Staff was great, but info on Hotels,com was misleading and inaccurate. We specifically chose this hotel because it offered a breakfast that states "50 hot and cold items...waffles, oatmeal, etc. etc. We do NOT consider a packet of oatmeal mixed with hot water a "hot" item, nor a frozen waffle popped into a toaster as a "hot" waffle item. Most reasonable […] people think that a "hot" item is something served hot-- not mixed with hot water or put frozen into a toaster. And while the room was clean, the bathroom (tub and commode only) was so small, when you went in, you were forced to shut the door behind you-- or you couldn't turn around to use the toilet. You basically had to back into the bathroom, plunk yourself down on the commode, and then shut the door. Awkward to the max. We have stayed at other 3 star and 3 1/2 star hotels on both Hotwire and Hotels.com for considerably less than what we paid for this 2 1/2 star. But for location convenience, it is just minutes from nearby shopping malls and attractions And again, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Devamı

If you have a car, this is the place to stay in Chicago....easy to get to the train or drive downtown. Free parking. Very nice staff, long-hours for the Continental B'fast, and comfortable rooms. La Quintas overall are dependable. We use this hotel whenever we come into the area. (If you want, there is a free shuttle to and from the airport)

One night stay- Classy hotel cheep for king cute attendant close to cheep 24 hour food options off of major highway, will stay at again if needed.

Great location right off HWY 88. Good value and all one needs, incl breakfast. FABULOUS new beds and linens!! Have stayed there before and will stay again and will recommend it!
"Pet friendly hotel!"
It was hard hard hard to find a pet friendly hotel in Chicago that would not cost too much and that would take a rottweiler. Their pet policy is any pet, any size! So those of you out there traveling like us with a big dog that is of a breed that gets discriminated have no worries! Head on over to this La Quinta where your pooch will stay comfy and […] so will you. For us humans the bedroom area was nice, very nice sheets, adequate TV, the beds were a little hard but that was not bad. The bathroom was a little too small and the curtain was too short so there was water everywhere but again not horrible. The night manager was very very nice when we checked in. We were hungry after a day out visiting Chicago and they gave us information on a pizza place open until 2am. He also gave us a room right by the elevator and right by the exit so it was convenient for the potty time of our dogs. This hotel was far from downtown Chicago, it was a 30 minute drive so that would be the only inconvenience. But as I said their pet policy is one of the best. I have seen that many La Quinta's are super pet friendly and I will continue to try to stay at them in the future. Devamı
"Great for Pets"
We often travel with our small dog. Even if other chains indicate they allow pets the deposits can be outrageous. This particular La Quinta is in a great location with great rates.

Very economical hotel in the midst of high-priced lodging. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable (and I'm particular), and the room was very clean, albeit a little small. The breakfast isn't much (coffee, juice, fresh fruit, pastries and muffins, fruit cocktail, frozen waffles), but what can you expect for the […] price? They'd be better off just having the cold food and pastries, bread, muffins, and bagels. The frozen waffles are a really bad idea. The biggest problem is smoking. The smoke permeates areas surrounding and on top of the smoking rooms, and seeps into non-smoking rooms. Time to do away with it altogether. Devamı

"Ideal location for me..."
Breakfast was ok... location was great. Hotel is not high class, but clean and free wifi was great. I will agree wih the other reviewers that the location was not the best marked.
"Good value"
No complaints. Location was good. Hotel was clean and convenient, plenty of parking. Continental breakfast is included- waffles, cereal, yogurt, pastries etc. Exercise room has stair stepper, bike and 2 treadmills. Overall very happy, good value for the money. Commute to downtown Chicago is 30 mins at best, 1 hour or more during busier times.

