Customer service and room quality just ok. Air conditioner / heating unit very loud and would turn on and off repeatedly. Also beware if you use your debit master card or visa as a credit card. Hotel will charge $100 deposit fee for incidentals.

The hotel was fine. I'm sure the atrium design was a cool architectural feature in the 80s, but seems a bit dated now. Also, the atrium activity can be noisy for the lower rooms. Also, be forewarned that there is not adequate elevator service. We waited close to 10 mins, then decided to walk down to the lobby with all our luggage!

Hotel was a bit old and tired. The room I was in needed a facelift and so do the lobby area of the hotel.

Atrium design is perfect if you like late-night drunken noise! First time ever in a "First class" hotel where Housekeeping "forgot" to clean my room on Saturday. I won't be back.

This is a great location if you are planning to see Washington DC. It is right next to the Metro which is a very clean subway system. Many restaurants in a walking radius in Bethesda. Room was in good condition and clean. The WiFi is only free in the lobby and the free breakfast is a bit chaotic with limited selections.

2 double beds and they you say can sleep 4. you must be a very small person to fit on these beds. The Hotel wouldn't allow a roll away bed either because of Fire code. Give me a break.

I totally enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Bethesda. It was convenient to DC. The staff members were extremely helpful. After a night out on the town, I came back to the hotel with a cold slice of pizza. The front desk staff retrieved a plate and assisted me with warming my pizza in the microwave near the lobby. The iron in my room did not work which prompted […] me to call and request another iron. No soon after the call, I received an new iron and a call to ensure that I received it. Would definitely stay again! Devamı

Good location. Clean. Comfortable. Quiet. Great Service. Our second stay at this hotel and we were, again, very pleased with our choice.

The room they first assigned us was under construction, so they gave us a free upgrade. The room was fairly big, but the bathroom door was difficult to close and the toilet was too close to the shower. Furniture was damaged and not high quality. The bed was nice, though. I'd recommend the hotel because it's easy to get to DC on the subway, and the neighborhood […] is nice. Devamı

We were very satisfied with our stay. The staff was very friendly.

Excellent location literally next to the Metro station, clean room, good service, very good (included in the price) breakfast ... I would go back with the same deal again

Hotel was shabby and crowded; our room reeked of insecticide. Seemed more like a cheap hotel than a Hyatt Regency.

Why don't they have EWTN on the TV? It is free .

Meets/exceeds all expectations. We live nearby and I needed to stay elsewhere to avoid a beerpong party in my house and the hyatt was great.

I would recommend this hotel to any couples looking for a Stacation for the weekend. Indoor pool and Hot tube was wonderful. Surrounding area shops and dinning in walking distance...Nice!

We've stayed here at Christmas time every year to visit friends for the holiday. We take the train and it's very convenient being right above the red line from Washington, DC. The rooms are pretty standard. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast used to be included but now their continental breakfast is a la carte. Staff is friendly and all services […] are convenient. The hotel was beautiful at one point in time, but that time is past. The rooms are wearing out. The wallpaper is peeling in several rooms and carpets are worn. The bathrooms need to be totally updated.

Very convenient for both pleasure (restaurants; shopping) and business; very close to all means of transportation. Reasonable rates, professional staff. Recommend highly.

The staff was incredibly personable and kind. I appreciated this, especially since I was travelling alone.

One thing that I have to mention was the light above the sink was out, the housekeeping maid came to make up the room on the 2nd day, I thought the light would be fixed during the day, but it wasn't. I have to call housekeeping again before stepping out in the evening. It was thoughtful that the engineering tech left the light on and left a short note […] to let me know the light was fixed. The hotel has good restaurants, and the public areas are all right. The people working there are friendly and helpful. The only problem is that the rooms are sorely in need of being upgraded, they are at least 25 years old.

I have been to the DC area many times and never knew about Bethesda. I had my reservations but my friend booked this hotel for her wedding party and it was great. It's walking distance to restaurants and shops and perfect access to the metro. My room was on the 10th floor so I had a great view. Loved it.

very popular and great location in d.c. just looking a little run down which i am sure they will renovate soon, extremely cordial and accomodating, lots of fun.

The room was great but we purchased the continental breakfast and there was a roach in the bagels . We told the person working there and she said sometimes with the humidity they get in there, I left deciding not to eat and came back 20 mins later she didn't throw out the bagels or get the roach out. I complained to the front desk they refunded us but […] I still didn't see anyone throw them out... Never again ... Devamı

This hotel is pretty old: furniture, carpet, TV. Bathroom okay. If you are looking for a clean place - this is NOT the place to be. If you are looking for R&R - avoid this hotel!! The front desk was friendly when we checked in. But, on the occasion of the check out, I had some queries that I asked to the attendant. She was moody and lacked courtesy. Her name as affixed on her jacket is "Mary". That was Sunday 27 November at 13:00. The lady answered to my question with another question such as "if you knew the answer, why asking?" […] That kind of attitude contributed to tarnish the image of the Hyatt and corrective action should be undertaken immediately. This is an excellent hotel with a top quality steak house and grill bar. For visits to DC, its so convenient as its right next to the red line metro. Price, location, and quality of hotel - this must be the best in the Washington area.

The hotel is coveniently located right next to a subway stop. Prices vary greatly. The hotel has obviously seen better days. Internet access in the room is only available for an extra charge. Windows in the room cannot be opened. The aircon cannot be fully switched off.

Some of the rooms I have stayed in are in need of minor maintenance. My bathroom tub did not drain well and the tile needed to be maintained. The location and area are outstanding.
