The hotel was very nice, definitely on the older side but that is to be expected for the area it is in. The location couldn't be better!! Loved the roof deck and the fitness center was nice. The pool was a little small. Would recommend to a friend.

Location was fantastic - literally across the street from the beach and on the wonderful Ocean Ave. Hotel was a little older, but that's because it is one of the historic art-deco buildings in the neighborhood. Hallways were a little dark, but once in the room it was cozy. Great value!

our room didn't smell, which is a big plus for any hotel room. it didn't face ocean drive, so we were away from the noise. though we got the 'backyard' air conditioner white noise at night. 6th and ocean is a tad far from lincoln road, if that's what you're going for, but local shuttle is on washington. if you're all about nikki beach and the fine restaurants […] below 6th street, this hotel is your place. the bathrooms could use some renovating! old sinks and showers, but water pressure OK. mini fridge was a HUGE plus. all in all, good stay. very comfy beds. hotel location is absolutely great! it is by the beach and by all the local attractions. hotel room is very clean, hotel service is great, but rooms are somewhat older and outdated, and can become quite noisy if your neighbors are.

Room was VERY small, yet the convenience of the location to ocean dr., and staff made up for it. If you have a lot of luggage, or need room to strech this place is not for you. The roof was a great addition to the overall layout.

Room: 501 vent in shower hasn't been cleaned in awhile. The room was very dim. Could use more lighting! Carlos the bellsman was very helpful and friendly to everyone. The female concierge could learn a thing or two from him. She wasn't friendly or has selected people she chose to assist with customer service.

Loved the location. Right across the hotel is south beach and lot of restaurants. We got a Queen bed room facing the pool and having a partial ocean view. The bed was comfortable, but bathroom a little cramped. Free beach chairs+towels is a plus. This was one of the not-so-pricy hotels on the SoBe strip. If you plan to spend most of the time outside […] and just need a place to crash, this is it! Nice breakfast at Park Central cafe. Parking lot is nearby. They provide parking passes for $15/night (recommended). However, they ran out the passes when we checked in, so had to pay extra for the first night. Overall, its a decent hotel for the price. Park Central was a great hotel in a great location, given the price. The hotel was pretty quirky as well, and we enjoyed it. It's just on the right end of Ocean Drive, as it gets a bit loud & scummy further down.

This is a charming hotel, with great and helpful amenities. The poolside area is great for napping, and the rooms are more than adequate. I'd stay again because I got great service from the desk, and the location is excellent.

This vintage hotel is lovely and surprisingly quiet for a South Beach ocean drive location. Nice quiet pool. The lighting in the hallways could be brighter, but we love the adherence to Deco furnishings, the quirky slow elevator and the overhead fans.

Excellent location - heart of South Beach. Well appointed and maintained lobby. Rooms feel like a cheap motel. Carpet needs to be changed. Bathrooms need fix-up.

Loved the location, as well as the rooftop lounge area and the cool little pool deck. The staff was great and even extended the hours at our request so we could enjoy the warm ocean breeze a bit longer at night. Rooms, however, were small and dated. On the south end of Ocean, across from the park and beach. Close parking garage that allows access when all of the other beach goers are turned away. Higher end restaurant on premises. Street is lined with restaurants from family to couples style. Entertainment district is for the young. Free beach chairs. Avoid News Cafe. Poor food and waiters don't […] care. There are better places for breakfast. Expect to spend a lot, maybe 30% more. All restaurants automatically tack on 18% tip charge. Miami feels like the capital of South America. Devamı

I would still stay at this hotel again because of the location. But rooms are very small and outdated friendly staff

To preface my comments, I stay in South Beach every year for the Miami Boat Show. Stayed here on customer referral and came away feeling like I got the best value I had in years. Bathrooms a little small, but key here is room was very clean. Beds had clean sheets and staff was very good, from front desk to the cleaning crew. Good location to all venues […] on Ocean Ave, and the common "noise factor" one has with sleeping when staying on the strip was minimal. My only major complaint was with some retreival timing issues on valet parking while there. Minor inconveniences included no coffee service on site or in rooms, and secondary lock on rooms did not give me the greatest sense of security. However, I came away from stay knowing it was a good value for the area and somewhere I will definitely consider staying again next year. Devamı

I always stay here when I can. Nice hotel, good value.

