Rely nice clean comfortable hotel - 2 blocks from Beale, beside the Peabody. Great service, nice cookies

The hotel is extremely well located - very close to Beale but far enough to give you some peace & quiet when you want it - plenty of bars and restaurants within an easy walking distance. The TGI Friday's that is attached has a pretty decent breakfast buffet for a reasonable price. The room (on the 8th floor - #816) was spacious and well furnished. There […] were only two things that could be improved - there were not nearly enough electrical outlets (only one at the computer desk) and they were all very loose (the cords wanted to fall out) and the wall paper in the shower area is peeling off. We thought that the hotel was a good value when considering the price, location, room amenties (free wifi!) and helpfulness of the staff. We would definitely stay there again. Devamı

Love the hotel. Warm cookies at check in were great. Was really close to Beale street for all the night life. The only "bad" part was the street noise, but there was an NBA playoff game so the crowd was a bit rowdy.

My husband and I traveled to Memphis with 4 other couples and stayed at the Doubletree in downtown Memphis for a long week-end. The hotel is in a great location if you're wanting to spend time on Beale Street and maybe take in a Memphis Redbird game! The ballpark is directly across the street, the Peabody is right next door if you want to see the ducks, […] the trolley is a couple of blocks away, and Beale Street is 2 blocks away. We have visited Memphis twice in two years and both times have stayed at the Doubletree. I would highly recommend it! Devamı

The only downside was valet parking only, but if you are staying there over the weekend, you can park for free on the street.

The hotel was at the corner of 3rd & Union across the street from Auto Zone Park & was just a couple block walk from Beal Street. Hotel staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was clean & had a comfortable king size bed. Overall room lighting could have been a bit brighter, but a very nice stay.

I couldn't have asked for a better mix of value and location! I booked the room because it was one of the cheapest in the neighborhood, but didn't expect my stay to be so comfortable and convenient. The entire staff was lovely. My room was large and comfortable and the bedding was surprisingly high quality. It's right across from the Peabody and about […] a 3 minute walk to Beale St., Rock and Soul Museum, Gibson and tons of bars and restaurants. This hotel does everything well. But they do a GREAT job with their staff. All were extremely friendly, from the front desk staff to the maintenance staff.

The Double Tree was a wonderful hotel. Close to great fun in Memphis. It was extremely comfortable, clean and well designed. We had a great stay. Better rates than the Peabody and right across the street.

In general, my hotel stay was very good, but there were some problems. The bathroom was not as clean as I have come to expect from Doubletree. The floor had some dirt and debris. The shower stall tiles had stained grout (i.e., mold or mildew or the like). The bathtub spigot was not properly installed and caulking had been used roughly to try to close […] the gap between the spigot and the tub wall. Great job....but needs microwave & refrigerator

I'll keep this short, simple, and sweet...if you go to Memphis, stay at this hotel! It's nicely located in the middle of practically anywhere you would like to go. Within walking distance of hot places like Beale street and more! And the awesome warm chocolate chip cookies they give you when you check in are incredible! Be prepared for the mandatory […] valet parking though. That's the only small downside, but at least they keep your vehicle secure!! Devamı

Stayed 6 nights in March, 2011 and had a great time. Comfortable and quiet, reasonably good WiFi (just had to renew login every day), only drawback was the room's temperature control, which was pre-set to one temperature and the fan cycled on and off, making the room alternately a little too cold or a little too warm.

people were so helpful and friendly - the furniture in the room was particularly comfortable - the two chairs. Very centrally located in between Beale Street and the trolley as we spent most of the time at the convention center via the trolley. Loved being across from the Peaabody as watched the duck walk every day - just a hoot. Loved Huey's which […] was a close by. The only thing we missed was a shuttle to and from the airport as some hotels offer. Devamı

The hotel was just ok. The hallways were noisy after hours and we could hear the ice machine in our room at odd hours. I thought thehotos was pricy for what we experienced.

Clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Close to Bealle street, street cars, nightly entertainment. Cookies are fantastic such a nice treat. Suprised there are no newspapers, coffee and small niceties in lobby for people there more than one night.

