Ramada Limited Springfield South - Springfield

Place is very old, needs to be updated. I had to make multiple trips to the front desk because the key didn't work for the room. I had to get a completely different room because of the lock problem. Go here if you are a heavy sleeper because the walls are very thin and you can hear what is going on in the adjoining room.

I couldn't access my I pad thru WI FII and the person at the front dest was utterly useless in trying to solve my problem I asked for an adjustment in my bill but all he did was stare at me ............................I definitely will not stay there again or use your service again......................................... TOTAL DISAPPOINTMET

Good deal for my overnight trip.

Management was very helpful and eager to make our stay comfortable. The hotel is situation very close to I-55 for easy on-off access. It is on the far south side of Springfield and only 5 minutes from the university. Downtown Springfield is a 15 minute drive so convenient for multiple purposes. It is a older hotel with few thrills but current management […] has worked to update. Having a mini-frig and microwave in the rooms is a nice touch. The indoor pool though not large, was very clean. The complimentary breakfast is standard fare but everything was fresh and when items ran out they were promptly refilled. While not a "high profile property" it was well worth the rate paid and we would consider staying here again. Devamı

I was content with my stay this a great value . The hotel could benefit from a remodel. the staff was helpful. The breakfast was not worth waiting for the area in which it was served was way to small. Coffee was not great on the weak side and food was not good. even the sweets were not great, and i do love my sweets.

This is a basic hotel that is OK if you are looking for something on the south side of Springfield. Fast food restaurants and Cracker Barrel nearby...Only complaint was that the plug did not work by the sink which made it very awkward to try and use hair dryer and coffee pot! Clean, cozy but not too small, comfortable, I liked the pool. Breakfast was great. Staff pretty nice, Pool clean, clean hotel. Good decor in room.Kinda Small but a really Nice stay.

If you don't need an elaborate hotel...this is one for you. Rooms are comfortable, it was very quiet and there are fast food and sit down restaurants close by. Easy on and off to 55, and great location if you need something on the south side of Springfield! I will stay here again. If I only had brought my own pillow! I found the pillows to be of poor quality and the matress too hard for my liking. The room and the hotel and staff were great and I will be back as I am frequently in Springfield for business.

Very friendly atmosphere. Rooms could be a bit more clean. Mainly the bathrooms need to be updated with new trim and chaulk. Pool was great during the winter time.

Room was clean and quite comfortable. Pleased to find a microfridge that worked well. Breakfast was above par and all staff quite friendly. Pool was small and water was too cool, but minor complaint compared to all that was good about this stay. I would strongly recommend it and will be returning myself.

I was worried about getting a 'cheap' hotel, because I was afraid of the conditions. SO, that's why I went with Ramada - - a very well-known chain. But this place was awful. There were two swim suits hanging on the back of the bathroom door. The toilet was stained. There was a dead spider on the wall. The tissue holder was rusty. There was paint chipping […] off the wall. Only two of the four lamps worked. I WILL NEVER STAY IN A RAMADA IN N AGAIN without checking it out first. Scheel was great biggest place I ever see was near inside the buildind

Nice stopover for our trip from MS to WI. Nice enough with frig and microwave to spend multiple days if on business our tourist. Will be using it in the future.

I recently attended my 45th. high school reunion, which was in another town, and it was an easy drive to the festivities. The hotel staff were pleasant, as was the room. It is an older hotel but well maintained. I not only would stay there again, I would recommend it.

I was really inpressed with the bed and the cleaniness of the room it came with a reclining chair,couch,table, and a refridgerator but the one bad thing is the refridge i dont think worked

Great Price for the room. Good Breakfast, swimming pool, convenient location etc... The pillow was the best I have ever slept on. For the price, great value.

THIS HOTEL HAS A NICE LOCATION. IT IS IN NEED OF A LOT UPKEEP

They need to have maintenace check the rooms more offen. Our toilet when flushed sounded like it was ready to take off. Jet planes were quiter than that toilet. Also housekeeping need to check the fridges after every guest leaves. We found old pizza in are fridge. Other that that is was pretty good.

My stay was good. The hotel is old but a very nice place to stay. I am not the type of person who needs to stay in a upscale hotel so this hotel fits my needs. I place that was clean, convenient, and quiet.

THIS IS DEFINITELY A 2 STAR HOTEL IF I HAD TO DO IT OVER I WOULD PAY A LITTLE MORE AND GET A BETTER HOTEL

I have one word to describe our stay at this hotel: LOUD! We read the reviews online and this sounded like the perfect place for us: nothing too fancy, good price, good location. It turned out to be VERY different from what we thought. Despite having Wi-fi, everything else in this hotel is extremely old and out of date. They didn't even have correct […] information printed in their information packet in the room! Restaurants they advertised no longer existed and their own check-out hours were incorrect. They also had very poor planning in assigning rooms. Our second night there, we were the only room on our floor not being used by a high school baseball team! We discovered this when we were woken up all through the next morning with these players getting breakfast and loading their gear up for the bus. The next morning we were awoken by the cleaning staff working in the hall right outside our door, despite having our "do not disturb" sign up. That same day our room was never cleaned because we had not taken the sign down until after the cleaners had already gone through the hall. Also, the bathroom only had two towels in it at a time-unusual for any hotel. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT stay here. There are other hotels in the same block that looked much more up-to-date, comfortable, and quiet. We will not stay in this hotel again. Devamı

The toilet leaked, the room was not clean, and my daughters that slept in the same bed ended up with itchy bumps all over their skin.

We arrived later in the evening, but the front desk attendant was very pleasant and helpful. The hallway smelled like smoke, but the room itself was clean and odorless. All in all, a perfectly serviceable stay.

Only complaint is that there was hair on the sink counter. Other than that, the room was decent and I appreciated the microwave and mini fridge.

WITHIN 5 TO 6 MILES OF EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO SEE IN SPRINGFIELD

My wife and I picked the hotel for location and price. Easy on /off to sites.However, like many hotels in this ecomomy they react to problems instead of having a good cleaning staff alerting them to minor issues. faucet not working do to an aerator($2.00 part) Having a micro/fridge but not plugged in due to not enough outlets.(a power strip would help) […] Couldn't plug in computer. I know these are minor but the attitude of the hotel was" we'll fix for you tomarrow." Start treating this like your home and these little annoyances would be delt with daily. Devamı

For the price, the hotel meets expectations. It's a little outdated, but it has all of the necessary accommodations. We found something in our room that should've been caught by housekeeping, something that I don't care to ever see again in a hotel room. The staff was friendly and helpful, however, and there were no noise issues.

Breakfast was only served until 9:30am, but the sign and the room said that it was served until 10:00am. So, needless to say we were very rushed to get something to eat in the morning.

The room smelled like mildew. Old carpet and fixtures...very disappointed.

Very disappointing hotel. Very dirty, vending machines out of most items, and hotel doesn’t smell good at all. I travel a lot and I won’t be back at this one!

Rates were great and the continental breakfast was pretty good too. The cleanliness of the room was pleasing and the front staff was courteous. Definitely recommended!

The motel was clean and met our expectations. The one feature I liked was the sofa and comfortable chair in the room. It was great to have two relaxing surfaces upon which to plant our tires bods. Whoever suggested the arrangement should get a raise.
