The hotel is really nice, very good standard, the neighbourhood is great, very well connected with the rest of Berlin. I definitively will book again this hotel.

Excellent location near to Zoo bus and rail stations, and to Ku'dam shops and restaurants. Service abrupt and no bar facilities during our stay. Did not have breakfast as part of the deal but plenty of choice nearby. Room 450 had been refurbished with new bathroom.

stayed 3 nights in mid of february, in the single room. The room was a bit tired but very very clean. thebed was comfort. Free wifi was a nice surprise. (don't forget to ask for a voucher at the reception). The hotel has great connetion to public transport' and to Tegel airport I would stay there if i will come to Berlin again. Very close to many site-seeing places and the staff are very nice and helpful.

first room i was given was horrible, small, dark and smelly, but the staff was nice and gave me a much better one location is great hotel is old and needs refurbushing breakfast was good

We got a VERY cheap rate and thus we did not go into this thinking luxury resort...And we were right, but mostly happy with what we did get. We got an older room you keep hearing about in reviews (I asked for a newer room, the kid at the desk said it was a newer room, but it wasn't) It wasn't all that bad, to be honest. The rugs were old, the furnature […] was scratched up, but it was VERY clean, and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The bed was very very firm, be prepared for that! Also the windows do open, you just need to understand european windows. Handle vertical, end down = Locked. Handle horizontal end at L or R = Open like french doors. Handle vertical, end up = Open only at top, if you pull it will prop open only at the top hinge. We got the back of the hotel, our window looking at other windows, but it was so much quieter than having a view it was worth it. The water takes a long time to heat up but once it is hot, it is HOT. Pressure was awesome too. This hotel is perfect for people using public transportation. Less than 2 blocks away from Zoo Stn. Bike rentals @ Zoo...just fantastic. 1 wifi connex per device, so ask for as many as you will need at check in. The breakfast was too steep for our budget, we just waited till we were at the train station. I would not reccomend this place for business travel or if you have a car. But wouldn't hesitate to use it again if I were visiting Berlin on a holiday. Devamı

Old hotel but refurbished and near S line and U. Nice breakfast for price. Long flight of stairs to lobby problem with heavy luggage. Good value we had large room

The location is excellent!!! Trains, buses, Bauhaus Museum, Zoo and Tiergarten!!! The quality and price are good... but got a double bedroom and found two single beds put together =[

The hotel was not as advertised- online room pictures show a bright modern room with nice bathroom w/tub and glass enclosure. My room was not even close. Very old-furniture and carpet from the 70's, very small portable tv that did not work, very small bathroom with old shower stall. Friendly staff, room 219 doesn't have a view, looks to the back of the building above the restaurant. Small and cozy, but nice.

The hotel is located in a major shopping zone, close to a Christmas market. Our room was comfortable and clean. Some of the floors are creaky but it just adds to the ambiance. There is a wonderful breakfast buffet. The bad thing was the stairs. You have to climb a lot of stairs to get to the reception. Carrying heavy suitcases into the hotel was a  […] problem. Devamı

This is really a 2 star hotel and not a 3 star hotel. Rooms were clean, but service level and quality of hotel not as rated.

We stayed for 3 nights here and went over to Potsdam for conference. On the last day of conference, we decided to cancel the room in Potsdam and return here for our last night in Germany. Only because of it's location. It's very close to the bus station (to and from Tegel) and U/S Bahnhof at the Zoo. The U-bahn station is also a good place for a quick […] coffee+bread breakfast. And if you take 109 bus from Tegel Airport, there's one stop right in front of the hotel entrance. It's worry-free for first time visitor like me. Great location, near the "zoo" train station. Good tourist hotel. It had everything we needed. Don't miss the cake at the roof top coffee shop across the street. We enjoyed the "hop on hop off bus and picked it up just around the corner from the hotel.

The hotel is depressing and run-down, it was the only hotel I could find since there was an event in town that occupied many available rooms. They have no parking garage associated with the hotel, which was a major problem with my rental car. I had to put the car in a garage in the neighborhood, and then trying to get to my flight the next morning, […] found out that the garage was closed and locked, with no way of obtaining my car prior to my departure flight that morning. I asked the hotel staff to help me contact the garage business, but the hotel was extremely unhelpful, they refused to try and contact anyone who might be able to get the car out, and told me it was my fault for parking there (!). I could live with the rundown and generally dirty status of the hotel if the staff was helpful, but the downright rude and unhelpful staff ensures that I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Loved the location, right next to the U-bahn and everything.. Room was in good shape. But it sucked when it was >80 degrees. No ac and no fan. But otherwise, we'd totally stay here again.

Väldigt bra hotell med tanke på priset. Grymt läge, nära till tåg, bra frukostställen i närheten och shopping precis runt hörnet. Tummen upp!!

Centralt beliggende hotel. Er dog meget slidt - og madrasser bør skiftes ud . Man skal dog sørge for ikke at få et værelse tæt på morgenmadsrestaurant, da der er meget "trafik" og støj forbi værelset (102) - og der er meget lydt.

Oppholdet var helt fint. Tilfredstilte vårt behov.

Fint hotel til prisen. Madrasser har dog set sine bedre dage - bør udskiftes. Fik værelse tæt på morgenmadsrestaurant - og der er en del støj fra gangareal + porcelæn.

Fint hotel med gode rummelige værelser. Morgenmadsbuffeten er også rigtig fin - så et godt hotel til prisen.

