I came to Victoria for 3 nights during early April. Victoria is beautiful at this time of year, especially the Inner Harbour. Our hotel, the Grand Pacific Hotel, was conveniently located directly across from the Harbour and in close proximity to all the hot spots. We had a suite in the corner of the building facing both the harbor and the parliament building. Fantastic location right across from the ferry and close to everything. The hotel was really top-notch in every respect--service was amazing, rooms were fantastic. We were very impressed and wished we could have stayed longer!!

Exercise room does not open until 6:00 AM - this is the only downside. Good location, very nice room.

Hotel is right across the street from the ferry. The room was nice, but needs to upgrade to flat-screen TV. Internet was free which was nice, and the pool area was great except for so much chlorine my eyes stung. Beautiful, open lobby to welcome guests.

We booked the Hotel Grand Pacific for a long weekend stay in Victoria. The location is wonderful - right on the inner harbor and walking distance to all downtown amenities. The view from our room was wonderful, we enjoyed the ozonated pool tremendously. The pool room was large and well-lit with natural light. The pool itself was huge in comparison with […] the average hotel pool. The fitness facilites were also much superior to other hotels we've stayed in. We booked a king suite which was well laid out with comfortable beds and ample room for our family of four. The staff was friendly, efficient and competent from the bell desk and reception to housekeeping and room service. The only drawback is that the decor is dated and tired but we spent so little time in our room that it didn't matter - I just wouldn't choose this hotel for a romantic getaway. Room was nice, great bed, pillows a bit harsh, and the bathroom was a tad spartan, no soap dish for the shower, and the shower was a little plain, nothing special

I had to go to Victoria for medical tests. The hotel staff were great. They let me check in early, treated me normally even though I looked a little strange, and really helped make the trip work for me. I can hardly go back when I can really enjoy the hotel.

Great place but get ready to pay $25 for parking.... If you do not need to park during the day for long periods of time...Park behind hotel near entrance for parkade on street for free after 6.

Ok so the room (actually ours was a suite) was small and the carpet should have been changed a year ago, and old style tv's and the bed was not the most comfortable, in fact it felt sort of cheap, but I still liked my stay because your paying for a classy place and they do not miss a beat. You can get valet parking (makes you feel very important) and […] the staff was quick courteous and VERY professional. The lobby and elevator and hallways were glorious and lavish and really made the room almost seem unimportant. Oh I will also say i didnt hear a single sound from any other room so either they were totally empty or it has great sound proofing. Will I stay again? This was a really wonderful hotel, we've stayed in a few around Victoria's Inner Harbour and this one tops the cake. We were on 6th floor and the view of the harbour & Parliment Bldg was fabulous. Also we have a 5 yr old and so the pool area was definately a favorite by all - not only does it have a great (and clean) large lap pool & hot tub it also […] has a shallow kids pool. I booked this hotel by looking at a web page. I did not expect it to be so convenient to the Blackball ferry dock and to be so grand with a fine restaurant and lounge. We decided to upgrade to a view room which was great fun with a little balcony. We could see the water traffic, the city and the Empress. Great room - except the room that was booked for us had a terrible bed - no springs in it. The staff moved us to a new room - greater bed! Loved the Dog Bed, treats and baggies left for us as we have a pet. Loved that a hotel in our province allowed us to bring our dog. Leave the car at the dock. Everything is within walking distance and located right across the street from the ferry!

I have asked the concierge about th environmet and he was very helpful and all hints has been gorgeous

Had an ABSOLUTELY amazing stay!!! Wish it could have been longer. I was on a trip with my 6 yr old granddaughter and she loved the hotel as much as I did!! My only concern was that I thought there should be a continental breakfast available at no charge to the guests ( ie: muffins,danishes,juice and coffee) as nowadays most hotels do supply that :-) […] I will be back for a longer stay in the future :-) Keep up the amazing job of the Beautiful Hotel you have!!! Hotel was great. My wife went to check in while I was waiting in the car - front desk staff initially would only check me in - not my wife! Never had this before - ultimately they did let my wife check in. Otherwise, very nice hotel.

Close to the harbour, this hotel is a short walk from street entertainers and markets. The hotel itself is great for couples, girl-friends getaways, and families. I even saw the reception give a young boy a gift bag that included a rubber ducky. What a thoughtful touch. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Excellent location, definitely rates 4 stars for service, cleanliness and amenities. Residential side of the hotel is very quiet and when high up, gets a view of the ocean as well. This is our absolute favourite place to stay in Victoria.

Very nice accomadations. The view from 10th floor was spactacular. Missed having a second lounge chair to read in: had to let my spouse have first dibs on the only chair in room.

The restaurant was very nice- delicious dinner and good service. Only thing that could be improved is turning up the heat a bit more!

This is a perfectly located, very comfortable, well-serviced hotel. Despite some confusion concerning the nature of our reservation when we arrived, the desk clerk, Marie Michelle, was extremely helpful and gracious, thereby ensuring we had a wonderful stay.

The hotel was very clean and the room was very spacious and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
