Overall, this place is very friendly and comfortable. The beds were surprisingly comfy. The hotel is conveniently located near Asheville and major highways so getting around is no problem. Also, there is a truck stop right around the corner that serves food 24/7 so you can enjoy a late night meal or get a super early start on the day. Very friendly and helpful.

They need to clean the carpets. It was old and dingy but served our purpose for the night.

It was close to where I needed for to be which was good. The price was very good also. The furniture was very not all that good. Had cold water for my morning shower.

this isnt in the best of locations if you're wanting to be surrounded by nearby places to go and things to do, but it suited our purposes just fine. it was quiet, clean, and the staff was really friendly. our only complaint was with the shower, it was impossible to maintain a constant temperature, you were either scalded or freezing, sometimes both […] within minutes of each other for no apparent reason. but if you dont mind that, it was a great place, rooms were really comfy and clean. plus they give you free breakfast AND dinner, cant beat that!! Great for the one night that I needed it.

we researched heavily before coming to see the biltmore and all reviews for Days Inn West indicated that it would be a good value-for-money, my key criterion. i was pleased with the friendly welcome from the front desk, the welcome dinner soups, the room itself and its ammenities, and the breakfast before our departure. the only thing i disliked was […] the very poor acoustics between rooms so that the neighboring rooms could all be heard, particularly the kids romping up/down stairs. perhaps if folks ask (as we did) for a QUIET room, they should put all of US in another wing (it didn't seem to be fully occupied, though our 'wing' was). love the coffee makers in room and the dinner soups; please continue to include. would recommend and stay again. The beds were uncomfortable and the sheets very thin. There was paper on the bathroom floor and one of the cups, though wrapped in paper, had been used. The TV color was very poor and it rattled when you walked past it. Door handles were loose.

Besides breakfast, they offer soup at dinner. When I arrived around 7:30 tired and hungry, I was told to enjoy complementary potato soup, a tradition with this hotel. It was really good. The people at this hotel definitely aim to please! Free dinner and free breakfast. I wish I wouldn't have already eaten dinner, because whatever they were serving smelled great. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a great location. I was in my room for about 20 minutes when the phone rang. The wall moved. I opened the door and the wall moved. I swear. VERY loud (you could hear anyone talk three rooms away) but the worst thing was the water in the shower... it got hot, it got cold, and you couldn't predict when it would happen. It literally was hot enough to scald and cold enough to chill... The room's heater STANK of hair (probably the […] first time it had been used since last season) and mostly just cycled the fan without engaging either the cooling compressor or heating coils, the "complimentary supper" and "complimentary breakfast" were all but inedible... in short, sleeping in the car would have been preferable. For the price I paid for a weekend during peak season it was very good deal. My expectation was on the low side but when I got there it was better than expected. Overall good experience.

It's a days inn. You expect an upper-low class hotel. For a one night stop on a road trip, it suffices. Breakfast was acceptable for free. They offered free dinner too, but we ate elsewhere. Staff was helpful an friendly. Overall a good on night stay.

Wife and I stayed for one night while passing through the area on a motorcycle trip. Motel was a bit older, but clean with very helpful employees. Had a very good hot breakfast. Good value for the price, would stay again.

Good hotel for the price....not fancy, but works

There were stains on the towels and ants in the beds when we pulled back the covers. Also, they only set up our key cards for one day even though we stayed multiple nights, so we had to go back to the front desk (which is far from the rooms) to have our keys reactivated.

If you want a good breakfest & friendly staff & a good rate book this motel as I will the next time I go back to or thru NC.