Greit hotel, noe eldre inventar men rene, romslige rom, med fine bad. Vi hadde vinduer mot bakgården, som vi hadde oppe på natta - ble god luft på rommet og lite støy. Sentral beliggenhet ved shopping, sightseeingbusser og u-bahn. Vi spiste ikke frokost på hotellet, flere fine frokoststeder i nærheten. Velger gjerne dette hotellet på nytt.

Das Hotel liegt an der Ecke Kurfürstendamm/Joachimstalerstr. Damit ist es äußerst zentral gelegen und hat exzellente Anbindungen an alle öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel, ist direkt gegenüber eines Taxistandes und nur wenige Schritt entfernt vom Theater des Westens, dem Kaufhaus des Westens und dem Zoologischen Garten. Für einen City-Urlaub gibt wirklich […] keine bessere Lage. Leider gibt es aber auch immer eine Schattenseite: Wir hatten ein Zimmer direkt in Ecklage, und von daher war es - auch nachts - nicht immer sehr leise. Der normale Verkehr ist zwar bei geschlossenem Fenster nur noch als Hintergrundrauschen zu hören, aber manche Lastwagen und Motorräder machen ausreichend Lärm, um auch durch die geschlossenen Fenster noch deutlich hörbar (und störend) zu sein. Da wir beide einen sehr festen Schlaf haben und auch sonst nicht viel Zeit im Hotel verbracht haben, sondern eher unterwegs waren, hat uns das zwar nicht besonders gestört - lärmempfindliche Personen sollten aber vielleicht nach einem Zimmer nicht unbedingt in Ecklage fragen. Der Service, sowohl an Rezeption als auch fürs Zimmer, ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und konnten alle Fragen - auch die Stadt und die nähere Umgebung betreffend - sehr kompetent beantworten. Wieder ein kleiner Abstrich war, dass unser Zimmer zwar sehr groß, aber kaum möbliert war. Es fehlten deutlich Ablageflächen. Außerdem war bei unserer Ankunft eine der beiden Nachttischlampen defekt. Alles in allem haben wir unseren einwöchigen Aufenthalt aber sehr genossen und würden dieses Hotel jedem weiterempfehlen, der nicht zu empfindlich auf Verkehrslärm reagiert. Devamı

Bussi 109:llä pääsee Tegeliltä suoraan hotellin oven eteen. Yhteydet hotellilta joka puolelle kaupunkia erinomaiset. Porukallamme oli neljä huonetta, kaikki erilaisia. Yksi vasta kunnostettu moderni huone, toinen hiukan nuhjuinen entinen ullakkokaksio keittiökomeroineen, muut siltä väliltä. Veldig god beliggenhet! Vi var også fornøyd med frokosten. Noe eldre og litt slitt, men fornøyd siden prisen var rimelig.

Ligger perfekt, u-bahn lige ved siden af. Personalet var ikke Særlig serviceminded...

Absolut super für diesen Preis.Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Druckte Bahnverbindungen etc.sogar aus.Auch informierten sie uns bei Ankunft das die Bahnen und Busse den ganzen Samstag streiken.Sicher ist die steile Treppe zum Hotel -Eingang schwer begehbar mit Koffer.

Ikke egnet for handicappede

God beliggenhed tæt på alt. Dejligt stort værelse (205) med højt til loftet, men kun en lille radiator som ikke kunne følge med, derfor meget koldt. Der var badekar men ingen bundprop. Der var ikke gjort rent under sengen i lang tid.

Stort værelse, gamle møbler men fint, højt til loftet, stort værelse. Fantastisk beliggenhed lige ved Zoo Bahnhoff og Kurfurstendamm U-bahn station. Kombineret med Berlins effektive transportnet er byen nemt tilgængelig. Udemærket morgenmadsbuffet

Dejligt hotel med meget charmeret indretning. Perfekt beliggenhed hvis Berlin skal udforskes, da alle typer offentlig transport ligger tæt omkring hotellet.

Hotelli on tosi hyvällä sijainnilla, ilmainen internet on plussaa. Kokolattiamatto ja pikkuisen pissaiselta haiseva kylppäri ovat miinuksia. Kadun puoleisiin huoneisiin tulee jonkin verran yökulkijoista möykkää, mutta ei yöunta häiritsevää. Huone oli iso (2 h). Aamupala oli erittäin hyvä, joskin kallis. Hinta-laatusuhde kohdallaan. Azimut Kurfurstendamm on hinta-laatu -suhteeltaan ja sijainniltaan suositeltava hotelli. Vanha ja sokkeloinen talo. Ei sovi liikuntarajoitteisille. Puutteita huoneessa: - valaistus liian vähäinen = ei kattolamppua, pöytä/jalkalamput heikkotehoisia. - huoneen ja kylpyhuoneen seinissä ei riittävästi ripustuskoukkuja/nauloja

Topp service, beliggende midt i sentrum, og behagelige priser. Anbefales.

Hotelli oli kuvaukseksensa mukainen. Viihtyisä ja tunnelmallinen, mutta rakennuksen vanhuus näkyi ja tuntui. Talvisaikaan jotkin huoneet saattavat olla hieman viileitä ja jopa kylmiä. Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen, ja etenkin ostospaikkoja löytyy runsaasti läheltä. Aivan hotellin vieressä oli myös viihtyisä joulumarkkina-alue. Kaiken kaikkiaan siis […] hyvä hinta-laatu-suhde.
