Pleasantly surprised and rates very competive

Although it was only a one night stay, we found this a delightful place to stay. Very clean and wonderful grounds. We will return. Next time for a longer stay. We loved that it was pet friendly. Our small Bichon enjoyed his stay as well.

Sometimes the service in the restaurant was poor. I think they could use a better restaurant mgr.

this hotel is very relaxing and inviting. The pool area and sitting areas all around are so wonderful. You could spend hours just relzxing and enjoying the area of the resort.

Nice hotel, clean, outdoor furniture is very unique and comfy. sitting at the fireplace and glass of wine to end the evening is great. close to shopping, arts district as well as old town.

My sister-in-law and I took a mommy getaway staycation for her birthday last weekend at the Firesky Resort and Spa. We were greeted upon check-in with complimentary wine selections. We were very pleased with our room and found it spacious and comfortable. I looked at many options before choosing Firesky and was delighted with my choice. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the resort offers free shuttle service anywhere within 3 mles, room was clean and comfortable and I loved the little balcony overlooking the pool. The outdoor fireplace and tiki torches surrounding the pool area were nice and the […] little extras, like the coffee bar in the morning and wine and appetizers in the evening, were nice as well. I really liked this hotel. It seemed quiet and peaceful. The gardens were lovely and people seemed to just sit peacefully reading books or reading papers amongst the trees and pools.

My husband and I stayed 6 nights here with our pet. We enjoyed our stay here for the most part---the first impression while pulling into the entrance was, "wow!" The decor is stunning in the common areas of the hotel and it feels luxurious. They aren't just pet-friendly, but VERY pet-friendly and accommodating. During our stay we had problems with the […] shower leaking into the bathroom floor, just a poor design flaw and little annoying. The hotel staff tried to fix, but to no avail. One particular day we were w/out water for almost an entire day, due to maintence and the restaurant/room service was closed as well. We were never notified that this would be happening---a simple note under the door would've sufficed. This was not convenient for me/us given we had a dog with us and due to an asthma attack that sent me to the ER in the wee hours the night before, I wanted to stay in bed to recover that day. Again just an annoyance really and I would've expected a Kimpton hotel to have better service due to past experience. I was also eager to try this hotel because of their restaurant Taggia which seems to promote the use of organic and seasonal ingredients and locally sourced as much as possible. Honestly, the menu LOOKS great, but it was pretty disappointing. Typical hotel style food and bland. Maybe a step above some, but not prepared well. I have stayed in several Kimpton hotels and found the food to be excellent elsewhere, this time it was sub par. The selection of wine and beers was very good and sitting at the bar was a nice experience with good service. However, don't expect attention if you want to sit outside in any of the areas around the pools or firepits; a shame really because it is really beautiful to do so--lots of chairs and cushions, very inviting, but were completely ignored. I would consider going back to this hotel again, especially if we are traveling with our pet, but will probably investigate other options first. A return visit will have us eating Devamı

Very comfortable resort. Pet friendly, never heard a dog bark once. Free coffee and tea in the morning and between 5-6 pm free wine . Beautiful lobby and pools are really what they look like on ttheir web site.Room is big and comfortable. A minute walk to the Fashion Mall, restaurants and movies. Downtown Scottsdale is about a mile walk with wonderful […] restaurants.The conceige has a list. All the hotel staff were very nice and helpful. They have a free shuttle service within a 3 mile area. I would recommend renting a car and taking a drive to Sedona (2hrs.) also drive along the Apache Trail stop at Goldfield Ghost Town, Canyon Lake and Trotilla Flat but most of all explore the area and have fun. There are many nice places in Scottsdale, however, if you want service...this is the place!

This hotel/resort is a short walk from Fashion Square with lots of shops and restaurants. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Pool area is very nice. Exercise room could use some updating and additional equipment. Not an ultra-fancy Scottsdale resort, but very nice and very convenient location.

Had a great stay here with my girlfriends. Couldn't have picked a better place to enjoy a spa weekend.

A Pet-Friendly resort of the highest caliber! They do not discriminate against larger pets, proving that just because you are a big dog, doesn't mean you are a bad dog!

