Pullman Paris Montparnasse - Paris

Well, I was a frequent gest of the hotel, from 1995 and 2010, as it was very close to Montparnase, station, at that time, was Meridien. The diffrence is huge, in every way, very clean, and specially the service, at that time was lousy. Congratulation to the management.

My stay was very disappointing – I have been staying at what used to be Le Meridien (now Pullman) for the past few years and I must say what disappointment this hotel has become – not only the prices have doubled but if you count on any decent guest services – forget it . Also now you will have to pay for the breakfast buffet- it was included at the […] times of Le Meridien. This time when I arrived they gave me a room, although renovated, it smelt of mold – they changed it for another one, also renovated, but I could not get the shower to work properly so I called the guest services many times and requested that someone come and take a look. I waited until 1:00 am but no body showed up – I then had to take a shower using the hot water pot, like in the middle ages- it was surreal considering the room price . The next day I called again, twice, finally they showed up. As if this was not enough, at the time of check out I find out that I was billed for someone else’s laundry. I complained so they removed it although the lady told me that she could not trace the mistake. So here we go, stay at your own risk . I really miss the Meridien times Devamı

We both feel that the hotel room was not that good the reasons are as follows 1. The bath was too high to get in and out of and it had no non- slip section. 2. The wardrobe was extremely hard to use to shelving section and the doors too heavy to move. Stayed for one night at the beginning of June. Nice hotel close to good metro links and the tour montparnssse. Tea/coffee tray in the room was a pleasant surprise and would stay again.

Couple small issues that should be addressed by staff: lavatory fixture loose requiring minimal attention. Housekeeping should have notified maintenance as it is an issue that should have been addressed months ago. No indication of messages unless you specifically looked for them on television. I arrived very late at night. The reception team was helpful, polite and friendly. The room was quiet, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Perfect for my flying visit.

The hotel was in a good location close to the train station, restaurants and shopping. The room was large, clean and comfortable. It was not close to the main attractions of the city. Montparnasse is a little further out of town than we're used to but the hotel is just a short walk from the station so no trouble carting luggage. It is more like a business hotel aka enormous with a slightly souless bar - but it also has the benefits. Service is very efficient, decor very smart and the place is as clean as a whistle. Breakfast is a […] bit mad owing to the great masses dining but food was fresh and tasty. The staff work hard to keep everything running smoothly. We were on the 23rd floor with a spectacular view of the city (not that there was anything recognisable in the view) plus we were upgraded. Looking for a reliable modern fuss free accommodation, We were three of us friends so we were offered a room with, what they called, two double beds. Sounded perfect, so we made a fully prepaid, non refundable booking on Hotels.com. At some 900 plus rooms, this Pullman is a factory! Runs like a machine, and wants you to be one also! Pros: Very neat, […] clean and no fuss. All modern ameneties, decent bath, kettle, ice making machine on floor. Nice breakfast spread!! Cons: Totally non personal, stand in a queue for everything: checkin/checkout/breakfast. You are just a number in 900 to attend to. Double beds were actually Queen sized beds, big for one and small for two. So we shifted and joined them, and whoever was in the center joint woke up with a backache! Totally, and as they say strictly non-smoking. When we requested for a smoking room, they regretted availability and informed us of a Euro 300 fine if any of us took the liberty of lighting up in the room!! Had we not prepaid, would have cancelled our stay at that point. Overall: If you can pay upwards of $ 300 to subject yourself to their "rules and regulations", don't mind standing for 15 min queue for breakfast or for checkins/checkouts, then a neat/decent/convenient but forgettable place to stay in this most beautiful city of Paris! Higher floors have fantastic city views, though no Eiffel Tower view. Devamı

We were very happy when we arrive at the hotel. The room were spacious and the bed is comfortable. I came to paris last december but the hotel i stay in opera was very small and this is the best choice. I will definitely choose to stay in this hotel when I come to Paris.

