Rooms a little dated, but so much to do without getting a taxi from the pool beach, spa, and fitness center. Abu Dhabi mall and some nice night clubs to walk to. Seems like a good family place.

Not the plushest hotel, could probably do with a refresh but I would still recommend it to anyone and would definitely stay again myself. The Meridien village (restaurant and pub area just outside and forming part of the hotel complex), is a fantastic amenity particularly if you are in Abu Dhabi for a long haul stop-over as we were. The hotel is well located for all shopping, restaurants etc, only downside to hotel internet failed after first evening, they were offierng a upgrade on check in which I took and good value as covered evening cokctails, breakfast and internet with access to royal club.

We stayed at Le Meridien enroute to Paris. Very pleasant hotel with good amenities and an 'Arabian Nights' atmosphere. The service is excellent and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend to others and will stay at Le Meridien whenever I fly to Europe.

Great service and location superb, right on the water. The choice of restaurants was fantastic and the atmosphere was very arabian nights - just wonderful.

Le Meridian stands out as one of the few low rise buildings in this city of skyscrapers. The beautiful decor in the reception rooms is reminiscent of a bygone day. The bedrooms are modern and comfortable and provide the biggest fluffyist towels seen in a long time. A lot of construction in the area does not detract from the outdoor ambiance - pools, […] beach or dining. We really enjoyed the beach and swimming in the sea. The steak in Le bistro was one of the best and cooked to perfection. If we return to Abu Dabhi Le Meridian would definitely be our choice of hotel. Devamı

Upon our arrival at the Le Meridan in Abu Dhabi we were greeted with a smile by a very pleasant and courteous desk clerk. Our room was ready and waiting to be occupied. I had requested a king bed and that is exactly what I was given. The room was spacious and clean. The facilities were immaculate. The pool has plenty of lounge chairs and the service […] at the pool bar was excellent. All the pubs at the hotel has very good food, alittle pricey. The beach was just okay. Not a real beach. The location of the hotel is very good, the Abu Dhabi mall is about a block away and has good shopping and food court. Abu Dhabi is an amazing city. Enjoy. Devamı

The Hotel is still a gem and excellent value within Abu Dhabi. The management and staff are, as usual, still most helpful and always polite. Breakfast fare is first class, well presented with eggs cooked to taste. Respective service is prompt and excellent. The Pool is very clean and patrolled regularly with surrounding grassed area also well maintained […] and kept in good order. However, One point deducted for the occasional lack of shower pressure, though Baths are fine and clean. Cold water Plumbing, although satisfactory, needs overhaul. Beach area is very neat and tidy, but one point deducted for partially reduced clarity of Sea Water [normally very good], due to current and recent civil works in the neighbouring viccinity. I've stayed at Starwood hotels before and this was probably the best. Very helpful staff (although they dropped the ball when they told me I could wear shorts to the Grand Mosque but this was not a major problem). Great hotel , close by to Abu Dhabi Mall, and a fab pool/garden , and small private beach - what more could you ask for . Staff friendly , and efficient , and plenty variation in restaurants with hotel . Hotel well maintained , and clean - rooms comfortable . Would recommend this hotel

A lovely older style hotel in the middle of the town convenient for the Mall and other shopping. Current and ongoing roadworks make it a little noisy at times with heavy traffic but not not overly so. A pity this lovely hotel will soon be knocked down to make way for the modern road network required for the modern Abu Dhabi.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Le Meridien continues to be my favourite Abu Dhabi hotel. It is old but charming and represents good value.With a range of bars and restaurants in its grounds and a shopping mall nearby, you can avoid the Abu Dhabi nightmare traffic.

This is an Old Hotel that's been remodeld, they missed on some of the areas and did not consider certain things, they are only 2 small Elevators and you need to walk the long hall to get to your room.

The hotel is considered one of the old buildings, yet it is maintained well. It has a small private beach and a swimming pool. One thing that I did not like is that the when I wanted to use a taxi service the door man was not honest and he has a deal with Non-taxi cab that is at least 50% more expensive than the silver cab with same or less quality. […] Even when I asked the person if this car is a taxi he assured me but when I saw the double charges the driver told me this is a different upgraded service which was not. So, make sure to use the silver Taxi and do NOT trust the door man!! Devamı

Exemplary service with so many dinning options and superb spa! Right next to Abu Dhabi Mall and many other places within walking distance. Of all options in the area, this one, more often than not, represents the best value for my husband and I when in town for either business or pleasure. Cheers!

Le Meridien hardly seems to have changed since I first visited it 25 years ago, but that felt like a positive thing. It has retained an atmosphere of Colonial French decor, mixing French chique and Arab traditions. The staff were attentive and helpful and the complex facilities for recreation and dining were very good.

Dieses Hotel kann sicherlich nicht mit den vielen neuen Luxushotel der VAE mithalten, es ist jedoch angenehm und komfortabel. Das Hotel wurde vor knapp 30 Jahren eröffnet und ist somit eines der ersten Hotels von Abu Dhabi. Dadurch erklärt sich auch, warum es im Vergleich zur übrigen Bebauung der Gegend relativ niedrig ist. Die Zimmer sind groß und […] komfortabel. Unser Doppelbett war Kingsize und somit riesig (meist wird Queensize verwendet). Das Mobiliar und die Ausstattung des Bades war nicht mehr ganz neu. Dies hat den Komfort jedoch in keinster Weise geschmälert. Das Personal und der Service waren sehr gut. Alle waren immer äußerst hilfsbereit. Der Parkplatz vor dem Haus war völlig überlastet, es gibt jedoch kostenloses Valet Parking. Der Pool und Strandbereich ist recht klein, jedoch ausreichend. Der Zugang ist über das Spa, dort muss man sich in eine Liste eintragen und erhält Handtücher. Die Fotos sind etwas täuschend. Es handelt sich nicht um einen Strand am offenen Meer sonder nur an einem schmalen Meeresarm, der ins Landesinnere geht. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Insel kann man Bauarbeiten beobachten, die aber nicht weiter stören. Die Internetnutzung im Zimmer ist recht teuer. In der Lobby kann man aber kostenloses WLAN nutzen. Da das Frühstücksbuffet auch recht teuer ist, waren wir immer im Mall nebenan frühstücken. Dort gibt es zu jeder Tageszeit zahlreiche Optionen. Preis-Leisung hat für uns (Ende März 2012) gestimmt. Zwei Tage später sollte die Übernachtung das doppelte kosten. Das wäre es uns nicht wert gewesen. Ein Vergleich mit anderen Hotels lohnt sich. Devamı

Det er et rigtig lækkert hotel med et dejligt poolområde og en god børnepool. Vi var yderst tilfreds med vores ophold der.

The Hotel is outdated and need an urgent refurbishment. No more than an average 3 star hotel. The pool and beach are OK but the food in the pool bar is not within the Meridien Standards. The Juices were botled and overpriced. The Gym and SPA are very good. Overall if you don't need a very good Gym and SPA you will get the same quality in a 3 star hotel […] for a third of the price Devamı

Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer in dem der Abfluß vom Bidet sehr stark roch. Das Badezimmer und Zimmer machte insgesamt nicht den säubersten Eindruck. Ansonsten ganz ok. Das Personal sehr freundlich, Die verschiedenen Restaurants in der Anlage, sehr nett. Personal an der Thai-Restaurant-Bar war sehr zuvorkommend. Frühstücksbuffet lies keine Wünsche of […] fen. Devamı
