Le Meridien Nice - Nice

the hotel is well situated and you can reach anywhere easily. I have reserved 2 months before a room where I prepaid a standart room. the room was inside looking, I did not proposed to have a seaview but at least there may be a balcony because swimsuits was a problem to get dry. everything was wonderful other than balcony.

4 stars hotel but actually only 3 and a half stars. We also had to pay for internet access . The rate was 19.50 Euro for each day which is very expensive. With the price we had paid for our hotel, the internet should be included

Location, Location! couldn't be better. Spring for a Deluxe/Sea and City view. You won't be disappointed. We watched parts of the parade right from our balcony. Only disappointments were the rooftop bar & pool closed at 4:30 PM and the spa/jacuzzi was a fee only open until 7 PM. Would have been nice to soak my tired feet & body in the jacuzzi at night. […] Also no free Wifi. For a high priced hotel these amenities should have been included. Devamı

The hotel location and the staff were great! The hotel is in need of the renovations coming this year but the team kept the expectations high.

The concierge service was outstanding. We attended a local concert and received very precise directions and hand copied packet of information. The room was another story. The accommodations were small and the bathroom is dated and not well appointed for the price. There are other hotels in the area for similar price  with better accommodations.

I found the entrance very run down and have greater excpectations for a 4 star hotel. I do a great deal of travelling and have experienced some wonderful hotels. I found the upstairs deck lovely but the lack of seating arround the pool was disappointing. Your staff, however, was very friendly and accommodating.

Great location but not up to Le Meridien standards; poor value for money.

Hotel needs an overall refreshening, but overall stay very comfortable, clean room and extremely courteous and helpful staff.

I was a bit anxious about staying here because of the volume of negative reviews and can see where some of them had merit but overall I was happy with this hotel. Check-in was very good and I was given a map with points of interest marked out for me. We got a classic room which overlooks a courtyard. The room was overdue a renovation with frayed skirting […] boards, scuffs on walls and the paint was peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. If this is likely to upset you then you would be better off paying more for your accommodation in Nice. However, the room was clean and the housekeeping staff were very helpful. There is no charge to use the pool and was enjoyable even in November. You can have coffee/pastries here for a short period in the mornings and this might be a more attractive option then the breakfast buffet which is more expensive and you get a great view of the coastline. The staff were all very helpful and responded to any issue I raised promptly and politely. The location is perfect for exploring Nice. Overall I would come back to this hotel but would take a sea-view room if the price was right Devamı

I stayed in an unfurbished room. It was very old and dirty. Even the sound of the TV was broken. The gym of the hotel was very small.

i am blown away at how disgusting this place was. i expected it to be a slightly above average le meridien property. it was GROSS. the carpet was gross, the bathroom was GROSS, the hotel needed some massive rennovations. yuck.

The best thing about this hotel is the location -- right on the water, centrally located and easy to walk to shops and restaurants, and has beach access (which means you can get towels and chairs on the sand for a orice). The lobby has been redone and is modern and very nice, as with most of the common spaces. The hallways and our room were disappointing, […] though. They were dated and trashy almost, with scuffs on the wall. We found the service to be good, and the rooftop pool and sundeck one of the highlights. Devamı

great location, but the hotel is a little old. spacious bathroom, but small bedroom. that said, it made no difference given this hotel's prime location

The staff at the hotel were excellent and very helpful. My room was excellent.

The hotel has a great location but they need to present the services available better; they need to tell you about the swimming pool, the beach, the restaurants the bars in the hotel not just let you discover them on your own, and they charge you for the beach and the pool...it is not free...

excellente nourriture - très belle carte. Juste dommage que l'hôtel était en travaux et que la vue sur la promenade était cachée par un échafaudage.

Très bon hôtel. Belle situation . Chambres modernes et spacieuses.Bon rapport qualité/prix. Très bon restaurant et vue magnifique depuis la terrasse.

En dehors du fait que personne n'avait eu la correction de m'informer que l'hotel était en ravalement et que prendre une chambre avec vue sur mer était donc totalement inutile vu qu'il y avait 'échaffaudage, j'ai été déçue par un service en chambre très moyen, pas de peignoir, pas de chausson alors qu'il y a un Spa, des prestations en interne ultra-chères, […] et on paye le téléphone même quand il s'agit d'une communication locale! Bref le personnel est plutôt gentil mais cela ne suffit pas à tout rattraper. Devamı

God beliggenhed kan kompensere for meget, men det er urimelig dyrt, og helt urimeligt at man skal betale et tocifret antal euro i døgnet for internet. Vær opmærksom på at der dog er frit internet i lobbyen, hvilket vi ikke blev gjort opmærksom på af den lettere arrogante service i receptionen. Morgenmad er dyrt og nydes bedre i den gamle bydel. Værelset […] (juniorsuite) var dejligt, men terrassen ubrugelig på grund af den megen trafikstøj. Hotel location is super, rooms good (clean) but no coffee/tea making facilities in rooms, breakfast ok quality but not worth money. Hotel does NOT have "private (part of) beach" as stated, instead you have to pay dearly to use a sunbed on storny beach. Rooftop pool good but very few sunbeds by pool. Nice hotel, nice staff, small but nice pool area/roof top restaurant, expensive parking,sunbeds and internet.

