My name is Peter who come from the United States. I only stayed in the hotel for two nights, but my wife and I were deeply impressed by the service supplied by the people working there. I did have a wonderful stay in the hotel. People working there are very friendly and helpful. It made me feel it was like a home. I wish I will have another chance to […] stay in this hotel. Would never recommend this hotel...the location is not convienent but that was not the issue. The room was either freezing or hot, the staff was laxadasical and flaky, the remote didn't work, the telephone was broken, I had to call a total of three times to have a bottle of water via room service and to top it off the bathroom smelled like melting plastic. […] I would never recommend this hotel. I have stayed in about 20 different hotels in Florence and this was very bad. Pros: comfy bed, the villa was pretty, and you are in Italy. Devamı

It was so clean, beautiful, organazied, quiet and romantic. I loved everything about it. It was so close to the city centre that we didn't even need to get on the bus once to go to the sightseeings.

The hotel is situated in a nice area. Around 15 to 20 minute walk to all the sights. The hotel is 3 stars. Good breakfast. The front desk really didnt know what was going on and when i asked for an ironing board, they said they had only 1 for the hotel and it was being used. Not a 4 star hotel then. The room was old. Really glad we picked this hotel. Located in Oltrarno district on a beautiful tree lined street with similar villa style houses and a 25 minute leisurely walk to the Ponte Vecchio Bridge. We stayed 5 nights and after walking about with hundreds of other tourists all day in the city center it was a relief to get back to the hotel. The hotel is also located […] on the No.12 bus line which takes you up the winding hill to Piazzale Michelangelo. The hotel restaurant had great food reasonably priced (for Florence) and breakfast was a well stocked typical European continental breakfast. We particularly enjoyed having our coffee in the lounge after breakfast. The room was good sized and even had a crystal chandelier! Combine all the amenities with a friendly and helpful staff and you have the perfect location for a relaxing stay in Florence. Devamı

Located in a tree-lined, quiet neighborhood with an interesting walk to the major attractions, the hotel is classic European style: velvet furniture, chandeliers, flowing curtains, narrow spaces. The service is polite and professional if not terribly warm. When we first walked in, we weren't sure we had come in the right door because the front desk […] looks more like someone's cluttered office. After checking in, we were assisted by a porter to our room which was a rare occurrence for a hotel in this price range. Our double room had a chandelier, elegant albeit bland decor and was a bit disappointing at first - The hallway smelled bad, the toilet seat slid around, the air conditioning was ineffective, and the sink faucet sprayed sideways across the room. The unusual faucet handle, in which one pushed down to turn on and pulled up to turn off, made one's hand dirty again after washing. We expressed our concerns and respectfully asked for a different room. The manager very graciously showed us to a bigger room AND sent up a bottle of Prosecco. We were bowled over by the kind gesture. Although the smell never receded, the same style of faucet in the nicer room still made your hand dirty, and the air conditioning was no better, we enjoyed our view, free wi-fi, DVD player, and larger shower. (Had it not cooled down on that October day, we would have been very uncomfortable.) The concierge spoke English well and helped us get reservations at the major museums. Breakfast was your average European style: salami, cheese, hard rolls, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, croissants, assorted fruit, juice and coffee/espresso, nutella, jam, and toast. The dining room is pleasant and overlooks the patio garden. We would consider staying here again but only in the spring or fall when the weather is cool. What a find....! Old but very quaint...the service was excellent from the front desk to the Chef....he was fantastic! Met some interesting guests who made our stay fun...one older couple first visited the hotel 35 yes ago and knew the real Carlotta!....they just keep coming back....enough said!

This Is a great place tucked away from the busy town center yet very accessible. Its beautiful , comfortable, affordable and the staff was helpful to my needs. The A/C needed a little attention, but the days I was a there it was definitely very warm. This is a hotel I will recommend to all my friends

The Hotel Villa Carlotta is situated within walking distance to restaurants, shops etc, though you may need to have the concierge call a taxi for trips to the other side of the Arno, or when traveling at night. It's challenging to hail a taxi, so plan ahead. The entire staff was warm, gracious and always smiling. Breakfast was a vacation in itself, […] a way to start my day sipping frothy Italian coffees, gazing out the floor to ceiling windows while intermittently reading my favorite international papers. The servers pampered to no end, shifting easily from one language to another as guests arrived. Pretty pink linens, Italian china, and flowers graced every table, and the continental breakfast was the most extensive spread I've ever seen. Our room, though not five-star lavish, was very well-appointed with delicate antiques and a free in-room safe. Hand towels tended to be of the tea towel sort so, if you desire washcloths, you may need to inquire or pack your own. Still, larger terry towels were abundant and the water pressure in the shower head was terrific. We dined out, of course, and guests may dine in at the hotel restaurant, but we also loved perusing the local markets where we purchased delicious cheeses, meats, bread, wine, and fruit. The hotel went out of its way to make our "dining at home" experience romantic by setting us up on the veranda, providing us with linens, plates, silverware, wine glasses and an ice bucket. If you tend to use perfumes or hairsprays, use repellant when dining outside. It was June and the mosquitos were out in full force (wherever we went). The lounge areas were elegant and comfortable, replete with free Wifi. We checked email on our own computer but there is a hotel computer, as well, in the lounge/bar area. After long days of enjoyable sight-seeing, shopping, gelato tasting and dodging the Florentine scooters, we looked forward to our quiet, calm retreat at the Hotel Villa Carlotta. The hotel was nice and was located in a nice part of town. One problem was the air conditioner. They advertise that the hotel is air conditioned, but neither of the 2 rooms that we reserved had adequate air conditioning. The staff was very accomodating though and that made up for any problems.

