The Westbury Hotel - Dublin

The westbuty Hotel Dublin is comfortable, luxurious and friendly. They think everything. The coffee machine in the room was first class and there was n endless supply of coffee, and tea making materials. I can recommend the superior room. Quality chocolates on the turned down bed. A white linen cloth mat by the bed to step on to and towelling slippers […] in their plastic package for the use of guests. Even an umbrella, shoe horn and weighing scales in the room and to hand when required. All in all, a great hotel with friendly staff and a wonderfully central location. Wonderful hotel. Perfectly located. Concierge could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Would recommend without any hesitation

Make sure you don't get a room near the lifts - can be noisy when the late night revellers return ! The walls between the rooms seem very thin. Cleaning staff hoovering the next room at 8am on a Saturday is a bit much. Very positive overall. The staff are lovely, the hotel itself is beautiful & classic. A pre-dinner drink in the lounge area is a must. […] We didn't eat in the restaurant but the menu looked really nice. It's a perfect location to explore Dublin's city centre. Devamı

I enjoyed my stay at The Westbury. On arrival, I noticed the bathroom tap in my hotel room was leaking and I mentioned it to the concierge. The problem was rectified within minutes. Room service full irish breakfast was amazing. Staff were really helpful and friendly. the service the cleanliness and the food were all one woud expect in a hotel of this quality...the negatives if there are any were minor...no dresser in the room so no room to store your shirts and other folded items, and a small health club.....I would definitely stay there again

First room was rather dated with a stained quilt, and the heating wasn't working so the room was freezing. We were moved to a slightly smaller, more modern room which was better, but not 5 stars. Views from both rooms were of scruffy rooftops, but that's city living for you! Location was great, but the parking (€20) was a little pricey.

I stayed at this hotel a weekend in january. I was travelling with my brothers daughter. We had a very nice shopping-weekend and really enjoyed the luxury atmposhpere at the Westbury's. The hotel has a perfect location just off-Grafton Street. We found the staff very friendly and correct. Our room was spacious and very comfortable.

My wife and myself enjoyed our stay. Beautiful hotel, centrally located in Dublin but expensive. Buffet Breakfast for 2 was lovely but at E50 a tad expensive I thought. I would recommend the hotel but be prepared to spend quite alot if you intend eating or drinking in the hotel. Having said that it is a 5 star. Westbury has a great location in the center of Dublin. McDaids Pub is right outside the front door. Good all around hotel but can be pricey. We got a good rate after New Years.

This hotel was in a great location! You could walk to most sights in Dublin and it wasn't too far from the airport as well. My biggest complaint was the noise level in the rooms. The doors are paper thin and you could hear every conversation word-for-word in the hallway. I had to open the door and ask people if they could keep it down or go to their […] room at least 2 times a night. The hotel staff was even extremely loud and chatty around 6am as they were beginning to clean rooms. That shocked me! We were half way down the hall and still had a difficult time sleeping with all the noise. We could also hear noise from the street, but that was to be expected since we were only on the second floor. They also forgot to refill our coffee almost daily. They would bring us refills after we called down, it was just a slight hassle. The location was so good, I might considering staying here again though... Before I arrived I was informed by a relative staying in same hotel that there was a wedding going on and so it would be noisy on the 2nd floor (they had to endure this with another wedding on the previous night with the party going on immediately below them). Despite trying to prebook a room on a higher floor this was not possible. When we arrived […] we were informed there was only a twin, rather than a double, on the 6th floor, which we took (this was very quiet). The next day we were moved back to the second floor. Neither of the rooms I stayed in had normal tea. They had lemon tea, camomile tea, jing sun hoo tea, etc. but no normal tea - in the middle of Dubin, Ireland! When we rang to get some delivered it took 90 minutes and a second phone call - both nights. Complimentary breakfast was available (nice touch) but we arrived too late on first morning as reception didn't inform us when it ended. TV remote control is rubbush. Let's say, to select channel 25, you might think you would press 2 then 5. No: you press 2, then the TV changes to channel 2, but then displays 2- on the screen. Then press the 5 to complete the sequence. Fortunately, I'm a techie type so can work this out. Location is wonderful, and perhaps I'm expecting too much from a 5* hotel, but I feel things should work much more smoothly. I don't think some of the staff are adequately trained in 5* service. On a snowy dublin night, this hotel was a god send. Ideal for shopping and once the days shopping was done, ideally suited for evening meal and a few pints.

Amazing location, amazing room. This is truly a 5 star hotel.

