Enjoyed our stay with the exception of the manager's reception - here it is: hummus, vegetables & pita crackers. That's all. We arrived for our stay and at first the room we were assigned smelled like cigarette smoke, we asked for a change of room and had a new room in minutes. The rooms were a little "damaged" but still nice. The foyer in the center of the hotel was as beautiful as being in the Mayan ruins. The indoor pool was salty but still good for relaxing. The breakfast […] every morning was made to order and the staff each morning was kind and helpful. Though the line was very long and seating in the foyer/lobby was at a premium. No riff raff to worry about in the neighborhood and two members of security partolled the parking lot on foot each night. We would recommend this hotel to any family traveling to the Charlotte area. We were just spending a night there for a layover for spring break. The staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Beautiful front lobby and atrium. Only negative was a banging door going on outside our room, not sure if it was another guest or the maids elevator door. Stopped about 11pm. Breakfast didn't have quite enough tables and chairs […] for all the people and long line for the cooked food. Other negative was charged incorrectly for meal at hotel that we charged to our room. We were overcharged $17 but the corrected that when I told them. Just makes you wonder... I would recommend this hotel. Devamı

Cons: Wi-Fi is $9.95 per day, and per device. We took 2 laptops, 2 Kindle Fires, and 2 DSi's. This would have been an additional $60.00 just to let my kids play. The new industry standard for hotel is free Wi-Fi with no login. Two HD TV's were very nice, but cable only had 46 channels and did not include Disney. Pros: Spacious. Our room slept 6 people. […] The sofa bed was comfortable. My son (age 2) and I (6' 3") fell asleep on the sofa bed watching NCAA Championship game in Hi-Def. The swimming pool was outstanding. The chorine smell is very important. When children are in a pool you must use plenty of chorine. Breakfast was terrific, you can read about this in other reviews. Seeing two police officers at breakfast made us feel very safe. Three elevators is nice, we never waited. Happy Hour was great. I had a free Michelob Dark Amber draft! Thank you for a great stay. The hotel was great. Only thing wrong was the hot tub wasn't clean. It was disgusting.

I am in the middle of my stay and after continually being woken up by loud people, I felt compelled to write this review. This hotel isn't in the best part of town, its feels pretty rough. There always seem to be creepy people lurking in the parking lot. This property seems to cater to a lower class of clientele then what you expect to at a hotel at […] this rate. If you want to hear people whop and holler all day and night, then this is the place for you. If you go to bed at a reasonable hour and like a quiet, serene environment, then STAY AWAY! Overall great place to lodge while in the Charlotte area. Love the Omaha Steaks!! Security was excellent. A live jazz band would have done it for me!! Also the cooks at the breakfast buffet need a huge tip jar they were great !!!!!! Thanks Again

Great hotel, huge rooms, very clean, 2 TV's, 3 sinks, lots of mirrors and counter space, only draw back is 2 doubles, should be 2 queens. Manager's reception is a definite bonus and cooked to order breakfast beats any other hotel breakfast. Indoor pool was nice and warm, a bit on the shallow side but good for kids. Service, room/room comfort were great making that the hotel of my choice for life.

There was a football tournament in town and hundreds of kids (ages 7-15) were staying at the hotel. There is a huge atrium in the center of the hotel and all the rooms face the atrium. The kids were all running around until the wee hours of the morning, and the atrium just amplified all their noise. There is a railing that runs around the hallway to […] keep people from falling down into the atrium. The kids were banging on the railing all night. Obviously, the kids were the parents' responsibility, but if the hotel is going to book a tournament full of kids, they should at least warn us when we booked our room. The least they could have done is put us in a corner room a little out of the way of the sound coming up the atrium. Devamı

We loved our 4 night stay, so many amenities, the kids had a blast in the pool, we loved the breakfast and happy hour. The lines on the weekend for breakfast were really long, I would advise getting there early. The bathroom molding was a little damaged in one spot, and we would have preferred a tub (shower only) but otherwise the room was very spacious […] and the bed was very comfortable. Very nice place --I'd stay there again and recommend it highly. But, don't expect the breakfast to be be much. The omelets were very watery and completely tasteless, pastries exactly the same junk as at Holiday Inn Express and similar, but with even worse variety. Canataoupe and scrambled eggs were good.

This hotel wa much more than i bargained for the price. The room was very spacious and clean. Complimentary cook to order breakfast or buffet style was great, a real money saver. If your ever in Charlotte definitely this is a must stay

We stayed here while we were goin to a football game at bank of america stadium. The room was very nice and roomy for all of us to be comforatable. The breakfast buffet was great, especially the made to order omletts. The hotel was close th the interstate so the commute back and forth to the city wasn't bad at all. Myself and family had a great stay, really injoyed the breaskfast.