We saw the Park Central Hotel on our previous visit to South beach and decided we must stay there. Everything is fully art deco and the hotel is in a really good position. The rooms are a little tired but very authentic

The Park Central is what it is; by the park and central to the South Beach strip. When we arrived at the hotel, we were a little surprised by the interior. The pictures on their website as well as those we had seen here did not match what we were witnessing. Not to say that the hotel is run down, but the pictures for the most part are always taken […] at night and they took shots of the best room here. (I will admit that after looking at the photos we were expecting something a tad more magical and so we felt let down is all) Our room was run down. It's not gross, but it definitely needs to be renovated or something. It feels a little dodgy. I'm not trying to say it's a bad place but my husband and I were bagging on the place all week.... "The closet looks like where David Carradine died." "This is what the tower of terror looked like before lightning struck the tower." "I don't think anyone is staying here because the elevator is always waiting for us." I will say that I would give their parking garage system 5 stars. You pay for a pre paid card that allows you into the garage lot. So much nicer than dealing with your wallet in the car or trying to find parking on the street. We probably won't be back (we'll probably just splurge next time) but it's not awful. Devamı

Room was very comfortable, roof top deck provided great views and a private oasis to take in the sun. Dinner at Quinn's restaurant in the lobby was one of the best I've ever had in Miami! Must try the coconut and pineapple mojito!

our first visit to Miami, and probably the last. the hotel is in a great location on bustling Ocean Drive with the beach minutes away. This is in the Art Deco District and we thought the hotel used this an an excuse for not doing anything to refurb the rooms. the hotel exterior and lobby/ restaurant have been refurbed but the rooms are dark, dingy and […] smell damp with an old noisy air conditioning system. Thw sorts rooms are those at the side of the hotel facing into a wall. We couldn't have stayed in the first room we were given but the staff were helpful and give us a change to done which was better, but still not as bright as the rooms at the front. no kettle or coffee machine and only 1 hard chair in first room with 2 dining chairs and a small table in the 2nd. Plus points: friendly helpful efficient staff, nice white towels and bed linen, good noise insulation so didn't hear any of the night life at night time. Complimentary beach towels and loungers, very comfy. King size beds or 2 doubles. Miami Beach is a bit cut off from the rest of Miami until you get to know about the buses which are frequent and cheap, but it's a great spot for long lazy breakfasts or brunches and access to the beach. Hotel staff, especially concierge were very helpful. Location was in the middle of a vibrant area and beautiful beach. Will be our hotel of choice when we return to Miami Beach

Great little hotel across the street from the beach in the Art Deco District. The staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. We really enjoyed our meal at Quinn's - the food was amazing, and the bartender makes a terrific mojito! I'll definitely stay there again.

we liked the hotel very much, the staff was okay, not always friendly. the location is great, less than one minute to the beach.

Overall our stay was enjoyable. The hotel is an older hotel that has been maintained well. I found it to be one of the better values in South Beach. I would absolutely go there again!

A nice little hotel close to the beach, shops and restaurants along Ocean Drive. Free sunloungers on the beach are a good bonus. Free wifi available throughout the hotel although very patchy in places.

