The room in general was neat. Just the restroom kept on making noise, It does help when people is trying to sleep. The bathtub ran the water very slowly. It must be fixed so there will not be any more complaits.

Great hotel

It was a good experience for it being my first time :) but when i booked the hotel rooms i had asked for king size beds and for the rooms to be close to each other. I get there and the lady is kind of rude and tells me that they have no more king beds and the rooms in the same tour but far apart from eachother. That is the reason why i had booked them […] and paid for the so far in advance because i wanted the king size beds and the rooms close to eachother. But didnt get none of that. I guess it doesnt matter how far in advance you book them they just give you what they want. And dont take in to consideration what the request was... Devamı

nice place, in good shape for its age. great rates, attentive staff who were there for what we needed without delay, overall no problems. we checked in really early, the room they had held for us was open but wasnt the room we wanted (personal preference), the one we wanted wasnt ready yet so we were allowed to check in to the first one while they prepared […] the other, which was a huge benefit to us and they were happy to oblige even though they would have to reclean the first room. it is down the strip a ways but i would not hesitate to book here again. Well first impressions were horrible! The parking structure was FILTHY, the elevators were the worst I've honestly been in and we even had to help the door shut! The outside of the building looked so run down and needed a paint job, bad! Once inside the check in line was long, but went by in about fifteen minutes, not too bad. When we got to our room […] it looked nice, they could update the shower and toilet, but other than that it seemed nice. When we layed in bed later though, we noticed a dried up white body looking fluid on the brown comforter and what looked like gum that had been smeared over one of the pillows. I had a great time. Good environment. Employees were great. I will be back again.

I really dislike this hotel because I ordered a luxory room, but when I cheked in, someone gave me a regular room!!!

Don't eat at the buffet!!!!

This hotel was a great way to save on our trip to Vegas. It was just north on the strip, and is currently in the middle of renovations. We stayed in one of the newly upgraded rooms which as nicely designed and comfortable. The beds were comfy for the 3-4 hours of sleep we did get a night, and the room was quiet. We were charged an additional $11 per day fee for the use of the swimming pool and exercise room. When we told them we did not intend to use the places, we were told we had to pay any way. We had planned the price to be that was given by your firm on the computer. We were not pleased with this charge.

reviera is always our first choice... economical.. though little far from the center of the strip... No complain on the room and the service... it has food court with all kinds of fast food items.. including Indian food.. Casino is not bad... it pays ...

This stay was for a special occasion; Niece's 40th Birthday celebration. Although, it was not as fancy as it was years ago, it still had a subtle charm about it. It would have been nice to reside closer to the strip (hotel is about 4 blocks away from main strip.) But the bus was just outside the hotel across the streets in front of Mc Donalds. Although […] the buses are very crowded They were pleasant enough to get us to the strip and the "Fashion Shopping Center) which is quite nice. All and all the Riviera Hotel and Casino was reasonable enough and we still enjoyed the week stay there! Devamı

The hotel itself was pretty good. Alot of convenience places around for food and other items. The only draw back is a little bit too far from the main strip,but for the price is ok.

I found the riveria to be excellent for what I was after. It was quieter than most Vegas hotels but still had enough services to make for an entertaining experience. The staff was very helpful and good at their jobs. It was clean and comfortable. The riveria would be my first choice for another trip to Vegas

Service was very good. The room service lady was awesome. The room was fair (Older and stained). No coffee maker??? What's with that??? The hotel itself is in need of upgrade. This was our first trip to Vegas. The constant music in the lobby is extremely annoying,,,, especially in the morning when you have to hit the lobby to get a cup of coffee. Hard […] rock @ 7 AM??? Stayed during spring break weekend. When first arrived they put us in a room in the old tower. We wanted to upgrade but was told plus an added on resort fee it would be $200 more dollars. Upgrade really not worth it. When came back to hotel in am the keys wasnt working. Had to go back to fron desk and ask for more keys. then the key still didnt work. […] they had to have the maintenance man let us in, then had to have a loacksmith come and recharge the door battery. Big incovenience. On last day there my friend seen a bug in her bed which freaked her out. Not quite sure about the experience but rather have paid more money for any other hotel. Was surprised that I had an additional charge to my room after having to pay in full online. A "service" fee was required at the time of check in, a certain amount per day, which doesn't seem like a lot but it adds up. I would have liked a warning before hand. Over all though we'll definitely stay there again.

