Embassy Suites Hotel Dallas Market Center - Dallas

I came to this hotel for a quiet weekend to study for an exam. Well that was a big mistake! The hotel was full of high school kids who made noise all night long. I couldn't concentrate so I ended up studying at Starbucks. Not only that but the hotel was doing some renovations which I wasn't aware of until I arrive at the hotel. I was very uncomfortable […] but I had no choice since I was traveling from out of town. I will never go to this hotel again! Devamı

Very nice but it would have been great if we had been made aware of the remodeling before our stay. Plus they should not put people in rooms right next to it. We woke up every morning to beeping and hammering.

Well it all started off with the hotel having construction going on. You have find the lobby first. The check-in was pretty easy with no problems once you find the temporary check-in location. Room was pretty good. No real complaints there except the beds are entirely too soft! Went down to the pool which was freezing cold(it's an indoor pool). The […] control for the hot tub was broken so the water there was luke warm and you could not get it to warm up. After that, there was a concert across the street and I could hear and sing the lyrics of the songs cause I could here the band playing it clearly as if I was there.. So this finally ended at about 1:30 in the morning. Once morning got there we went down to the buffett which I have had better buffett from Embassy Suites in the past. All in all the stay was ok for one night, but it could be alot better! Devamı

The hotel was undergoing a remodel. The staff was great. Will stay there again

They were doing extensive remodeling and sometimes the hammering would be fierce. I don't blame the hotel, however, I do blame hotel.com for not sharing this on their sight. They had to know what was happening. The hotel staff did go out of their way to be helpful for the most part.

The only complaint I had was about the pool and the lack of supervision by parents. The children were allowed to come to the pool without their parents and in the time I supervised my children two nights for two hours each, no one from the hotel came through to check on the pool. I would advice a walkthrough periodically.

Rooms comfortable and clean, breakfast in morning very good selection and plentiful.

The hotel is in a great location and was very nice on the inside. There was a lot of construction going on and the pool was closed which was a bit of a let down, I'm sure it was posted on the site when I reserved the room but I completely missed it. The room was very nice my only real complaint is that the a/c return which was located in the front room […] was extremely loud and my 10 year old had the misfortune of having to try to sleep through it. was what I expected, renovations going on, but that was okay.. It did not interfere with our stay. 2 room suite with a fold out sofa bed made another sleeping place. The tv's have been updated to lcds and all the channels were crisp and clear, the cook to order breakfast was delicious with a very nice selection of things to compliment an omelet or eggs […] any style. A managers reception each night is chips and dip with well drinks at the bar. we enjoyed that to. Service was pleasant and everyone there was friendly and helpful, with easy access to the Stemmons freeway it was easy to get anywhere in minutes. The American Airlines center is very close. It was st patrick day weekend and the end of spring those too things along with a hotel in major renotavation cause are stay to short of a nightmare. The hotel had no control over this out of control crowd and when I complained I was offered a bottle of water or a cold can beverage and a apology.I told them the party in 731 was ridiculous all night […] loud partying and no one came up to ask them to calm down after numerous calls to the front des. With all the construction going. On I had major safety concerns for my children and the managers reception had so many what appeared to be unnder age people participating. Reserved and prepaid for a double suite. Called that afternoon to confirm the double beds, and late arrival. Was told everything was set. Got to hotel and they switched it to a king handicap room, probably the last one nobody wanted. They switched me the next day to what i asked for after i asked.

The staff was very friendly...however they are doing some major construction so that was a bit of a hassle.. The indoor pool was very crowded and extremely loud. I have two young kids but...everyone seemed to echo inside. The hot tub was nice and warm though. The breakfast was really good and had healthy choices too!! Would have liked to of known the hotel was under construction before we stayed only reason I picked this hotel was for the indoor pool but it was closed for repairs and the hotel front lobby was under construction it did not keep us up or bother us at all.

Even though there was construction going on in the hotel on the floor below us, the room was very quiet. The hotel staff were very accomodating and we will definitely stay here again!

One thing I didn't enjoy was the fact that they are going under construction, you always want to go to a nice beautiful hotel that makes you feel welcomed but the construction made me feel that we were in a cheap place :( . Another thing is that we forgot my husband's pj's, we have been calling to see if they would mail them to us but after calling […] 6 times nobody has been able to call us back, we had to file a claim somewhere else. The hotel is under construction. No pool available. Soda machines and ice not available or broken.