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Carlotta. The only difficulty was finding it. We caution anyone going to Italy to become familar with the ZTL zones if driving a car. The Villa Carlotta has complimentary parking and a really lovely lounge and breakfast room. The dinner we had there was very good per a recommendation by Trip Advisor. This hotel is on the south side of the river near the Boboli Gardens. The area was gorgeous in spring with flowers blooming and pleasant greenery. The room was very clean, comfortable and faced the back. It has a large bathroom which is unusual in Italy. The weather was a little too cool for us to use the patio that faced the private parking lot in […] the back. We were about a 25 minute walk from downtown Florence (Uffizi, etc.), but the getaway to a quiet, beautiful neighborhood was appreciated--as was the ability to park our car. Hotel très agréable tant par sa situation dans la ville que par son côté intimiste et soigné. Dommage que les chambres soient un peu petites. Cependant, il y a ce qu'il faut à l'intérieur et cela est largement compensé par la qualité de l'accueil et le charme un peu désuet des différentes parties de l'établissement.

Hotel discreto, buon 3 stelle ma anni luce da un 4 stelle. Ottima la posizione e la presenza del parcheggio gratuito per le auto. La colazione è ridotta al minimo. La camera piccola ed il bagno stretto e con dotazioni al minimo dell'indispensabile.

Liegt ein bisschen ausserhalb vom Zentrum (10min zu Fuss). Die Zimmer sind ok, das Personal freundlich. Frühstück ist auch gut - Durchschnitt. Allgemein ein ruhiges, bisschen weg vom Tumult liegendes eher älteres Hotel. Zimmerpavillon ausserhalb des Hauses. Autoparkplätze vorhanden (Vorteil).

Es un excelente hotel mucho mejor ubicado de lo que imaginaba. Esta situado a tan solo 300 metros de la Puerta Romana, una de las entradas al centro histórico de Florencia. Por allí pasa el ómnibus turístico, el cual pueden tomar o hacer todo caminando. El hotel es una casona antigua, muy bien cuidado y ubicado en un hermoso lugar y muy tranquilo. Wir genossen einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Familienurlaub. Das romantische Villa Carlotta Hotel können wir bestens weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber trotzdem nahe bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Personal ist nett und zuvorkommend.

excellente situation pour visiter FIRENZE,personnel sympa, qui parle FRANçais,l'hotel dispose d'un restaurant,ce qui permet de ne pas ressortir,car la visite de florence est assez épuisante, l'hotel est à 20 mn à pieds du PALAZZO PITTi, et face aux jardins de BOBOLI,et dispose d'un PARKING,le restaurant sans etre un gastro, est correct, et pas plus […] cher que la moindre trattoria de FLORENCE !qui est un summum en europe pour les prix ! Hotellet var lätt att hitta till. Det var nära till centrum (20 min. promenad) och rent och fräscht i rummet. Trevlig personal i receptionen, de var hjälpsamma och artiga. Frukosten var bra, men det saknades t ex bacon och ägg. Ett prisvärt hotell.

O staff do hotel muito solícito, amáveis e dispostos a ajudar. O conforto do quarto excepcional, excelente qualidade de limpeza. O café da manhã era muito bom. O único incoveniente é por não estar tão próximo dos principais pontos turísticos, mas no demais é extraordinário. Grata

Insgesamt gut. Leider auf dem Schrank (darauf lag unser Koffer) und auf Heizkörpern (darüber hingen Handtücher) sehr viel Staub, der aber auf Nachfrage beseitigt wurde. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Je ne regrette pas d'avoir choisit cet hôtel. Personnel disponible et parlant le français. Les chambres sont décorées avec gout. Si j'ai l'occasion de revenir à Florence je n'hésiterais pas à prendre cet hôtel.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per sole 2 notti ma devo dire che mi sono trovata molto bene. Eravamo in 2 in una matrimoniale molto elegante e pulita. La zona in cui si trova l'albergo è molto tranquilla e per me che avevo l'automobile è stato perfetto anche perché l'hotel dispone di un parcheggio interno gratuito, e anche se pieno è possibile parcheggiare […] sul vialetto esterno. Il personale alla reception è stato cordiale e disponibile per informazioni di ogni genere. Mi sono dispiaciuta di non aver trovato una vasca da bagno come in foto..ma forse è stata colpa mia in quanto avrei dovuto specificarlo al momento della prenotazione. Per essere pignola...unico aspetto da migliorare è la manutenzione delle serrature delle porte! Lo consiglierei vivamente. Devamı

L'hôtel est situé à environ 15 min à pied du ponte Vecchio. L'endroit est calme et agréable. Le personnel est sympathique. Il y a un parking et l'hotel propose des vélos pour faire le tour de Florence. A partir de là, toutes les villes de Toscane sont facilement accessibles en voiture.

L'hotel è di recente ristrutturazione, è in una zona precollinare di firenze molto tranquilla ed elegante. Le stanze non sono molto grandi, ma per dormire qualche notte vanno bene. C'e' l'aria condizionata e la televisione in camera. C'e' un servizio WIFI incluso nel prezzo, ma la copertura è un po' approssimativa e lenta. La colazione è buona.