The hotel is pretty old and not very well maintained. Must have been a decent hotel at one time but what matters is, now. I would say, stay away if you have the money to go somewhere else better with a little bit more.

Everyrhing was ok until we noticed a huge bed bug in our bed.... It was an awful and nasty experinece.... They only moved us to another room but no one even apologize. This was totally rude. I also heard from the security that came to our room to make the report that this was not the only incident. I think the need to do something about this. Bad, bad […] service. Devamı

I had a wonderful stay no complaints, would book again.

Room was clean, bed was comfy, and its located on the strip (north end). The room was perfect for me and my gf, we did not spend much time at the hotel, as we were very close to everything. I typically don't write reviews, and I like to take time to point out the good ones just as much as the bad ones, but on this particular hotel I give 2 thumbs down. Yes it's on the strip but at the end and far from everything unless you're an avid walker. The cleanliness was bad and the hotel is horribly outdated, nothing has been updated. The internet […] didn't work unless we were in the hallway and the maintenance guy wouldn't listen. Our room wasn't stocked with hygiene items. They also charged up $11 a day for fees which included the pool that closed early and the internet which didn't work. I know it's a landmark hotel with history, but it belongs there too. Next time I'll pay more to have the convenience and quality customer service at one of the hotels in the middle of the strip. The good stuff...bed was comfy and the room had a mini fridge and safe. Hotel is nothing special by far, and the $11.00 nightly resort fee was ridiculous. Room was changed 3 times, requested smoking, was put 2 x into a non-smoking room. Requested to be put by 2 friends that were staying there.......nope, different sides of the hotel. wouldn't have been until the 3rd night that we got rooms one floor above or below them. […] The requests that we had made were small, and when not honored were very inconvenient to say the least. I mean we were booking 3 rooms, there for 5 nights, and could not even be on the same floor? Really! That part really peeved me and we were not compensated for all of our troubles! Grrr! although the room rate was good. there is an additional $11.00 per night added. I found my room very small. The only way to watch TV was in bed. It was very noisy with banging and street noise from trucks being loaded and backing up all night. The bathroom was so small you couldn't close the door with out your knees hitting. The vent in the bathroom […] was so dirty, I don't know how any air could have been filtered through it. The shower smelled of mildew. My toilet had to be repaired 2 times because it wouldn't stop running. The maid service was terrible. Making up my room was simply collecting the towels, emptying the trash and pulling up the bed covers with out making the bed or fixing the pillows. The facilities itself are old and dated. restaurants are closed for renovations and those that are open are poorly marked. The staff at the registration desk are friendly and helpful, but it takes forever to get through the line. They appear to be using calulators instead of computers. The lobby area is not inviting and there is nowhere to sit down. When I registered for the players club, I received no information. I was just handed a card. When staff are asked questions they don't seem to know what is going on and if you ask a second person, you get a different answer. We ate at the steak house, the waiter made us feel like we should feel privilaged to have him wait on us. He was sarcastic and sneared at us when we asked a question. On the other hand the rest of the waitstaff couldn't have been nicer or more efficient. He received his tip only with the hope it was shared with the others. The food was ok but not outstanding and expensive. The casino itself was not crowded, so there was lots of open machines at all price points. Would I stay there again? The only advantage is that it is close to the convention center. Maybe, in hopes that things improve. I might give it a second chance. Devamı

Don't like the trick that we have to pay another $11.- a day extra for the resort fee when we check in the hotel, we have no choice then! So, this hotel rate is not that reasonable rate after all!!

We knew the hotel was at the north end of the strip, but unless you take the shuttle ($7/day on-off), it is a very long walk to the main casinos. But this old, tired hotel has one major flaw--the shower. There was no way to adjust the temperature, and it went from ice cold to scalding in an instant, and then back again. Cheap. Far end of strip. House keeping didn't come every morning. One pool was open out of two. Not the best view.

our.room.was not vacuumed. paper & candy on the floor. looking in the heat vent was full of paper &dust.carpet needed shampoeing.mattress. was pretty one sided. very dissapointed .sorry.this was a buiness trip we take every year. we also took our employee to the buffet for 50.00.which is another story.room 409
