A very nice hotel in a good location. The room and bedding were comfortable. The service was friendly and efficient.

Very nice hotel and surprisingly the restaurant within was the best that the city had to offer. Only small complaint would be that all rooms should have a small refrigerator and microwave. In a city known for it's exceptional food culture, you tend to have left overs that you should be able to enjoy later in the comfort of your hotel room. All in all […] though, very clean hotel and very helpful and friendly staff. Most of the sights worth doing and seeing in New Orleans is a safe walking distance from hotel. There is a convenient steady flow of taxis and a streetcar stop in front the hotel, if you prefer to ride to specific sights. Devamı

Rooms need updating. Ants in one of two rooms. Location is a bit of a hike to the French Quarter; shuttle would be necessary to bring me back.

Excellent amenities, the Hilton was a very nice place to stay.

The hotel was great. Perfect location and walking distance to where all the action is. The hotel was very clean and our room had a great view. Very comfortable stay, well worth the money. The guys outside parking cars, could have been more friendly.... if they work for the hotel... a smile and hello might have been nice. We walked past them at least […] 6 times and they were too busy talking amoung themselves to acknowledge us. Odd, because everyone we met/passed where so nice and friendly. Devamı

I ordered a queen-size bed and got 2 king beds instead. There was no room service menu in the room when I arrived. I ordered two classes of Chardonay and they brought me 2 glasses of red wine. Overall, this is a very nice hotel. Our hotel room and bed were very comfortable. These days I only pick hotels that triple sheet the beds and they do. Also the beds themselves were extremely comfortable. We also had a room far away from the elevator and it was very quiet, not something I have found in previous New Orleans stays. People can be - uh […] - very loud in New Orleans late at night! My little pet peeves with this hotel were the following: a tight bathroom that became extraordinarily humid during any shower to the point it was impossible to dry off in there. The hotel bar was in the center of the hotel lobby, which was rather unappealing to me. Also, it very easily became totally overwhelmed by some group of conference go-ers who swarmed it occasionally at 5pm. I picked the hotel also because of the pool. There were actually two pools, but the pools were fairly utilitarian and not very elegant. The kids liked them though. One was kind of a hike from the room (in the opposite building) and we had to go there one day because the main pool was unexplainably closed. The hotel is in a convenient location just outside of the French Quarter and easily within walking distance of many things - the Aquarium, street cars, restaurants, French quarter, etc. I would probably stay here again. We went during the easter holiday. We had such a great time! The staff was extremely helpful. Everyone was so polite and our room view was incredible. The river was right in our face! We ordered room service and the food was delicious! The hotel room was very clean and the hotel itself is very nice. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Even though I called Hotels.com and requested they notify the Hilton of a late arrival, once I was at he check in desk, they tried to switch me from a King to two queens - I refused the switch and it took olver 15 minutes for them to get it straightened out. Great location for local attractions. Park in hotel parking and walk to aquarium, Imax, French Quarter, French Market and much more! The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was clean and the view was awesome! River to the right and city to the left. The kids just loved the glass elevator as well! We will definitely stay again!

We arrived at 11 a.m and were allowed to check in early. We had a great view of the Mississippi River. The bed was very comfortable. The location was great walking distance to The Riverwalk, restaurants and French Quarter. The check out time was noon but we were allowed to keep our car in lot till 3 p.,m. for the one day charge.

The Riverside Hilton is a wonderful location for a fabulous weekend. Conveniently located near excellent restaurants and wonderfully comfortable accommodations. Don't miss grilled oysters at Drago's!!! Ready to go again!!

Nice hotel, the room was a little small and the Breakfast pricing was over priced { Buffet }. It was convenient and had a nice view or river. I would stay here again but get the next larger room.

great location. everyone complains about the exorbitant parking fees. lots of kids at the pool with no supervision. great hotel staff though.

Centrally located to Super Dome, French Quarter and many other neighorborhoods. Great place!

Hotel was a great place to stay for the final four. Rooms were overpriced because of the final four nut a great experience anyways. Would stay here again.

Perfect location for trolley travel! Connected to Riverwalk Mall for safe night time activity! 2 pools! Quick elevators! Great view of Mississippi River! Great restaurant - Drago's

I have nothing but good things to say about my stay here. The hotel looked great. The room was clean & spacious. The location was in walking distance to many of the place I wanted to go. I will stay here again on future trips to New Orleans

Love this Hilton. The staff is friendly, and very accommodating! Very Clean, bed was extremely comfortable. A few things to watch for: 1. Don't book when a convention is in town - very pricey if you book through the hotel directly, I actually saved a significant amount going through hotels.com! If I didn't need a room so bad and the rest of the city […] wasn't already sold out or outrageously priced (they all jack up their rates to the max when any convention or special event is scheduled) - then I would've waited until the next weekend when the rate would've been approx. 70% less than what we paid. That being said, it was still the most affordable hotel through hotels.com, and I will definitely book through hotels.com again considering the money I saved booking through them. 2. Don't Eat at the restaurant on the first floor "Drago's". This is a satellite location of the Original Drago's in Metairie - which is so much better than the one in the Hilton. Took an hour and 15 min. to get my Chicken Alfredo, and when it came, it was old looking - the pasta had started turning hard and appeared yellowish in color, and the sauce looked horrible. Needless to say, sent it back and just asked for the check. Got a slice of Pizza in the French Quarter later - which was pretty good. Other than those two minor things to look out for, the hotel was great, and our overall stay was great! Devamı

The hotel rooms were very comfortable and we loved the convenience of being near the aquarium and other riverfront amenities.

Great hotel and we got a great deal on the room. My only complaint was a strange noise, which sounded like it was coming from inside the wall during the night. It wasn't loud, but hotel rooms are so quiet at night that you can hear EVERY little thing. Now I bring ear plugs. Other than that the hotel was great. Social center of new orleans close to shopping, nightlife, and in the center of the heartbeat of new orleans. A consignee and fun place to be...

Location was the best for this hotel, for it was close to the convention center and the french quarter.The hotel was huge but a little older but very clean.

Excellent location and great staff and view of the Mississippi. Look forward to staying there again.

Enjoyed our stay. Adjacent to the pedestrian walkway but the pavement is very uneven which may present a challenge for some and bears mentioning. We found it to be a great shortcut. The room itself had the usual soft inviting bed and standard amenities.

Good hotel. Definitely better than the Sheraton on canal st. when staying for Mardi Gras. They have their own parking garage which is good but they do charge hotel guests $30+ a day to park in it (should be free for guests). One bad thing was how huge this hotel is. It felt like we had to walk a mile and take multiple escalators & elevators to get to […] our room from the front desk. A real pain after you have been walking around the french market all day and want to rest your feet. Service was quick and friendly. There is slow wifi throughout the hotel which you have to pay for. Isn't this free at most hotels? There was no toilet paper in the room and when we called room service they brought up Kleenex/facial tissue and housekeeping did not put any toilet paper when they cleaned the room each day of our stay.