"Very clean, great place to stay - signage terrible"
We came in late at night and followed by GPS. There is so much construction going on around the site the GPS did not work and we had to turn around several times before we located a Home Depot and then saw a rather small sign pointing to the LaQuinta. It wasn't until then that we saw the large LaQuinta Inn sign. It is sort of located in the back of […] an area where there are stores and such and hard to see. "Great location & price"
The hotel is convenient to Chicagoland attractions in every direction, right off the expressway and close to two commuter train lines. Plenty of restaurants and shopping surroung the hotel. Very safe area. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was unappealing, and appropriate to the price of the motel. The hotel had just been "remodeled," […] said the desk clerk, therefore the satellite TV service in the rooms was difficult. Yep; barely half the channels worked. None of the electrical outlets by the bathroom sink worked, nor did the iron. The pool closed on Labor Day and the whirlpool was removed in the remodeling. Stayed there overnight. Although address is on Midwest Road, hotel entrance is really around the corner, behind Denny's (can't remember name of main street), hotel is not visible from street so it was very confusing especially at night. Wish there was a sign or something that'd let you know to go around the street. You can exit from hotel onto Midwest […] road, though. Hotel was good for value. "The location was perfect for us"
The location of the hotel was perfect for us and gave us access to Oakbrook Mall and Yorktown Mall and easy access to the expressways. My only complaint is the soundproof--you hear people conversations as they walk down the hallways. Also, on the morning of checkout the lady from housekeeping decides to knock on your door at 8:30am (waking you up) […] to remind you that checkout is today. Check out is at 12 noon, so why disturb someone when they are trying to get rest and when you know you are to checkout. "Good neighborhood, close to downtown Chicago"
This is the second time we stayed here. It is very clean, the staff is very nice. and it is priced very reasonable. It is only 20 to 30 minutes to downtown Chicago. We will definitely make this our regular hotel when we travel to Chicago. We only have one complaint and that is not enough TV channels. It is mostly news and sports. "Clean & Comfy"
Having never stayed at a La Quinta Inn, I wasn't sure how my stay would be. It was FANTASTIC! Not a fancy hotel, but exceptionally clean and well maintained! It's in a good/safe area with many shopping and eating options within minutes of the hotel. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of elbow room in the room. The breakfast is simple, no […] Belgian waffles to create and no scrambled eggs, but there are several options (oatmeal, cereal, hard boiled egg, fruit, pastries, frozen waffles to toast, etc.). "Good for the price"
This is a good budget hotel close to the interstate and shopping. No frills, but clean and quiet. Front desk staff person was very nice. The beds were quite uncomfortable...past their service life and too soft.
"Great budget place to stay"
This hotel was a good place to pull off the freeway, stay a night, and then continue on our way. It was pretty clean, extremely quiet, and felt safe. It was also close to shopping and food. The only downside to our stay was someone pulled the firealarm and we had to evacuate. But, still worth the money we paid to stay there.

A fine hotel, the only problem was to find it after the address, because the hotel is placed behind and cowered by a gas station and a Burger King.

My sister and I came for shopping and stayed 2 nights. Safe neighborhood, plenty of parking, friendly helpful staff, clean spacious rooms, and great breakfast.. It is 30 minutes from downtown Chicago (or 45 min. if traffic if heavy) and 5 minutes from the fabulous Oakbrook shopping center where there are great restaurants and stores.. Right up the street […] is a discount mall with TJMaxx, Nordstrom Rack and DSW. We come to Chicago 3 to 4 times per year and will now stay at this La Quinta every time! Devamı
"excellent place to stay"
This is an excellent place to stay. The property was clean and well kept. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was something they could not control - the road construction that made getting to them a challenge at first. Once we figured out the traffic pattern, that wasn't an issue.

The hotel was near major roads to travel to the city or the airport and lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful, pleasant. Breakfast was stocked with a nice variety.The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, It could have used a few more towel racks or robe hooks and the shower pressure was not that strong. "Difficult to locate."
Everything went perfect the on;y problem I had since I was visiting from out of town, the hotel address is not locatable on the GPS (tried two different, same results). Very difficult to locate from the main street.