Great Location, older art deco hotel. (My second stay here). If you're used to brand new swanky hotels, this may not be for you. But the room was very clean, the bed and bedding very comfortable. The Bathroom is small, but again clean and great water pressure in the shower. We had a great view from the top floor (Room 602) downside was - next to the […] elevator which we could hear going up and down and the squeak of the doors as they opened and closed. Liked the free pool and beach towel service and free beach chairs. Easy to walk to all the South Beach places and restaurants. 15 min , $32 dollar taxi to airport. Great city rental bikes on the beach to tool around with (various locations to rent). Had a great time. Devamı

Hotel is set in the middle of South Beach Art Deco area, across the road from the beach - the location couldn't be better. The facilities and standard of the hotel were as expected, we had a room with 2 double beds which was of a reasonable size. Just like everyone else have said. Location. The only problem I had was that they "throttle the ac". When we first walked in...the room was cold but a day and a half later the room never cooled "properly" the rest of the time there. Would I come back....whenever you have a chance to stay in "South Beach" you have to take opportunity.

I stayed at the Park Central from June 30-August 2, 2011. After I got ove the initial shock of the vintage nature of the room, I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel front desk service was impeccable. I could not have asked for anything more. The room is small and quaint. The bathroom is old, but clean. Maid service everyday and very friendly staff. Didn't […] really indulge in the pool area becasue the beach was right across the street. The 6th floor lounge is a beautifiul deck area where you can lay out if you choose not to go to the beach. They also have different activities during the week for the guest to enjoy. I would definitely stay here again. Given the fact that this hotel is on Ocean Drive, my sleep during the day and night were never interuppted by excessive noise. The food in the restaurant was excellent. There was towel service and beach chairs available. Umbrellas were available at cost of $12.00. Walgreens is right around the corner and to be honest the location is uber convenient to everything. Kudos again to the front desk staff! Keep up the good work. If you are looking for a clean room-no bed bugs, no bloody sheets, no nothing. The Park Central is for you. I am super duper obsesseive over bathroom cleanliness and this bathroom lived up to my expectations given the fact that it was obviously dated. Two thumbs up! Devamı

Loved the location of this hotel and the convenience of the car garage since I was concerned about parking. The restaurant and rooftop lounge were great as well. And though I like that I had a room in the back of the hotel making it peaceful to sleep, the only part I dislike was the entrance, the door to my room was in the back near the stairs. Park Central Hotel - Right on South Beach Miami Stayed for 6 nights June 11. Enjoyed our stay. Restuarants perhaps a bit pricey, Good choice though. Excellent weather so spent a lot of time on the beach. Consierge very helpful, arranging a couple of trips for us. I can recomend the Duck Tour. All in a very enjoyable stay.

Hotel is newly renovated on the lobby level, pool is small but big enough to enjoy, located well and clean. They have a really good restaurant too. Staff was very friendly, and they allowed us to check in hours early which was very much appreciated. Check out is NOON, which is better than most S.Beach hotels. Bathroom is older and small, but clean. No bad odors or stains. Water pressure in the shower almost peeled my skin off, and was not adjustable (shower head broken). I cannot express the word CLEAN any harder. I need to feel clean and comfortable. I definitely got that feeling at The Park Central. Location is fantastic! Check-in without problems. Beautiful entrance. Given last room on 3rd floor at end of hallway next to a closet. Not very attractive. Rarely cleaning staff gathered there, but did talk loudly when they did so. Rear view of hotel alley, but best place to be as front of hotel is on roudy ocean drive. Very quiet all night. Your average hotel room. Just […] right for a weekend stay. Great toiletries and plenty of towels. Avoid the gym at all costs as it is concrete, very cold AC, efficiency sized with scant equipment. Go for a run on the beach! Nice heated swimming pool! Great location within walking distance of everything. Valet parking only. Luckily found parking on meter for 8 hours at a time. The hotel is located right in the middle of everything, but the room I had at first was SUPER small because it was double beds. I asked for a upgrade, because the hallway was hot & and smelt like feet, & they gave me a free upgrade in a suite which was great! The suites are really nice and spacious. The only way I would stay here is again is if I got […] a suite or had a one bed room. The double bed rooms are terrible.
