Very poor overall.Not a four star hotel. Everything expensive. No coffee making facilities in the room, jacuzzi bath did not work and sink took ages to empty. only three english speking channels on TV- one had no audio and the others were Financial channels. location was the only positive about this hotel. Dour and no athmosphere at all

A very comfortable hotel. Few guests so were upgraded to better rooms. Two minutes to beach, promenade, casino and shops. Hotel menu appeared to be expensive compared to restaurants in the area.

Good value for money, good size room with nice big doors to open out onto small balcony. Good size bathroom. Brilliant location, so close to the sea, and in a quite area. Staff had good English too which helped.

I was traveling thru the Biarritz on my way from Paris to Madrid. The lobby was tired and so was the room and didn't smell good. The blankets on the bed were stained and old. Unfortunately, I was there on New Years eve. My room was on the first floor directly above the temporary dance floor. At 1:30 a.m. I called to ask what time the music was going […] to be turned off and the night receptionist said "I don't speak in English" in English. I called again at 2:45 a.m. as the music was cranking and even louder at this point. The music shut off at 3:00 a.m. The hotel never should have used that room that night. I talked to reception in the morning and she was horrified that they didn't change my room and that the night manager said he didn't speak English because that is not true. I would like a refund. And now I am home and sick and really mad at the hotel. The morning manager had me fill out a review. I will contact Expedia about a refund. Also, this hotel is in no way a four star hotel. I stated in San Sebastian two nights before and the Astoria was perfect and definitely a four start. This one -- a two star at best. This hotel needs a drastic makeover. Devamı

Great location, exactly as I had hoped. Free parking, and a beautiful room just a block from the beach. For 8 euros a day, I was able to stay with my large dog-- and not one dirty look from either staff or hotel guest. A beautiful stay in Biarritz.

This was my second stay at the Grand Tonic, and I certainly hope to have at least a third. The room was spacious, with a king sized bed- unheard of in Europe! There was a large closet, and- one of my pet peeves for a hotel, especially at a beach- a retractable clothes line in the tub/shower for wet swim suits. The staff was very accomodating, bringing […] us extra pillows, and they supply you with a towel for the beach. The only drawback is that there is no view of the water- you look out onto a city street. But you are really two minutes walk to the public beach area, and not paying twice as much to see the bay out of your window. I'll take that just fine any day. . Devamı

This hotel, from grand hotel days, is virtually across the street from the beach and within easy walking distance to shops. The rooms are large and include a minibar, which we always find convenient. The restaurant and bar are open all day and offer meals/drinks at fair prices. We found the staff very responsive, including helping us score one of the […] coveted free parking spots in their lot. This hotel is only one block from the main beach and within walking distance of the city center. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, which is very convenient as parking in the area was difficult to find. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. Over prices and in serious need of modernisation. The staff however were very friendly.

There is no way that this hotel should be rated as a 4-star but it's very clean, the staff is friendly and the location is great, just walk a block and you're at the beach! The bed was as hard as a rock and don't waste your time with the buffet breakfast, it's not even close to being worth the price.

One of the few hotels that offer free internet which is a pleasure. The rooms have airconditioners that work well and are large when compared to other similar rated hotels. Very well situated to all amenities. If breakfast was improved to cover an english breakfast at a reasonable price it would be of benefit. Bra hotell, dyr men bra frukost. En sur kvinna i receptionen förtog lite av glädjen i vistelsen medan en mycket trevlig man tog emot oss när vi kom.

Es la segunda vez que nos alojamos en este hotel ya que está muy ubicado y bien de precio debido a una promoción. Es un hotel muy agradable si bien las instalaciones son bastante antiguas al igual que en todos los hoteles que conozco en Biarritz.

Très bonnes impressions dans la mesure où nous avons bénéficié d'un tarif très intéressant pour un hôtel 4 étoiles avec une chambre très confortable. Malgré son emplacement en centre ville, nous n'avons pas été gênés par le bruit extérieur.

Hôtel charmant et calme. Lit confortable et chambre suffisamment grande pour un séjour. Point à améliorer : le petit déjeuner qui pourrait être améliorer (qualité des produits) pour le prix et le style de l'hôtel.

Cet hôtel est idéalement placé à Biarritz (2 pas de la plage, du casino, des commerces...). Les chambres sont assez spacieuses, le lit est grand et confortable, la baignoire balnéo est un plus, la décoration et le service sont très bons. Attention tout de même à certains petits détails peu importants mais qu'on ne laisse pas passer pour une chambre […] à ce tarif (scotch noir sur la tête de lit pour cacher une prise électrique non utilisée). Point négatif : le parking gratuit a très peu de places, si vous arrivez tard, vous devrez vous garer dans un parking public type Vinci (cher à Biarritz). Le petit déjeuner en chambre est copieux et peu onéreux. Je vous recommande le restaurant de l'hôtel qui propose de bon plats à très bon tarif. En bref, c'est un excellent hôtel que je vous recommande vivement. Devamı

Perfekt läge med 100 meter till stranden. Mycket bra personal och fina rum. Ingen röklukt, även fast det är tillåtet. Jacuzzi och låsen fungerade inte, men det är inget som man tänker på då man mestadels är på stranden. Frukosten var något dyr, men mycket bättre än utbudet på stan som mestadels är vitt bröd och sylt. Väldigt lugnt och trevligt område. […] Om du ska till Biarritz, så är det det bästa och mest prisvärda hotellet ni kan hitta! Devamı

Pas de bouchon dans la baignoire et personne capable d en trouver un ! Donc impossibilité de profiter des jet de massage ! Personnel peu sympathique et souriant . Hôtel trop cher pour ce qu il propose . Cependant est bien situé .

Très bon séjour, hôtel propre (malgré la moquette de la chambre mais nous savons tous que la moquette est très salissante). Le personnel de l'hôtel est très professionnel, très aimable (il est vrai qu'à Biarritz, les gens sont souvent très aimables et c'est très appréciable). très bon emplacement dans biarritz, agréable de pouvoir facilement se balader dans biarritz, ligne de bus à coté, toujours pratique. Personnel accueillant et service de qualité. En revanche la propreté des chambres n'est pas toujours au rdv (les murs pourraient etre lessivés...). Dette hotellet påstår at det er fire stjerner, men det må ha vært for 40 år siden. Helt ok hotell, med gratis parkering, men ca 10 min fra sentrum. Ville heller anbefalt Hotel Florida basert på beliggenhet da dette er i samme prisklasse.