This was like a one star hotel for four star prices. There was a cockroach running around the sink area of the bathroom. The walls are paper thin and you could hear everything going on around us. The room was not clean, needed paint work, and the bathroom had a nasty odor to it. I went to the lobby to get another room for these issues and no apology […] was given. There was no concession offered. This will be the last Double Tree Hotel I will stay in period. This was a very bad experience. Would not recommend! Devamı

The staff were ALL overly gracious, courteous and attentive and we were completely satisfied of the overall experience!! The location is amazing and the room service was wonderful. We will definitely return!

Close to downtown. Walking distance to downtown where all the fun is. Hotel staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Loved it.

No microwave or fridge that really is the only reason to stay at another location after hanging on bill and bringing food back ou can't oil it or heat it..cheaper hotels have both these items.

This was a very nice hotel and the service was great. The only complaint we had is that they doing a total renivation of the lobby area and makes navigating to and from the elevators a litle tricky. Would use again though without hesitation.

We truly enjoyed our stay and will be returning. Excellent customer service on all three shifts from everyone we came in contact with. Please thank everyone who worked that weekend jan27-29 2012. They made our anniversary get a way awesome.

The hotel location was great. They were not full but put us next to loud partyers. The lobby was under construction.

Lobby was under renovation, not a big deal for us. Room was very nice with newer fixtures. Clean and quite. One thing I noticed was the air intake vent for the HVAC was DIRTY and needed to be cleaned. Staff was very nice and friendly.

We were not made aware that renovations would be taken place during our stay. When we walked in there were no signs pointing where to go and there was only one little opening where the front desk was because of all the black plastic everywhere. She was helpful and friendly but very slow. The room was nice. The only complaint was that it would have been […] nice to have had an extra blanket in the room because the comforter and sheets were really thin. Admittedly, the hotel was undergoing a renovation in the main lobby, but in no way did tha detract from our overall enjoyment of the hotel. The room was excellent, bed was very comfortable. The proximity to Beale Street was the ultimate selling point (just two blocks away...easy walking distance I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Memphis […] and will plan to stay here again on my return visits. Hotel staff did not clean our room. Not very professional.

We've stayed here in the past and love the hotel... close to area attractions, very comfy, and great service. Would advise against staying there until renovations are complete; the crews start really early (before 9am on Sunday) and stay late. Lots of drilling and hammering noises made it impossible to sleep in on Sunday. They also had a fire alarm […] Sat. evening-difficult to hear instructions being given on intercom, very confusing, etc. We will certainly return but not until renovations are completed. Devamı

Staff was great. Room was clean, however in need of several repairs, the hook on bathroom door barely hanging on, the heat/air registers ALL needed cleaned, as did the outside of the coffee pot and the filter screen for the in room hair dryer, you had to hold the handle on the toilet to make it flush, it also wobbled on the floor, Bed was marvelously […] comfortable and the room was clean except as noted. Very close to Fedex Forum and Beale St. Was not happy to pay $21 fo the parking and the room was pricey considering the maintaince issues, but I would use it again and would suggest it to friends. Be careful not to leave anything in your car when valet park it. I left half a candy bar in my vehicle thinking it would be there when I retrieved it not even 24 hours later but someone who parked the vehicle took the liberty of eating half of the remaining bar. Especially for Beale Street. A really nice property for a pleasurable stay.

A little pricey, especially when you add the $21 valet parking as the only option if you don't want to park on the somewhat dangerous looking streets--and only overnight because the meters kick in at 8am. The cookie was amazing though! Minor noise from the street, nice bed, I thought the website said breakfast was included, but not so. Maybe I read […] wrong. Devamı

We stayed @ the double tree because of the close proximity to the Fed Ex Forum. We were very satisfied w/the hotel & all the staff!!! Wonderful!!!

great time great hotel, only problem was not enough electrical outlets.. we had to unplug the tv or lamp to plug in the coffee pot, and had to unplug something else to plug in the iron...

Got placed on a half smoking half not. Floor smelled like an ash tray. Room had bugs. Part of bathroom ceiling was peeling. Room was next to the service elevator and morning woke us up each morning. Will not stay there again.

Good location, right across from the Peabody, but disappointing for room for a Doubletree. Small, noisy, wallpaper peeling.
