Worst front desk service I've ever received!!! Too long of a story for here, but she was rude and not at all helpful. Room was nice and very clean. TV was so staticky that we couldn't watch it. The only bright side was our server at the lobby bar, Elizabeth. She was awesome!

The Doubletree in San Jose is a nice hotel, nice rooms, beds, TV etc. A few things I didn't like was the fact that there was no free wireless internet in the rooms, you actually had to go to the lobby. This is silicon valley, get with the program Doubletree. The food at this hotel is good but very expensive, $3.00 for an egg, $4.00 for a grapefruit, […] and $20 for a beer and some chicken wings. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area. Overall a nice stay, nice pool but if you want to have more people in the hotel restaurants lower the prices! Devamı

This hotel was very nice, but we woke up to a cold shower. When asked about it at check out they offered an apology and a 15 dollar discount. I liked the hotel but I think they should have done more.

Great hotel , fast airport pick up

Hotel was very clean. I was disappointed when I arrived back to my Hotel room at 1:00, the Hotel restaurant still had their band playing and I could here it in my room at 1:00 in the morning. Called the front desk all they said was they were sorry and the band would whine down around 1:30, wow not an answer I would have expected. We always stay at the double tree every time we go to San Jose for business. Service is always polite and reliable. Great steak house too! Breakfast and lunch also nice with very polite servers who pay special attention to needs and recall me from prior visits. Very accomodating.

This hotel was severely under-staffed the entire duration of our stay. The maids didn't bother to vacuum our room and cheerio's from whoever stayed the night before were still on the carpet...all THREE days we were there! There was food on the carpet in the hallways, dirt in the bathrooms and oh, my God, there was what looked like blood in our ice bucket. […] Everything costs an exorbitant amount of money, meaning $16 for a kids pay-per-view and $17 for macaroni and cheese clearly made with some kind of powdered cheese. I felt for the staff, who ran around like crazy while the general manager chit-chatted with people at the bar...the bar that was out of sushi by-the-way! Devamı

The hotel is conveniently located near the freeway, but no other attractions nearby. The price was high, the parking was high, there is no when to park your veihicle upon arrival for checking in, the lighting in the bathroom was terrible, the bathroom shower was stained. I found that hotel to be conveniently located close to the San Jose Airport with good shuttle service. Unfortunately it was in an isolated office park section of town which meant limited dining opptions. You would need to take a 17 to 20 dollar cab ride to any of the main restaurant sections of town. after i walked on the room,with out shoes ,my socks was very durty , so the carpet was very durty

This is a nice hotel with very helpful staff and is very close to the airport. The only drawback is that with the hotels.com rate they put you in the 1980s non- updated rooms and wifi is not included in your room, you must pay $15. Otherwise a very convienient hotel with great staff and amenities.

The ceiling looked like an office ceiling. The room was clean and nicely decorated though. The person staying in the room next to us kept us up all night. It sounded like someone kept rolling the closet door open and shut for almost 2 hours. At around 2am I called the front desk to notify them of the issue, but the problem continued. I probably only […] slept for 3 hours that night. For my own safety I didn't want to call again or knock on the next room door and I don't know how much more the hotel staff can do. Will never choose this hotel again. NEVER! 1. very high price, and no free wifi, no free packing, no free breakfast, even you already pay unfairly high price for the room (compared to the hotels in same area). 2. room is like a motel; 3. bad service, esp. at the front desk.

Nice hotel. Great service at the desk. We also had a great waitress at the lounge. She provided excellent service!

Room was great.. Very spacious and huge bed Great location..every thing we were trying to do was within a mile or two Only downer was the 18 dollar parking fee we had to pay at check in Wasn't aware that we had to pay for parking That was definitely a first for me I guess it's cause we were by the airport Either way had a great stay here Would recommend […] this hotel to anyone visiting San Jose Devamı

Seemed like it should be a good hotel during business week with several restaurants, a small shop, and nice pool area. On Christmas eve, very few people were around and staff was not available to bring bags to room or find a bell cart so we could do it ourselves. We managed to book a dive hotel and then changed over to this wonderful hotel and salvaged our Christmas stay to visit relatives. Wonderful. Even used pool and jacuzzi in middle of winter. Loved it.

Will tell friends to stay

Beds were small, stains on the wall, no fridge in the room, no vending machines with snacks. Also, a heads up... If you give them a debit card to put on file for miscellaneous charges, they hold a certain amount of money on the card as a security deposit until you check out. Overall the hotel is nice, beds and pillows comfy however::: parking is $18 a day and they want to charge you $12.95/day for wifi in the room. There is free wifi in the common area...It is a pretty convenient location, but the extra charges are a bit much in my opinion. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel overall isn't bad. However, $18.00 per night parking is outrageous!! Do not order room service unless you bring a lot of cash - (22% service fee, plus $4.00). Bed was comfortable, but bathroom was in need of repair. Would I stay again? Probably not. The parking issue was a deal breaker.

I like the hotel. It was very comfotable. The bed's are awesome. What I did not like is how there was food left out of other rooms in the hallway. it was there all night! Gross. I had a lot of fun at this hotel the staff was friendly and my stay on the executive side was very private and no noise complaints here definitly will recommend

I was very disappointed with my room at this hotel. It wasn't cleaned properly and the bathroom had hair on the floor from a previous guest!

Hotel was great with the exception of the pillows. They were horribly flat. once you laid your head on them, it was like you were laying on the mattress with no pillow. Even using multiple pillows it was still hard to get comfortable.

Easy to find, close to main highways, well maintained. Nice overall property. Gated lot, valet parking available.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this hotel. The location was fantastic- literally only a 3-5 minute shuttle ride to/from the airport. The building and room showed its age a bit. I order room service a lot so I know it is ALWAYS expensive, but this seemed on the steep side- example, a can of diet coke was $4 (I could go to the vending machine down the hall and get one for $1.50). The breakfast at Sprigs was also very good. My only real disappointment was the balconey- they advertise that each room has one. Well, really, you have a sliding glass door (which always let in more noise) to a small slab of space. There wasn't even enough room for a chair. I hardly ever left the hotel for 2 days and had really been hoping to eat and read in the fresh air. Still, I am certain we will go back to this hotel, the overall experience was great. Devamı

I have never in my life had to pay for parking at a hotel I was staying at. $18 overnight for self park, or $21 overnight for valet. Bogus! I will never stay here again!
