The Ritz-Carlton, Denver - Denver

Stayed at this property with 3 other girls for a ladies trip to Denver after staying in Vail for a week. We were very impressed with the service of the staff. Everyone we encountered was very helpful and friendly and made our stay a pleasant one. The hotel is only two blocks away from 16th St and they have a house car to take you anywhere within 5 […] miles to explore downtown Denver. Only con was the condition of the spa. We went later in the afternoon (2 hours before closure) and we were told we would have to pay a $25 fee to use the whirlpool/steam room, even though we were guests of the hotel. While the spa is nice enough, it was not luxurious enough to warrant a fee for usage. The whirlpool felt tight with only 4 women inside and the steamroom was equally as small. Standard room was well appointed and bathroom was spacious enough for 4 women to comfortably get ready for a night out. All in all, a pleasant stay at the Ritz-Carlton Denver. Devamı

The rooms are wonderful with great beds & huge bathrooms. The hotel location is very convenient to great dining and entertainment in Denver. As with every Ritz Carlton, the service is exceptional!

Hotel is very nice, employees too. It is getting dated and could use a "re-vamp" to compete with other hotels in area. I liked this hotel but will try another one because I like modern hotels but it's all personal preference. Really liked the work out area.

I have staying in a ton of high end hotels, but have never had such a wonderful stay. The room was magnificent and the staff was superb. If you are looking for a little getaway, do yourself a favor and stay here. Be sure to book on the club level. It's a little extra money but totally worth it. All I can say is... if you haven't experienced the Ritz then you haven't really lived. The service from the moment we dropped the car at valet until we left to go home was amazing. The room, the bed and the bathroom were above and beyond what we expected. My wife never wanted to leave.

We stayed one night for Black Friday. The mother-in-law came unexpectedly, and they upgraded to an adjoining room for a VERY reasonable rate. THANK GOODNESS! It was a great location. There was Elways in the hotel, that also served as a great sports bar with an unexpectedly long and low priced happy hour. The bartender was a sports trivia brainiac. THis was a terrific experience from the time I arrived to the time I departed. Ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen (some more than others in my experience in Denver). But this hotel was absolutely a delight in every respect. Well appointed, tastefully furnished and warm welcoming staff at every turn. Absolutely loved the hotel and all the amenities, but was a little shocked to find out the breakfast for four is only a $40 credit and trust me, four of you cannot eat breakfast for $40 at the Ritz. Your choices are either room service or Elways. At a minimum you'll end up spending $20 each for a no frills breakfast! So, skip this option when booking […] your room! Devamı

Loved the hotel and the spa was fabulous. Only wish there was on site parking, valet overnight was very expensive.

Everybody was very friendly and addressed us by our names from the moment the valet asked us our names until check out. Everything was first class, from the rooms to Elways Restaurant in the hotel. I created a great staycation getaway for my wife and I.

Incredible level of service - truly an outstanding hotel experience is every way.

Impeccable service in a classy environment. Not overwhelmingly modern or contemporary like many Denver 5-star and boutique hotels. The hotel was quiet in the evening, but Elway's was bustling and the place to be seen. Overall a fantastic experience.

We went just for a night to stay downtown with our daughters. Place was fine and mostly as expected. A few little glitches, such as: (1) forgetting to put robes in the room, then bringing us twice as many as we needed; (2) restricted hours of swimming pool and limitation on kids access/use; (3) giving us the wrong bill when we checked out so I had to […] call when we got home to clear it up. Expected better from a top-notch hotel at top shelf prices, but the basic comfort and service was very nice. Staff was solicitous almost to a fault. I don't need to be greeted by every employee at every encounter from across an empty lobby. Maybe some people do, but I found it a bit awkward and forced. Devamı

We were well received and had a great stay. The service level was top shelf. We traveled with a two year old and they would accommodate any of our requests. We highly recommend this hotel and the location was very convenient to several Denver venues that we visited during our stay.

