Upon entering room, The room was dirty, we did not even have a toilet paper holder,our pillows did not have cases. After leaving the hotel for the day we came back to find the bathroom had not been clean, the shower would not drain because of the build up and our sheets for our beds were taken but not replaced. Great place in Va. Beach very affordable, spacious and nice family resort.

The Staff at this hotel were AWESOME!!!! They understood our concerns and changed our room when our problem started. Don't go to this hotel when there are conventions. People were outside in the hall cursing and yelling. FRAT parties are RUDE young peope and cause me to worry about our future adults.

This hotel is at a great location on Shore drive. While the rooms were clean they are VERY outdated. The couches and carpet were stained and there was a VERY heavy "air freshener" smell throughout. The staff were friendly but were either new or didn't know much about the hotel. Overall it was just an okay place to stay.

Suggest asking what conferences are going on in the hotel at the time you book. We stayed over a weekend when the hotel was packed with people wanting to get in touch with the 'afterlife' and having seances. It was REALLY weird. The hotel guests were trying to reach out to ghosts everywhere....not at all a good environment when you're looking to relax […] or have a quiet weekend away from it all. The front desk personnel was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely as well as our balcony view of the bay.

The hotel overall needs a face lift. The capet in my room was very worn, didn't want to walk on it barefoot... The bed was comfortable. The staff is not very helpful and the tray I orderd from room service the night before was left in the hall until noon the next day... I was disappointed with the overall stay.

The Virginia Beach Resort Hotel was a great place to stay from beginning to end. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, service was first class all the way. Our two bedroom suite was spacious, well-appointed, and exceptionally clean. The only improvements I would suggest would be possibly adding flat screen tvs and it would have been […] nice to have two bathrooms as opposed to just one. We required a taxi to go approximately 1.5 miles from the hotel and not only did the lady at the front desk remember my name after a very busy day for them, she offered to have the valet take us in the hotel shuttle van at no charge. I was dually impressed that she was able to call me by name and offer us a ride to avoid having to wait for a taxi. Our stay was excellent and we will definitely return to this hotel. Also as a side note, the hotel has an excellent Sunday brunch. Hats off to the Va Beach Resort for making our romantic getaway a huge success! Devamı

My room was very out dated and not very comfortable, for a with hotel with three/four stars. The wifi was not free and the TV was very old. I think it was an analog. Saturday was very noisy. The noise from other guests were unbearable and lasted way past 4:00am. I called down to front desk regarding this and evenly knocked on the door. I complained […] to the front desk and was only offered a voucher for another stay. I would not stay at this hotel if they were the only one standing. I was very excited about my stay at the Virginia Beach Resort after seeing it online. I couldnt wait to relax and enjoy my stay. I arrived early and was able to check in right away this made me very happy.At the check in counter I reserved a cab ride with them for the following day. When Arriving downstairs for my cab ride I was informed they were no […] longer going to take me were I needed to be in 30 minutes. When I asked why I was blew off and told they were taking someone else somewhere. I was also ver upset to discover the AC was not working in my room and the hot water was messed up. For us the hotel was convenient because we had an activity to attend right there. The hotel is kind of worn, over rated, and over-priced for this area. If you are going to this part of Virginia for the Beach this hotel is not on the ocean, it's on the bay side close to the Naval Base and the Port. The real Virginia Beach is far...a few miles south-east […] of there. Also, there are no nice restaurants in the immediate area with the exception of the hotel services. Devamı

Truly enjoyed my stay. People were friendly, late check out, Sunday Brunch was great, room was cozy (carpet a little dirty), view to ocean was excellent.

service very slow in tradewinds - food average and prices high. front desk staff and coffee bar staff very pleasant and friendly.

The Hotel was great, very clean and the size of the room was huge . The staff was very helpfull and nice. The Hotel was away from the Hotel area and boarwalk but for me and my family was a great thing because we dont like to be around a lot of noice specially if you want to have quiet and peace. Lovelly.

i was charged 3 times normal for room righ next to elevators, beds are too small. room srvice sucks. no sleep whole night as room right next to elevator. room has ants all over , as my kids enjoyed played with them.