The staff was extremely helpful. The free wine was great! The hotel grounds were beautiful, room was comfortable. Everything was perfect at this hotel. I've stayed at 5 star hotels that didn't match this. I will definitely stay here again!

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Scottsdale. The resort grounds were so well taken care of and relaxing. Sitting by the pool at night felt very zen with fire torches and waterfalls. I'm already planning my next getaway here. The rooms were nicely cared for and everyone was very helpful and friendly. The on-line photos do not do the hotel justice. It was a wonderful hotel to stay at. Outstanding staff willing to bend-over backwards to help you. Rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. Plenty to do and see within walking distance. Business center was small but adequate. We'll definitely stay here next time we're in Scottsdale.

This hotel was better than I thought it would be. The staff was beyond friendly. We enjoyed the wine hour as well as the free transportation. Everyone was willing to help and give recommendations when asked. The pool was great, I loved the sand into pool idea. The rooms were clean and new looking, and the beds comfy. ...really good food, gym, spa and refreshing, medicinal margaritas to settle the nerves of a Freshman Mom! I will be returning...regularly .... for four years!

I went there assuming I would stay another night. I justw anted to check it out first. The room never got cooled down. Always felt "muggy". I checked out, whe they asked me how the stay was, I said, "so-so". He just shrugged his shoulders and didn't aske what's wrong, which told me, "they didn't care". Then he asked, goinf home now? I said, no, going […] to the HIlton. He made no furher comment. I don't believe this hotel cares about the stay. So, they shouldn't ask. I will never stay there again. The Hilton was GREAT! Devamı

Everyone was so friendly including all the guests which is rare, it's a happy and friendly culture clearly from the top down. We loved the pool, food at Taggia, coffee in the morning and happy hour in the evening. We had high expectations for a Kimpton property and it was highly rated on this and other travel sites. The service is very gracious and everyone we interacted with was extremely helpful. The lobby and pool area were very upscale and nice. And...then...the room. First of all, it was on the second floor with no elevator, which the front desk staff did […] warn us about. The building we were in (200) had all the hallway and room ambiance of a Howard Johnsons. The door to our hotel revealed chips with 7 different color paints - which told us this was an old motel that had been whitewashed (or pinkwashed, bluewashed, greenwashed as the case may be) many times. The room was small and basic and dark. The floor had some nice hardwood in it, and the bathroom tile was pretty, but it was an old, slightly dank feeling dark motel room - and had none of the luxury feel we have come to expect from Kimpton locations. Also, the A/C didn't go lower than 65 degrees as a setting, and while 65 should be perfectly adequate, in Scottsdale this 65 felt very warm and the room was uncomfortable and couldn't be set any cooler. We'll stay somewhere else in Scottsdale on future trips. Devamı

The location of this hotel is awesome. I always enjoy my stay at FireSky. The only downfall of my stay was the noise from reconstruction/renovations around the pool. Extremely noisy for couple hours. Overall, my stay was pleasant.

Really enjoyed the staff, location and surroundings at this hotel. Very nice grounds and pool area. Felt like we were miles away from anyone, yet we were in the middle of Scottsdale.

If you've ever stayed at a Kimpton Boutique you know that they strive to make your stay perfect. Firesky is the perfect example of this concept. Not only were the facilities amazing, the staff went above and beyond in every way. I may have found my new favorite Kimpton.

I had a great time at this resort. It was not a vast maze like most resorts so that made it very comfy. The employees were very helpful and catered to my every need. The only negative thing I could say is that if you order a drink at the pool, it will take awhile. They needed more staff to attend to the guests. Overall, it was an amazing place. We had a great stay. Customer service was wonderful. The room was quiet and beautifully decorated. The pool was nice, plenty of shady and sunny areas. Great section for toddlers to swim also. Great location... within short distance of many shops and restaurants. Did not really care for the onsight restaurant... very pricey and not worth it. Would bring […] our own water, snacks, etc. because to buy it at the hotel was very expensive, but we kind of expected that. Would definitely stay there again, but would take care of movies, snacks, etc. elsewhere to cut down on costs. Devamı