Det var nok et barnevennlig hotell, men ikke for de minste. Veldig dårlig lydisolert. Både mellom rom, og ut mot gatene. Vi la litt ekstra penher i å ha balkong, men ble skikkelig skuffet når den var så liten uten muligket til å sitte på stol der der. da var liksom litt av vitsen borte. Hadde med barn under 2 år, og der var policyen at de ikke hadde […] pute eller pledd til barneseng, det har vi fått på samtlige hotell før, men ikke her. Det kunne vi nok blitt bedre informert om på forhånd, slik at vi kunne tatt med eget, blir liksom ikke det samme med badehåndkler. Bassenget var også for dydt til at små barn kunne ha glede av det. Bildene av rommet avviket jo veldig fra det vi fikk, vi bestilte et delux rom, men størrelsen var overraskende liten. De som jobbet på hotellet var blide og høflige, og ytet god service. Veldig bra frokost på hotellet. Beliggenheten var helt perfekt. Vi drar gjerne tilbake, men venter til barna blir eldre. Devamı

Det var et dejligt hotel, dog meget dyrt. Morgenmaden var ikke inkluderet i prisen og der var ikke fri adgang til internet, virker en smule småligt, taget hotel standarden i betragtning. Pool området snyder på billederne, der er en lille pool med meget få liggestole, så man skal ikke vælge hotel pga. af denne. Venligt personale

Zimmer sind etwas klein und die Fenster zum Innenhof können nicht geäffnet werden - falls man die Klimaanlage nicht laufen lassen will wird es stickig im Zimmer.

Fint og bra hotell med flott beligenhet. Resepsjon og takterasse er strålande. Rom litt slitt og småting som ikkje virka som Internett osv. men eigentleg berre småplukk. God service og triveleg atmosfære.

Hotellin sijainti loistava. Suuri koko tekee palvelusta persoonattoman. Hotellissa piti olla ilmastointi. Oli kyllä mutta ei toiminut. Ääni oli kova, mutta jäähdytystä se ei tuottanut. Myös minibaari oli lämmin. Ei ollut hintansa väärti.

My daughter and I recently spnt three days at Le Meridien in Nice, and we had a great stay. The staff was very friendly, the room was lovely, the terrasse on top even lovelier and the breakfast delicious. I can recommend the hotel to all friends and future guests.

Fantastisk god behandling og venlighed af alt personale som havde med hotellet at gøre, vi nød de 5 dage og nætter i fulde drag. Swimmingpoolen og den private strand var super. Vi vender gerne tilbage, prisen var også rimelig.

Fantastische Lage, an der Promenade des Anglais, nahe beim Place Massena und der Fussgängerzone. Nach dem Ueberqueren der Promenade, ist man direkt auf dem Strand. Wunderschön ist auch die Aussicht vom 10. Stockwerk auf die Stadt. Leider wurde die Picine und das Restaurant während unseres Aufenthaltes renoviert, aber beim nächsten Besuch werden wir […] bestimmt von diesem Angebot Gebrauch machen. Topp beliggenhet v strand m restaurant, gangavstand til gamlebyen og topp lunchrestaurant og basseng på toppen. Det siste må sjekkes - var stengt da vi var der siste helg i januar. Vi hadde valgt hotellet dels pga dette og var meget skuffet siden det var for kalt å bade i sjøen. The location of le Méridien could not possibly have been better. It's right at the city centre, with a terrace and restaurant overlooking the ocean, and twenty meters from its own private beach (with restaurant), were we spent several days. You have to pay for the use of the sun beds, but hotel guests get a discount, and we found the money to be well […] spent and the experience definitely worth it, as the food and service were both very good and the sun beds right next to the sea. The Méridien is newly renovated with the exception of the so called "classic" rooms, which face the yard. We stayed in one of these, and were quite happy with it. Albeit old, the room was clearly once decorated with some taste, the beds were new and very good and the shower was modern and powerful. We did, however, have a problem with the fact that the carpet was dirty, with stains obviously collected through many years. Although the rooms are expressedly non-renovated, the carpets definitely should have been changed. This was, however, our only objection. The fact that the entrance section, with an escalator going up to the 1st floor reception, was not particularly attractive, did not matter to us at all. The pros were more crucial: The breakfast buffet was delicious, as was our restaurant dinner, the terrace on the 9th floor, with sun beds and a restaurant facing the sea was wonderful, the guest areas new and pretty with clean lines and muted browns, the service all over friendly and helpful, and the city restaurant recommended to us by the concierge turned out to be splendid. bruyant externe et interne (perceuse, climatisation chambre veillote et sale inefficace, chambre mal insonorisée) personnel pas aimable. devanture de l'hotel sale pas digne d'un 4 etoiles. Fantastic hotel with the best location in Nice. Nice terrasse on the roof with pool. They also have a good plage at the beach. I prefeer the sandy beaches in Cannes, rather than the beaches in Nice which are with rocks.

Perfekt läge. Rummen kunde vara ngt bättre standard med tanke på priset. Otroligt dyr frukost-konstigt att man inte kan få frukost inkl. i rumspriset.

hotellets beliggenhet er perfekt - strand, shopping og gamlebyen er bare maks 5 min unna vi oppgraderte rommet og hadde utsikt mot gamlebyen, havnen og sjøen med en deilig terasse med komfortable møbler reiser gjerne tilbake!