We were on the road, and had just had a less-than-satisfactory experience at a different Days Inn. Had even thought of cancelling this reservation and choosing a different chain (that one was in Lake City, FL...not bad, just far from great). We were VERY pleasantly surprised with this hotel! It was lovely, set up in the mountains, private, affordable, […] with lovely views. Some street noise when you walked around by the pool, that's the only drawback. Otherwise it's full-blown mountain charm at a lovely price. Friendly people too. I'd stay here again:-) Devamı

Great, freindly staff, good breakfast

The carpet in the room could have been a little cleaner. The ac was cold and the bed was fine. The bath tub could have been a little cleaner. The water pressure was fine. The breakfast was just so so. The hotel was older, but not bad over all. For the price of the room you can't complain. I would stay again.

This hotel is definitely no-frills, but was perfect for just passing through for one night. The room was pretty dated, but was very clean. Fuzzy tv, transient clientele, but perfect stop for one night. Also, great views. Don't expect much in the nearby area. It's fairly rural. Nice room for the rate. Beds were comfortable, the room was clean and the staff were very nice at check-in. Nothing real fancy, but a good place to crash for a couple of nights. Located about 10 miles west of Asheville.

Great value, older, but well maintained. Air condition worked great. Accepts pets (even a Great Dane). I would stay here again.

Staff was very helpful and nice; rooms were clean loved the breakfast and dinner meal for free; gave a good tip the outside of the hotel and the balconies were scary. really need to be repaired. Afraid it would fall

The hotel was Ok at the price and had what we needed. However, the carpet in our room was a little sticky. Other than that the room seemed clean enough.

This is one of the worst hotels I've stayed in.. if it wasn't 9pm and paid for I would have moved on.. a car would have been better!!

This hotel was strictly "okay" - not particularly clean or well decorated. The staff was fine; breakfast was not good - processed foods and fruit drinks only.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The location was one block off of the interstate and convenient. The mattress needed to be replaced and was not all that comfortable, but that was the only negative to our stay.

Stayed one night while traveling from Arkansas to Myrtle Beach. Nestled in the mountains. Clean room and friendly staff. Pretty good breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Great value for the money. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and very affordable. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

For the money, this hotel was decent enough. Beds were fine; staff was friendly. It's a bit older and the carpet could stand replacing, but overall, it was what I expected.

We stayed 3 nights at Days Inn West. I was pleased to find new, very comfy beds and a clean room with a fridge, coffee maker and microwave. I have paid far more and received far less at many other hotels. This is a very good value if you're on a budget, or simply want to spend your money on other things.

Motel room was average. Ac heating unit appeared and worked almost new. Bathroom was a bit small. Fridge and microwave. Adequate lighting. Free full breakfast and stew and soup for evenings. Staff very friendly and accomodating.

Everyone at this Hotel was super to deal with! Even the cleaning ladys were all smiling! Everything was on the up and up.. with the thanks you sir..and yes sir. Customer service was STELLAR! Hotels.com customer service personnel should work for Days Inn West to learn a few things though!

The mattresses were very worn out, so they sloped on the edges. If you took a shower during cleaning hours, there was no hot water or it was scalding. There was no in between comfortable temperature for the bath tub. The drink machine took our money and we couldn't get it back. They charged my card for the pet fee, but told me my card declined. The […] fee was on my card activity for a whole week before it cleared. You could hear your neighbors pipes extemely loud when they took a shower. This was our first stay at this hotel, which was easy to find and conveniently located to family we were visiting. The staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were comfortable and clean. Would stay here again.

The room had not been cleaned. There was trash on the floor, hair in the tub, and the sheets did not appear to have been changed. The water smelled like raw sewage.

Free breakfast and dinner saved me even more money than i expected. My microwave and fridge didn't work but they sent maintenance up and they fixed the outlet right away. Beds were ok, room was clean and staff was friendly. What more could you ask for :) Oh and the rates were cheap!

Our room was south facing, and second floor, and we had a splendid view of Pisgah National Forest. It felt a bit far from all the activities in town, but I didn't know that til we got there. It wasn't bad, only about 15 minutes to all the happenings. The farmers market was very close by, we enjoyed buying fresh snacks to take back to the room.
