Omni Austin Hotel at Southpark - Austin

Our stay at Omni was very good. The room was very clean, the bed linen delightful. The service from the employees was wonderful. The only thing we saw as substandard was the room was rather dark and could have used more light. Also although the bathroom was clean the tile walls had mold in tub area.

Was great except that I found grape stems on the floor. Kind of grossed me out. Made me wonder if the floor had been vacuumed.

The hotel is well appointed. You can see the effects of the economic downturn in the number of employees on site. There are not as many as in years past, but they did a good job of making sure all was addressed. Housekeepers were excellent.

Nice pool. Very friendly service. Nice décor inside. Great television compared to most other hotels.

Very reasonable rates for this quality. Also very convenient location, 5 min drive to Congress, Lady Bird Lake and Downtown.

Overall, very very nice staff from housekeeping to guest services. We love the Omni experience. A little more attention needs to be paid to those little extras. That is what is offered and that's why we stay. Quality of in room dining food was a bit disappointing. Bread for sandwich was a little burnt.Desserts were a little on the bland side and wife's […] salad was a little wilted. Had to call guest services for pre-requested morning paper for both mornings and had to call for extra condiments that had been ordered with meal the first time. House keeping was very good. Disappointed that fountain was not operating when we arrived.just an empty blue painted cement hole. Lots of wonderful amenities: pool, whirlpool, exercise room, business center, spa. Overall, wonderful place and we will stay again and again when we come to Austin!!! Devamı

It is old and not well kept. The front desk was not nice or helpful. The door from balcony didn't work. Not at all what most Omni hotels look like.

The hotel is a bit worn around the edges, but the staff are outstanding, the bathroom clean and the bed comfortable.

We had a great stay. The only very clear issue is that there is a constant wait on the elevator. They should have put in twice as many when it was built. We heard several people comment on how long they had to wait on the elevator which echoed our experiece. Could have walked the 8 flights in shorter time....Everything else was great! The location is convenient for us, but it's also very noisy with the freeway right there. Trying to carry on a conversation around the pool is a real struggle. We thought the Hampton Inn next door was quieter, and the rooms are more modern.

Very clean, spacious, nice hot tub-pool area. Well maintained. Definitely would stay again our next visit to Austin!

Excellent place for privacy, not one knock at my door. Although it is place oddly at a major road intersection, you soon forget you are only 100 ft fromthe interstate. No joke, once inside the decor is very "classy" and open. Staff was pleasent at every interaction.

My daughter and I were attending a 2 day Hair Show at the Austin Convention Center. We loved the Omni Hotel. We've stayed at Omni Hotels in the past and the service is always over the top. Loved our stay.

the lobby was great, but the lighting inside rooms could use an overhaul. Could barely see when in the shower. Everything else was great. Seemed plenty clean and comfy to me. But i personally like to be able to see when using the mirror or taking a shower.

The beds and pillows were so awesome that I didn't want to leave the room. Best sleep ever!!!

The hotel staff was very friendly and even opened up the store late at night so that I could purchase a soft drink.

A great hotel location if you want to stay out of downtown but close enough to get in and out within 15 minutes. We picked this for an Art event and all the downtown hotels were booked. It was very well maintained and the staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was also good and made to order at a buffet price.

Beautiful hotel. Has all amenities.... robes, refrigerator with mini bar, dryer, iron, coffee maker, movies, 24 hour room service... but no microwave and they charge for wifi, which I hate. Other than that, it was perfect. I will stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was very clean and the food was outstanding.

First Time in any Omni Hotel. We loved the Location. The room is clean and has good eminities. Will stay there again and also want to experience Omni Hotels at other locations

Very nice staff!!! Completely pleased with the stay

The Omni is about 5 mins from downtown 6th street and very easy access from hwy 35. I would recommend it and I think it was a very friendly hotel and active during the day with family and friends enjoying the pool!

Despite all of the nice things about this hotel, it was poorly designed. I could hear every word of phone conversations, or other conversations from the room next door. I assume that they could do the same. In addition, I could hear the television, as well as every door or drawer that was opened or closed. Doubt they can fix this. The sink was stopped up and would not drain but I just dealt with it since there only one night. I do need a copy of my hotel invoice. Can you email me a copy of the invoice or do I need to call Omni in Austin?

I regularly stay overnight in Austin and I always use this Hotel. The bedrooms, particularly the beds, are excellent and I love the swimming pool and the convivial bar. The service they provide is first class

I am so stupid! I did not realize there were two Omni's in Austin. I thought I booked the one in the entertainment district! After my embarrasment went away it really worked out fine

I reserved 2-rooms with 2 double beds for this trip because 4 boys went to Austin for golf trip.This information was on my confirmation sheet. When I checked in, front desk said they didn't have any double beds room. They said only "Sorry" and gave us 1-king bed room and 1-children's room with 2 twin beds. Manager on duty gave us complimentary breakfast […] but that was not enough to cover this mess. 2 men stayed in King bed room ang other 2 men stayed in kids bed. It was very unhappy night. Very nice hotel and fun lobby bar, but the road noise from the nearby highway is extremely loud. The staff was very accommodating and offered to bring up a sleep/sound machine, but the highway noise made it difficult to sleep.