I feel like I am staying in a spa when I stay here. The waterfalls are wonderful and relaxing. Rooms are very clean and inviting. The Omaha Storehouse is also a very nice, and delicious touch.

This was a very nice hotel. It included breakfast everyday and a managers reception every night from 530-730pm with free drinks. The hotel is very clean and I would recommend it.

I always enjoy staying at the Embassy Suites chain. There was enough space for my family of 5 to sleep comfortably. Love the breakfast and the kids enjoyed the pool. The only things were that the furniture was a little beaten up, the bathroom door didn't close properly and the room smelled a little funny. But overall I like Embassy Suites.

This hotel is a fine hotel but a bit dated. The good part about my stay was the morning breakfast. I would recommend this hotel and I will stay here again. Convenient to the highway and comfortable.

We were bitterly disappointed that the shuttle service from the Light Rail left us stranded for more than 45 minutes 9:45 until 10:30 pm . The desk help indicated that we would have a 15 minute wait. 6 women were stranded in a dangerous section of town. when the shuttle driver arrived, he was not very helpful or at all apologetic. Great hotel for a quick weekend trip to the US Nat'l Whitewater Center! Breakfast was very good, although it was very crowded. Highly recommend.

Let me start by let you know I like Embassy Suites, but our stay would have been more pleasant if there wasn't pizza, paper, on floor in master bedroom, tomatoe sauce on bedspread and after speaking with the manager on duty, the only thing she offered was to send someone to clean the suite over. She could have given something for the inconvenience.

The hotel was beautiful ! The staff was friendly and helpful. I had an amazing time in this hotel due to the front desk always being willing and able to help. The cook to order breakfast was delicious! I would recommend this hotel to any and everyone

It is a nice hotel... bathroom wasn't as clean as it could be...tile was dirty. Diidn't leave garbage bag for all trash on second day. View was poor- had the maintenance roof view. We have stayed in Embassy Suite many times. But we had an unique experience with this hotel at Charlotte. In the middle of our second night stay, the fire alarm went off. At one o'clock in the morning, I grabbed my sleepy 5 years old girl walked down the stairs from the 5th floor. As soon as we went out the building, the security guard called us back […] in. Not to mention that the fire alarm went off two more times the same night. I thought the hotel owed all the guests that night an explanation of what had happened. Next morning, I checked out in person at the hotel front desk, thinking that I would be told of what had happened last night. To my disappointment, there was none. One thing I want to mention is the breakfast buffet. Food was excellent. But there was not enough tables, chairs, plates, serving trays, etc. As my husband said it was a "MAD" house. typical embassy suites breakfast fare prepared by the most congenial staff who never ceased to smile and offer kind words with their omlets. our stay was punctuated by recurring security alarms from 1AM through our departure at 10AM. initially, we evacuated as prompted and approached firefighters to inquire about the safety of our return. this happened […] repeatedly until a break in the alarms at 2:30AM. when the alarms repeated in the morning, we checked out. no staff member offered reassurance nor did anyone claim to know what was happening when asked. no room fees were deducted to compensate for our inconvenience. The water would not get hot to take a shower, I called the service desk and they told me they would call back after they called maintenance. I had to call them twice for them to tell me the same thing. THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK, I just sat and waited for the water to get warm. Breakfast was good, room was clean, service sucked. Oh and I forgot, the […] fire alarm went off at 1:00 AM. They had us evacuate the hotel. 20 mins later we were allowed back in. 2 parents and 3 small children. The sleeper sofa was like a hamick, it sunk in the middle. The bath room has no fan, with five people, it matters. The fire alarm went off four times in the middle of the night and we had to leave the building in the rain. Thanks for nothing. We paid to sleep in a nice hotel, what we got was a nightmare. Came here for a two day business trip. The hotel is in a sketchy neighborhood but close to the freeway so you can get to downtown Charlotte pretty easily. Clean rooms and friendly staff. One thing that bothers me, they charged $10/night for wifi. And it was so slow that my cell phone had faster browsing. The days of me paying for internet connectivity […] are over. Room was on street side of hotel on Sat night. Street noise all night. Parking lot felt unsafe. Room was ok but could use heavier comforter and firmer pillows on bed. Not the most comfortable Embassy Suites we have stayed in. Breakfast-grits were instant. Felt like too many corners were cut. Will not return.

The stay was even better than what I expected!! The room was beautiful, very clean, and the hotel enviroment was lovely. The breakfast was awesome!! The staff was very accomodating and pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel and would most certainly stay there again!!

the hotel is right off the I77 on our way to Hilton Head. The hotel is very nice and has always been clean. I highly recommend staying for the money.