Hotel lobby is undergoing much needed renovations. Renovated guest rooms and baths are much larger than I had anticipated, very nice, excellent beds, and very sound proof rooms. Breakfast in the Justine restaurant is much better than being seated in the overflow room. Lunch at the Justine lunch buffet was excellent, but beware of very expensive beverages […] in this restaurant. Lines for Concierge were long, and I was not pleased with some of the mis-information I was provided by the concierge regarding local tours. Received incorrect information twice, which greatly inconvenienced us as our stay in Paris was not long enough to make up the time we lost due to the Concierge error. We love this hotel for several reasons. 1st: Location was great because Air France airport bus (line 4) stop just in front of hotel. 2nd: Breakfast was fantastic.. I travel extensively and I highly recommend the Pullman Paris Montparnasse. The hotel itself is very well located right across the street from the Montparnasse train station and from the Air France airport suttle bus. Montparnasse iteself is a good, central location with lots of restaurants and a highly animated ambience. You can walk from here to St. […] Germain du Pres, (if you like to walk) and other areas. The lobby is a bit drab, however the rooms are bright, very spacious, well appointed, very clean, and the bathroom is luxurious by French standards. The beds were very comfortable with nice duvets, extras cushiony pillows, and we happend to have a regal view of Paris from the 10th floor. Everything was simply great! This is not exactly a criticism since it seems like a going trend in Europe ( we have seen elevated tubs in many European countries) but I suggest not to make bathroom tubs so high. Overall our experienced was very good, very friendly and helpfull staff. My only complain is that the toilet area in our room did not have heat and the toilet seat was always extremely cold.

The Pullman Paris Montparnasse was a great hotel experience! The beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable! The staff was attentive and helpful! We truly enjoyed our stay! The location is a bit out of the way of the major sites, but not too much of an issue with the metro and bus stop close by! Would definitely stay here again!

It's a great place to stay if you fly in from Orly, the Air France bus drops you off outside the hotel at Gare Montparnasse. Lovely room, ever so slightly disappointed with level of cleanliness. There was cheese and ham left in the fridge from the last occupant and also a cotton bud behind the bed. Other than that I would highly recommend it, lovely […] breakfast, free wifi, great bar. Lovely rooms, fabulous breakfast. Great location to stay and explore Paris from. We stayed in room 2214 which had the best views of Paris. Would definitely stay here again as its a good location. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants nearby too.

We came to Paris for our 30th anniversary in February 2013, and chose the hotel because reviews said the rooms were big for a European hotel. We had two super-comfortable double beds, big screen TV, a mini fridge, and a great bathroom. We were in room 421, and there was an ice machine nearby (we didn't care about having a view.) There's a food market […] next door for snacks and drinks. We didn't eat at the hotel, but the cafe always looked busy. One of the concierges, Alain, was a tremendous help several days. The neighborhood is really nice and pretty and safe and not so touristy. There are movie theaters nearby, and brasseries and restaurants. We happened upon Le Falstaff pub and it was such a cool little place with great beer with a younger crowd. There is a huge bus/train/Metro station across the street. We went all over Paris from there on the Metro (also clean, nice, and safe), and rode the train from there to Versailles. A Galeries Lafayette mall is very close. The Tour Montparnesse (skyscraper) is walking distance, and supposedly has a fabulous city view and a restaurant on top. Our favorite restaurant was La Rotonde, which was walking distance. We had drinks in the hotel bar a couple of nights, and one night they had a fabulous piano player entertaining. It was usually busy with business people attending conferences. Everyone was lovely to us and most everyone spoke English. Loved the hotel, the location, and Paris! Devamı

Excellent modern business hotel with an attentive staff. The hotel is immediately opposite to the Air France airport bus stop. The views of Paris from our 21st floor room were amazing. The only downside to British guests is that there are no coffee and tea making facilities in the rooms.

We found it very conveniently located near Gare Montpernasse, and just across the street from the Air France bus which we used for transfer to and from CGD airport. Rooms seem to be best on one side of the hotel than the other. I have stayed around 5 times now as it is close to where i work and get the feeling that the more modern rooms are on the business side. Breakfast could be better but the beds are amazing!

Nice hotel, good location. Good value on booking with Expedia together with flights. Very close to metro and short hop for RER stops for access to trains to take you to and from CDG. Good sized room. On 9th floor, and didn't have to wait too long for lift (despite previous reviews). Only criticism was that the bulb was blown in the bedside lamp.