I'm a Va Beach native who now lives in NJ. I travel back home often to see family, but I have never stayed in the VB Resort & Conf Center before. My wife and I were very impressed. Great location on Shore and Greatneck, just minutes from the Chesapeak Bay B-T. Hot Tuna's is across the street and CP Shucker's is a minute west on Shore Dr. Also, Kokomos […] is in walking distance down Greatneck. If you're not familiar with any of the above 3 places, then you're missing out on great food and great entertainment. We loved that this was a local hotel and not a chain. Beautiful bay view. The biggest plus was the room size. We had two doubles when you walked into the room and then a suite area on the other side (bay side) with a nice size bathroom separating the areas. The lounge area was very spacious and there was a kitchen set-up. Oh, and a balcony with a 2-top patio set. Also, the shower had plenty of pressure and was high up enough that my head (6 ft tall) didn't hit the shower head (important). The deal we got on Hotels.com was $95/night, which I couldn't believe. Everything about this hotel was convenient -- very close to Lynnhaven Inlet and the CBBT for fishing. That's the only reason why I came to VA Beach during the off-season. Considering everything, great location, marginal hotel, at best. Dishes from room service left outside rooms for 4 hours or more at a time, regularly. Large room, by very poorly appointed, been to a Motel 6 with better furniture. Bad parking, lame staff.

No indicators from site shared that this location was on Chesapeake Bay and not Virginia Beach. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. Air conditioning broken and then repaired on day 2, just told it could take a while to kick in...it never did. Room was filthy, bad carpet stains, dusty and in need of major rennovation. Just old and kind of dingy. Crappy linens, uncomfortable beds, uncooperative elevators, no free internet in rooms. It appears they are way more interested in the group sales aspect of the business, such as weddings and family reunions, and this also means that there is a quite a bit of noise in the hallway well into the night -- and this is from someone […] who is not usually bothered by that stuff. This hotel was so much more than expected. The room was much larger than I expected. Bedroom had 2 beds. There was a separate area that consisted of a fridge and microwave plus living room area. there was a pull out sofa bed which actually gave you 3 total beds. Private balcony overlooked the ocean. There is an indoor/outdoor pool that is open 24/7 along with the hot tub and sauna. Free bike rentals provided upon request. The location is great; beach front. However the hotel is old and not well kept. For example, the rooms were outdated , probably last renovated in the late 80's, which shows in the condition of beds and other furniture. They did renovate the small kitchenette which is helpful but the bathroom, bedroom and rest of the room is in bad shape. It does have […] the beach right in front which is great. While we have stayed near the boardwalk and main Virginia Beach before, we highly enjoyed the Chesapeake Bay Area. The sunsets were lovely. Seeing all the ships alight at night upon the bay from the poolside was just devine. Really enjoyed the surroundings and gentle waves of the Bay. Close to action yet quiet and relaxing place to stay.

We were in Va. Beach for a soccer tournament. The Travel agency booked us in a Ramada Limited in Norfolk, That hotel was TERRIBLE!! this hotel, however, was PERFECT!! Views of the Bay, Indoor / outdoor pool, Beach access to the Cheasepeak bay. Beautiful views of the bay, pleanty of onsite parking. Close to downtown, would stay there again in a hear […] tbeat. Selected this hotel due to its location, very near a good friends home where we go each year for a long weekend and small reunion with small group of others. The hotel is dated, soundproofing inadequate, and noisy guests due to multiple large groups that stay there for weddings, reunions, etc. Beds worn out, and not even a pen and scratch pad in the […] room. They charge for WIFI - Water pressure in the shower inadequate. Hot water lacking. Cold water for drinking not very cold. Water issues may be better on lower floors, we were on upper floor. We had to vacate the pool area due to a violent lighting storm, and clothing items we had to abandon there were lost by staff, and not recovered. They advertise outdoor dining on the covered deck, but in reality, this is unavailable in the summers on weekends, as they have multiple weddings each day. They close off the outdoor dining to hotel guests when these are scheduled. Their focus seems to be more on these events than the hotel guests. Pool area cleanliness lacking, no supervision or lifeguard to monitor behavior of kids/teenagers. On positive side, food in restaurant was good, and access to beach and pool from the hotel is nice. Primary reason to stay there was this hotel's location, in relation to our destination. Devamı

The Hotel is not far from the Cheasapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel, very nice view of the Bay and Ships and Boats go by. Supermarket across the way so people can buy their foods needs. Room service is great. The pool is 24/7 so if in the middle of the night want to take swim you can. They jet ski and sailBoats. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel is. While not on the main drag of VA Beach, it is right on the water, with a nice beach area, and has indoor and outdoor pool areas. It's a short drive to Atlantic Avenue if you want to go there in the evening to eat, walk around the shops or go on rides. The rooms were spacious if you go with a family […] - good sized family room/kitchenette area with tv. Two double beds were ok, but the mattress pads need upgrading to the fitted kind. My only complaint would be that the carpet needs replacing badly. If I had small children, I wouldn't let them crawl or sit on it. Bathroom was clean. While the location is convenient to groceries, it is hardly a resort. Rooms are run down, linens were dirty, coach needed replacing, and parking is a total disaster. There is no one monitoring the parking so beachgoers crowd the lots - and spaces are so small, odds of car damage are high.
