First off, this is a beautiful hotel, and the hotel.com price was great. We had a lovely two bedroom suite that was furnished very nicely. No complaints. The valet parkers and the staff in the Library Bar are excellent. One struggles to find the right definition for the cleaning staff--perhaps passive-aggressive comes to mind for reasons I will not […] extrapolate on except to say I had to leave notes on items it is obvious that we had paid for and wanted to remain in the room. Awesome hotel in a great location. Normally I stay at the Stoneleigh, but changed it up this time and was very satisfied....except for one thing: no complimentary internet. I was told when checking out that there was complimentary internet in the lobby only, but I had no way of knowing. These days it has to be mandatory for every hotel to have complimentary […] internet for business and pleasure. That is the only thing I can complain about. Devamı

They did not disclose the extra charges online! They charge $13 for internet ! They charge $14 for breakfast ! They charge $22 for parking ! $50 bucks extra for what is included in other hotels!

We went for a weekend get away and the place was fantastic. Great location and The bar inside the hotel was excellent.

Great room, comphy bad and linens. Would go back again just for the lounge singer in the Library Bar! She was great. You'll pay to park at most of the hotels in Dallas so Valet charge was not a biggie.

Nice size rooms, good lighting.

We recently stayed at the Warwick hotel, which is walking distance to local shops and bars we hang at. The staff was super friendly and the hotel exceeded or expectations for quality and convenience.

Beautiful, historic hotel - service was excellent and the hotel was lovely - I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a hotel in uptown Dallas.

There's no comparable place in Dallas to stay

Hotel staff is super friendly and helpful and fun. Location is great, everything you need from local car rental, to mani/pedi, to pharmacy to good! restaurants, to super nice shopping are all right down the street.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel bar is known as "The Library" and had live music and a lively crowd every night. Plenty of good restaurants in walking distance and a Walgreen's across the street if needed. It is an older hotel but well maintained and with some real personality.

Excellent place. Love everything about it.

Each of the past 2 times I have stayed here I have been up to my ankles in water when I take a shower. Please update the plumbing! Also, a shampoo/conditioner combination does not work for us ladies with long hair. Please provide a separate shampoo and conditioner.

The Warwick Melrose is a historic hotel while the rooms and the facilities have been updated without losing the beauty of the hotel. Comfortable rooms, great service and great location.

The Good: I hadn't stayed at the Melrose since it became a Warwick Hotel, and in most respects, I was pleased to see it was still the same great hotel I've enjoyed for many years -- a well-maintained, classic hotel in a great area. The uber-cozy Library Bar at the Melrose is one of my favorite bars at a hotel or otherwise. There's also lots of great stuff within walking distance of this hotel, so I didn't need to use my car that much. The Bad: The first room I was assigned was smaller than any I had ever seen at the hotel, and it was on a noisy corner. I complained and was immediately moved to a nicer room, but I got the feeling the first room was what you got if you didn't ask for something better. The hotel was not crowded, so they had plenty of available rooms. The new overnight parking fee was outrageous, especially for Dallas and especially for this neighborhood! Parking used to be free at this hotel. I can imagine paying maybe half of what they're charging, The bellman was nice enough to tell me that the two hour limits on street parking beside the hotel aren't enforced, so I parked there for free. The Ugly: Generally, the rooms are impeccably clean, but the windows in both of the rooms I saw were filthy and needed to be cleaned from the outside. A window pane in my second room was cracked and needed to be replaced. Devamı

My husband and I spent New Years' Eve here, which happens to also be my birthday. It was not our first time at the Melrose and, as always, we throughly enjoyed our visit. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the room was lovely. My children had called ahead and they had a bottle of champagne chilling in our room when we arrived, with lovely […] birthday wishes. We look forward to visiting again soon! Devamı

When you first enter the concierge parking you immediately sense quality and welcome. The parker was snappy. When entering the lobby all eyes were on us. The Desk clerk was ready to receive our name and begin the grandest of welcomes. The quite unusual and chatty bellman was very very faset at getting us into our wondeerful old world cozy room. This […] room reminded me of the Plaza in the 60's. All quality furnishings and well displayed. We were on the top floor with a wonderful view of the downtown Dallas skyline from the bed. We had a great view outside our window. We did not hear any guests as there was a party on our floor and what appeared to be a family reunion or wedding. Our room was fabulously clean and I felt spoiled by the room.

The beds are extremely comfortable! The restaurant was closed for remodeling at the time, but other than that everything was great.

This is such a great area! Everything in the room was great. It is beyond refreshing to stay in a hotel that understands that Starbucks coffee is not high-quality and instead provides Wolfgang Puck's for a morning brew. Couple of gripes...it would have been nice if the internet charge was included in the rate. And be forewarned that even if you have […] a Privacy notice on your door it will not stop housekeeping from loudly knocking on your door...even with the TV on. Also, housekeeping does not refrain from their cleaning duties even when there is a guest in the next room...I was literally woken up by furniture dragging in whatever room was next to me along with loud banging. Great service at the front desk, though, and at the valet. Linens were very nice, too. Devamı

Ive been coming to this hotel for over 20 years and have always loved it! Not this time I think the quality of management has gone down. It's gotten tacky! Didn't appreciate them forcing me into paying for valet $28 a night, and not having self parking. Will not stay there again

Overall a good experience but the staff needs polish. I found the employees to be inhospitable and aggressive. Guests expecting to use the hotel’s shuttle should know that it operates within very limited hours even during a holiday weekend.

the location was fine. The hotel was clean and fairly nice although the bathroom door squealed so loudly we attempted to never close it. Seemed to be nickled and dimed on some charges including $11.85 for internet, and valet $24 to park 10 feet from the front door in an otherwise empty lot. This hotel is in the perfect spot to enjoy all the local area has to offer. The area has a lot to offer and so does the hotel.

In the past I have spent a lot of time in this hotel. The location is great and in has been a solid 4 star hotel. Since new ownership this hotel has changed substantially. Front desk staff were kind at check in but then the room keys were wrong and continued to have an issue with keys not working, people in our room etc. They did not have hot room […] service meals after 9PM. The breakfast buffet was extremely small and was not presented well. Sad to see such a great hotel head into a substandard stay. I hope they new ownership steps up to the level of service, dining and experience of the old Melrose hotel. Devamı

the room was beautifully decorated. The hotel bar/rest. is amazing - great food, drinks and atmosphere!

Year after year we travel to Dallas and always stay at The Melrose because it is always consistent. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. The location is close to everything. We had lunch at the restaurant and it was fantastic. They had a great menu and the food was delicious!!! We will continue to go back.

A great place to stay. Convenient for downtown and the art district. I have been a fan of the hotel for years. Except for the Mansion on Turtle Creek; it is my favorite in Dallas.

I stay here often. Can't say enough good things about it. Staff, rooms, Library Bar, restaurant, location. All great.

This is a beautiful historic hotel. The staff was indeed very friendly. The price value was a tag too high though for what you receive in return. The parking price I felt was high, the meal prices were too. I guess that you pay for the overall surroundings.