We were not told that the hotel was under construction before arrival. I was told that there was a shuttle to the convention center and they changed their policy Jan 1 to only shuttle to the airport. I asked for adjoining rooms and got them. I discovered that one room had the door open and a ladder under the air conditioner. Our other guests were arriving […] that evening and I asked if the room was okay. I returned later in the afternoon and inquired about the room again. They told me that everything was okay. Upon arrival around 11pm, the other guests discovered that the air did not work. Next morning we left for an all day meeting and informed the front desk again about the problem. They said they would take care of it. We we came back later in the day we discovered that nothing had been done. They finally got someone to fix it pretty quickly. Needless to say the stay could have been better. We should have been informed about the construction ahead of time. I like Embassy Suites as a rule. I hope my review will rustle a few feathers. we love this hotel an have stayed here before. however, we booked this hotel again because it has an indoor pool. we spent money to purchase bathing suits and told our child she would swim again. when we arrived she was so disappointed to find out the pool was under construction and was closed. this time i would have stayed somewhere else with an indoor […] pool. I was visiting in Dallas and stayed 2 nights. Saturday and Sunday. It took multiple phone calls to get an extra refrigerator in the room. But after several hours later, I finally received one. They were also doing construction during our visit so the pool was out of service, and there was lots of banging when my mother was trying to take a nap during […] the middle of the afternoon. Returning back to the hotel after an evening of dinner, I was shocked to see the side door "open" at 10:00pm. It was obvious they were understaffed during my visit because even during the manager reception, lines were long with only 1 bartender on a Saturday night. The final straw was the air conditioning not working properly. Like the refrigerator incident, it took multiple phone calls and eventually I was put in a another room. I am a loyal embassey suites customer and will very likely still stay at the hotel again, just not that particular location in Dallas. Devamı

This is probably the worst Embassy Suites I've ever stayed in. The carpets had multiple stains and the room smelled very musty, my mold allergies started to kick in right away. There were construction workers loitering in the lobby and running machinery upstairs and the pool area was closed (they did give me the address of another hotel with a pool […] I could use). The neighboorhood around the hotel is bad enought that they have a tall fence around the hotel and an entry gate to get in and out. There were people loitering outside the gated area and we heard sirens all night. Will not stay at this location again. Devamı

I stayed here and absolutley loved this hotel! I will be back soon because it was so nice to just relax. I stayed in the King Suite and the room was really nice. Also the employees were wonderful as well :)

This hotel was fine, without being great. The room was large and comfortable, and didn't have any cosmetic issues. The plumbing seemed a little old, and the entire hotel smelled of whatever was going on in the lobby. Sometimes it smelled of clorine, sometimes of bacon. Hotels.com did not get my reservation faxed to hotel so I had a 30 minute check-in delay. Very disappointed in Hoyels.com service.

property is older. Pool and hot tub was closed for renovations. Bed was soft and uncomfortable. Hilton Honors Reception was a joke. Popcorn and 1 person working it with 50 people in line. Wine offered was undrinkable, and I dont have a sophisticated palate.

My family loves the Embassy Suites because of their great breakfast in the mornings, and indoor pool. The evening reception for adults was nice as well. I would recommend this hotel. Easy on and off the Freeway. We stayed here as a stop to visit Medieval Times, which was right down the feeder.

I had my choice to stay at the embaasy suites or the Hilton a couple of blocks up the street. First of all the staff was polite and friendly so no problem there. The entrance and lobby were old looking and the tile floor must be 20 years old. In my room there were stains on carpet and bed was sagging. This room looked like it had been furnished in 1980 […] and never changed. I have stayed in the Hilton down the street and I should have stayed this time. One more thing one of the reasons I stayed here was for the free breakfast and the food was awful!. I would hope someone form hotels.com needs to knock this down to a 2 star hotel and have them lower price for guests Devamı

The hotel was super clean and the people were very hospitable!! I can't wait until my next stay in Dallas so I can come back to this hotel!

This hotel was very nice, a little outdated, but very nice. It was close to the AAC and close to downtown shopping. The breakfast was a huge bonus and was very delicious. I would definately recommend this hotel and will stay here in the future.

Great staff, very helpful in all matters. Free nightcaps and snacks, free full breakfast buffet, not just coffe and doughnut.

Nothing fancy but this is a perfectly serviceable hotel. Pretty much have to drive to anywhere, but that might be typical of Dallas. Only a few minutes' ride to downtown. Rooms feel like they haven't been updated in a while, but were clean and well kept. The free breakfast buffet is consistently excellent, as is the free happy hour EVERY night.

Great hotel, large space, free wifi (although pretty slow at times), free hot breakfast, free wine reception. I also like the free shuttle that takes you around although it was very busy but due to a large convention in the city. About 10mins drive to downtown and uptown. Front desk is not as friendly as I would expect but overall a great hotel!

The rooms are all gross, outdated, dirty. My bathroom had no soap holder for the shower, the show door didn't close, the sofa was disgusting old and dirty. Everything is a gross shade of tan, brown. Carpeting was stained and nasty. I would avoid this Embassy Suites at all costs.

Excellent location, nice rooms, hot breakfast including pancakes and grilled omelletes, I had booked a suite for a night and my little ones loved it. They also have an indoor swimming pool and the breakfast is served on the first floor in the center of the hotel. Highly recommend for quick short stays.