I've been to Dublin 7 times on holiday. The Westbury is hands down the best location, comfort, service, and overall experience of any hotel I've stayed in while in Dublin. You can't ask for a better location both in terms of convenience and beauty. Walk out the door and you are in the center of Grafton St. The rooms were posh, beds super-comfortable, […] staff helpful, facilities top notch. We have stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions in the past and have never been disappointed. The staff are always helpful and friendly and the atmosphere from the minute you enter the foyer is one of calm and luxury. Bedrooms are large and very comfortable, spotlessly clean, with 2 robes, a mini bar, lovely glasswear, huge flatscreen TV, FREE wifi […] access which is a big bonus, and gorgeous Aqua de Parma toileteries in the bathroom. Even in the public toilets off the foyer the toileteries are Molton Brown. We felt pampered for the weekend. The Westbury Hotel just exudes luxury, comfort and class - can't wait to go back

Excellent location , very friendly staff and execellent room...it has desevered every single star it is rewarded. very pleasent experince from start to finish . you even have your own esspresso mechine in the room . i would recomend this hotel to everyone ....

This is a great hotel. It has a very dedicated staff, the facility is kept in excellent condition, the food is acceptable (this is Ireland after all) and the location can't be topped.

Great, great, great. Even bumped into Dr. Cox from Scrubs in the Bruxelles bar next door. Right in the heart of everything. Excellent.

I have stayed in the Westbury just a handful of times and reserve it for times when I really need rest and relaxation. This was a business trip and I needed to sleep. Unfortunately a new pub/club has opened nearby and every night I was awakened by loud music and voices. Reception tell me they are trying to sort this out but it was little consolation […] really. It's still a great hotel but I won't be back until they have the noise problem sorted out. Check with them before you book. If the noise isn't an issue, you couldn't get a better location or nicer staff. Devamı

Spent only 4 days in Dublin and stayed at The Westbury. The rooms were big for a city hotel, clean sheets daily, comfey beds and wonderful staff. We would definitely stay at the Westbury again!!

This hotel was right off Grafton Street which is full of restaurants, pubs, shopping and entertainment. The hotel was clean, the beds extremely comfortable and the staff very friendly.

This was a short break for me and my husband we went mid week , I was very impressed with the westbury hotel, it's location is right in the heart of Dublin, plenty going on all around the hotel, but no noise when in your room and we were right on the front. Everything was perfect!

My family and I spent three nights in the Westbury, and did a lot of walking around Dublin to see the sights. We found the Westbury to be very centrally located. The staff was very helpful too. A nice, upscale hotel that we enjoyed very much.

The Westbury will live up to your expectations. I stayed there for just one night last week and feel as though I've had a holiday. The service was excellent. The ice machine in the hall was out of order and on ordering a bucket of ice from room service, received it 3 minutes later! My room was a standard double and just lovely, beautifully decorated, […] quiet and calm and impeccably clean. Service in the lobby was slow for drinks that evening but worth the wait. we all give our credit cards at check-in, so no surprise there; but I look at my online banking daily and I was surprised to see a 200 euro charge from the hotel the morning after I checked in, especially as I had paid four nights in advance and had charged less than 50 euro since arriving. This turned out to be a "pre-authorization" of 50 euro per […] night, which I had not encountered before and which had not been explained at check-in. It's policy, according to management, but it's insulting to guests to treat them as potential deadbeats; they're taking no chance you won't pay your credit card. So I deduct rating on that account; otherwise it's a beautiful hotel experience if you like deferential treatment. The food isn't that great, and the morning croissants a little stale, but the coffee service is elegant, as is the decor. It felt to me they were trying too hard, but there's an espresso machine and 3 phones in the room and the location can't be beat. Devamı

Situación inmejorable. Habitación amplia, limpia, múltiples detalles (agua, bombones, nespreso...gratis en la habitación y repuestos cada día). Pasan 2 veces a hacer la habitación por si tienen que reponer toallas, agua. Personal pasa desapercibido salvo cuando se les necesita.

Die Bedienung ist freundlich, aber das Hotel ist sehr veraltet und schlecht erhalten

Hotel centralissimo: abbiamo visitato tutto a piedi, tranne lo stadio Aviva, Hotel molto bello nei luoghi comuni. Camera e bagno belli e molto puliti. Letti molto confortevoli. Personale della Reception molto gentile. Servizio in Hotel molto buono. Fra første øjeblik vi trådte ud af taxaen foran hotellet blev vi mødt af fantastisk venlige og rare hotelfolk. Servicen var i top. Folk var utrolig rare. Beliggenheden er helt fantastisk. Området minder lidt om soho i london - bare med færre mennesker. Vi vender klart tilbage til westbury hotel...

Tres bonne emplacement, en plein cœur du centre ville, personnel très serviable.

Das Hotel hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage Mitten in der Innenstadt. Auch das Ambiente, die Zimmer etc. sind zu empfehlen. Einziger Minuspunkt: Es gibt nicht genügend Frühstückstische, weshalb es zu längeren Wartezeiten kommen kann (selbst erlebt an einem Sonntag). Wer das nicht einplant, kann enttäuscht werden. Oppholdet ved Westbury var en særdeles positiv opplevelse. Man ble ønsket velkommen av en utrolig service innstilt stab som tok vare på oss hvert eneste minutt vi befant oss på hotellet. Det eneste negative ved å velge dette hotellet er at det tidvis KAN være vanskelig tilgjengelig med taxi på dager det sentrale Dublin er sperret av, f.eks som under […] Dublin Marathon.
