Asked for a non-smoking room, yet we had an astray. There we no sliding doors to the outside area. Door into the spa did not close. Swimming pool not really that nice to be in. Hotel staff (particularly the youngs ones) requires more service skills. For example: I asked reception if I recieve breakfast vouchers and she replied: um, ah I dont know and […] looked flustered. The sign to the restaurant reads please wait to be seated, and we were there 10mins earlier, at 6.05pm we still waited for the girl at the restaurant to show us our table but she did not. So I approached her instead which felt like I interupted her. Not welcoming at all. They saw us wait but did not acknowledge we were there. Devamı

Our group of four adults stayed at Rydges Rotorua for three nights in February 2012. The hotel itself was ok, rooms were big and clean. But I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone because of its unfriendly staff at the reception. We had booked wrong dates online via an agent. Trying to change the dates of our booking was just a big mess and the reception […] staff were very reluctant to help us. We booked this hotel for two nights while sightseeing in and around Rotorua. The front desk personnel were pleasant and helpful, the room was very spacious and comfortable, and the location was right within the city so getting around was easy. is good value hotel

my daughter from the uk got this deal on hotel.com. her and her partner were amazed with the hotel, location etc, and even a free breakfast was a bonus for the price! they recommend and i will definately be looking out for an offer on this hotel!

It was a real pleasure staying in Rydges Hotel Rotorua. Great rooms, well appointed, and great room service. Quiet in the evenings, lends itself to a good nights sleep. Good food in a great space at the Atrium. Overall, the hotel definitely adds to the whole experience of a stay at Rororua.

Very spacious but old-fashioned. Kitchen's ustensils not completed. Pool = water not clean. Not at all like in the internet photo.

This hotel has nice reception and very friendly staff at the front desk... the rest of the hotel is somewhat tired.\ loose fittings and bad finish to the decor are common throughout. Went there during early Nov 2011. The hotel was brilliant. Probably better than the town. But, if you're going there, this is a really good place o stay. Top quality at a reasonable price. Can I say more?

our room was huge, had a big spa bath and balcony overlooking the race course. staff were friendly and accommodating.

one of the best hotel in Rotorua, great view from ballcony, great indoor pool. only a bit far from city centre compare to other hotels. (about 3mins by car, 10-15 by walking)

Very convenient location to the sights in Rotorua.

Nice property, helpful and friendly staff

What a great experience at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in recommending places to go and see. The only downside to this hotel was that it probably has the worst gym and workout facility of any place we stayed in New Zealand. This could be a world class hotel with upgrades to these facilities.
