Days Inn Fresno Ca - Fresno

If you have not been to Fresno I'd avoid staying on Blackstone. None of the hotels I've stayed at there have been any good. This place was a little run down and the man running the place seemed very apathetic. I noticed there were several families living here which contributed to quite a bit of noise. The room was clean, but the bed was not comfortable […] at all and the bathroom was rather not hotel worthy. It had mold up on the cieling and the shower head was so disgusting I refused to use it. Customer service was good. Heater/AC was not working.

Mattress was comfortable.-- every thing else was VERY shoddy. No what you expect from Days Inn. A bad room at any rate.

It was close to the Childrens Hospital and a very good price

a place to stay only if absolutely necessary. cheaper places nearby that could not have been too much worse. not a fair picture of central CA.

This place was a dump! Their were holes in the walls some of the furniture was broken. The room smelled like mold. Everything was dusty and the bath towels felt like sand paper.

Our motel was very well located to everything we wanted to do. It was a very quiet motel. We had a nice stay. The attendants were very courteous and helpful.

I've forgott my walet at the hotel. Called them soon after checking out but they didn't bother at all... The man that took my call said no before I had finished my question... Lost $90, id-card and credit card...

MY STAY AT THE DAYS INN WAS OK. I HAD NO PROBLEMS WHILE THERE AND THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE.I PLAN ON STAYING THERE AGAIN IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

This was the dirtiest hotel room I have ever stayed in - bathroom sink and tub were scummy - toilet did not work - all floors in the room were dirty. The only reason we stayed was because we had traveled so far and were so tired and needed someplace to sleep.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the facility wasn't. The mattresses were far too soft and I woke up with a back ache each morning. The bathroom had obviously been redone, and the designer should be forced to live in it! A new faux marble sink was installed which took up half the bathroom, actually overlapping the toilet slightly, (even […] my skinny son found it to be uncomfortable). The toilet itself was very small and reminded me of the type found in RV's. The showerhead itself somehow missed being replaced and kept falling apart when I tried to adjust it. I know Calif. law requires a water flow restrictor, but water pressure seemed even less than that. On the positive note, the room was large and otherwise comfortable. The entire facility was clean and quiet. I wouldn't stay there again, but if you're the type who doesn't care about a tight-fitting bathroom and enjoys soft mattresses, it's more than adequate. This hotel is close to the airport and covers all the basics, a no-frills, inexpensive stay.

Breakfast was poor to say the least. Pool was dirty and the area around it is not all that great, but it was inexpensive.

I was exspecting tit to be nicer since it was a Days Inn. Hotel is very ran down. Breakfast was pretty much nothing. Area where you eat was very dirty. They didnt give us clean towels or change our sheets. Not recommended!

I took my family to Fresno for the weekend to visit relatives. The room smelt awful and everywhere we stepped, it smelt like cigarette smoke. The halls were very damp and smelt of cigarettes also.

We have stayed at other Days Inn so this is specific to this hotel. We went to Fresno last minute to watch our son compete in CIF state cross country finals. This was such a bad experience, it was almost like a bad joke. Aside from the young man at the desk being so nice and the beds very comfortable, it was a nightmare. The room stunk like cheap air […] freshener so we had to go buy some Febreze. We were upstairs, so we left the window wide open the whole time we were there. It was 40 degrees outside. The heater only blew out luke warm air and smelled like burnt dust so we could not use it. the room was very dim. The cottage cheese ceiling was falling on the carpet. The bathtub faucet was running when we got there and there was no toilet paper and only 3 small towels and a few klenexes left in the box. There were 5 of us. The window was very dirty. there was one word of graffiti etched into the plastic heater cover which had a broken slat on it. Some type of gang looking writing whic I couldn't read. There were some unsavory looking people walking across the parking lot at times. The continental breakfast was very minimal. We couldnt wait to get out of there. We stayed out shopping at the local mall for as long as we could that night because we didn't want to be in that room and left as early as possible the next morning. This was the back building of the hotel. The rooms closer to the office did look a bit nicer. I've stayed in many hotels of similar status (Motel 6, Econolodge, other Days Inns) and this had to be the absolute worst experience ever. Devamı

It was just an over night stay

We were able to check in ahead of time. Staff was very accomodating and efficient. Everything we expected in the room was there and much more. This was a great experience and will always look at this hotel for any future reservations.