Outstanding service

Wonderful. Will stay again. Very kid-friendly. The shuttle, front desk and the doorman were awesome. Can't wait to come back. The shuttle took us everywhere we needed to go. The room was so comfortable and clean.

A five star hotel.

very nice hotel, great resturant. More for business then lesiure not much to do if your a shopper. Cherry creek mall- wonderful, but only one. Freedom cab is horrible, i was scared.

The hotel itself is awesome: clean, beautiful, classy, very elegant, great sleep! The neighborhood is big-city, with the bus station right out back (somewhat undesirable area). But it is central to everything downtown, especially Coors field. Service was our biggest complaint. Seems as if the staff does not care whether they have a job or not; they […] did not take our bags, or even offer to take our bags. I was there with my 75yo mother and I had just had surgery. I guess my husband looked like he could handle all our bags. There was no one there to help me get my mom's luggage in the car at 5am so that she could get to the airport, as the valet is not on duty that early (?). The poor front desk girl had to wrestle a very heavy bag into the car for us! It was not mentioned anywhere beforehand that parking is $28 per night--simply robbery! Elway's steakhouse is the restaurant at the hotel. The wait for anything there is ludicrous! We were there 1 1/2 hrs for 1 drink and an appetizer. Figured that to get a meal would take till midnight, so we went somewhere else to eat dinner. The concierge was off that night, so we couldn't get any advice on where would be a good seafood restaurant. Concierge stand-in admitted that he "knew nothing about Denver." The car drop service was great, he was the nicest person we encountered. This was a rare treat for us, and I wanted to stay somewhere nice; hotel staff almost ruined it for me. This was a wonderful hotel, it was very relaxing, beautiful, made our stay very enjoyable. Would stay there every time.

From the moment we stepped inside the Ritz, I knew we would be very comfortable. The room decor was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is associated with a HUGE gym. Children under 18 are not allowed in the pool area except on weekends, which was not clearly stated on the website. Otherwise, my children enjoyed the stay as well […] . Devamı

Wonderful hotel and fantastic service! Highly recommend the RItz to anyone staying in Denver.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend in February, and wished we could stay another week! The hotel was wonderful - beautifully decorated - and the service and staff were excellent. One of my favorite stays, and the restaurant - Elway's - was also wonderful. I highly recommend the Ritz to anyone staying in Denver, and hope to come back again […] soon! Devamı

As always, the staff at the Ritz was very attentive and friendly. My husband and I stayed for three nights in a deluxe room through the Re-Connect package - an excellent value! Great location- just two blocks from 16th St. Would highly recommend for a romantic weekend or a business getaway.

From check in to check out, every staff member was so helpful.

excellent hotel

Best hotel for my wife and me - great rooms, convenient to downtown Denver, restaurants, etc. And a world class fitness center - really important for our family. Didn't eat in the restaurant, so can't comment on that.

We requested a crib at check-in (noon) but had to call two more times to ask for it, and it didn't arrive until sometime after 5:30. Minor complaint. Everything else was excellent though, and would definitely stay there again.

Cleanest, roomiest, and had every thing a guest would need

I knew coming in (thanks to the earlier reviews) that parking on site would run us $25. Plus you have no option besides valet, which my husband hates, so we opted to park down the street. The neighborhood was rough, the hotel is right across the street from the Greyhound station, and we saw a number of police cars and ambulances as well as people in […] handcuffs right across the street as we waited for our car. They have a car service that will take you within five miles of the hotel at no charge. We had to wait about 15 min for that, but we would have had to wait just as long for a cab, and the car service car was much nicer. There were a few little things that could have been better. There was no Kleenex in the Kleenex box, and it was sweltering in the room, and the thermostat provided little relief. There was no fan or AC. We wanted a mini-fridge, and had to pay a $35 up charge for that. Two items’ that would not have been of concern at, say, a Marriott. We stayed with a friend and they were unable to put us in adjoining rooms, or even get us on the same floor. But the staff was friendly and the room was very pretty. I would not say I had a bad time, but for the cost, I will choose another hotel for my next Denver stay. Devamı