I had no problems, service was excellent.

The hotel needs a total makeover. Very old.

My first impression of this hotel was a homeless person going through the trash in front of the lobby. I entered the lobby to check in and the person behind the counter could not be bothered to get off his laptop long enough to talk to me. Once we were checked into our room, it only got worse. There was an odor throughout the room that could only be […] described as wet, moldy towels. There were pieces of food on the floor from previous guests and the towels in the bathroom had a large tangle of hair stuck to it. When I tried to check out the next morning, the person behind the counter was talking on his personal cell phone and never did hang up to speak with me. The "complimentary breakfast" consisted of an empty cardboard box with grease stains that I can only presume once held stale pastries. NEVER, EVER, EVER STAY HERE!!! Devamı

Well, it's a room with a bed and a lock, which is what's important if you just want a place to sleep and keep your things from getting stolen. There are worse hotels out there, but most using Hotels.com to book their hotel probably won't have stayed in one worse. The bed was broken, the carpet was filthy, and overall there was a shady feeling to the […] place. The staff were actually quite nice and helpful. The location is very good--central to a lot of places we visited in Fresno. The continental breakfast was very basic but nothing much to complain about. Devamı

great room for the money

Location, location, location!!! It was adjacent to the meeting I had the next morning however I knew nothing about the neighborhood therefore is was purely about location of the hotel. This area is HIGH crime with numerous "ladies of the night" out and about. In fact I believe there was one conducting "multiple transaction" in the adjacent room however […] after I took three sleeping pills I was dead to the world. I served its purpose howeve there is NO WAY I would book this place again. Devamı

A cheap hotel. I wouldn't recommend it if it wasn't for the low price. If you just want a hotel to spend the night - this is it

The only real problem with this motel was that I rather naively thought that any Days Inn would be located somewhere near Highway 99. There IS a Days Inn near 99 in Fresno...it just doesn't happen to be this one. Consequently, I was very glad I had my GPS with me. That said, the motel itself was fine. The room was big, quiet and comfy, with a nice, […] Southwestern decor. There was a beautiful pool, with nice landscaping around it (and plenty of shade, which is nice in the valley!). The motel is located on a main street, with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. People with mobility issues should be aware that there is no elevator (and I do have to say that the staircase felt a bit rickety), and folks who have become accustomed to the fancy waffles and eggs breakfast at some motels will want to know that this one only has pastries and cold cereals (still, that's more than a lot of the places we stayed at had). They do have free wireless internet, which is a plus when traveling with kids. I would stay here again if I happened to need to be in that particular part of Fresno, or if I couldn't find something as good or better for the same price nearer to 99. Devamı

The rooms are a good size and the area has plenty of places to go eat and shop. If you are planning to go for the "Pool" to relax is not as big as it appears in the picture.

While the room was clean and decent and the bed was comfortable enough, the front desk help was terrible. We had the bad luck to interrupt his lunch and had the pleasure of hearing him smack his lips and lick his fingers to have him tell us to come back later. It didn't seem like a safe neighborhood and they didn't seem interested in keeping "solicitors" […] from the property. Devamı

the only thing that needed improvement was the bed it had a huge hole in the middle (not litteraly) when we lay down on the bed we would actually roll to the center of it.

Hotel needs improvment, the complementry breakfast was not good & their was an older man that I guess owned the motel he was so rude. He didnt even want to give us extra towels & we got two rooms.....

El hotel estaba sucio

La situation de l'hôtel est plutôt bonne (restaurants, supermarché à côté), les palmiers donnent un air de vacances, mais le gros souci est la propreté de l'environnement... les abords de la piscine sont sales (serviette salle, bouteille d'eau, fruits séchés et collés, sont restés sur le sol douteux du tour de la piscine de notre arrivée à notre départ), […] l'état de la reception laisse aussi à désirer (un "bordel" sans nom, des miettes de gâteau partout)... Bref, il y a un beau paquet cadeau mais l'intérieur n'est pas terrible... Vu le nombre d'hôtels de la zone, préférez une autre adresse... Devamı

On s'interroge encore pour comprendre comment un hôtel de ce type peut recevoir des clients. Vieux, sale, bruyant. Dans de nombreux pays, il serait fermé pour insalubrité.
