"Close to sites"
It was nice & convenience from where we were going while we were there.

Booked late for a meeting. Older Hampton Inn. Sourounding area was a bit scary. Black iron fence around this hotel and Marriott across the street. No good resteraunts anywhere. Not staying there again.

"Close enough for a driving break"
Free breakfast always helps with a tight budget. Staff was nice & fun to talk with. Hotel across from a strip mall. Good for small purchases. Didn't care for "pets allowed", but there was no smell and hear no noise. Maybe now was there on those days.
GREAT GREAT !! The staff was wonderful and so nice to all 4 of us. They treated us like family and were so good to us. We had an accident heading home and had to be towed back to Memphis for an extra night (waiting on parts) and we went back for another night. They welcomed us with open arms and acted as though they missed us and constantly told us […] they hated to see us go...and did everything they could to accommodate us... GREAT GREAT GREAT Devamı

we call it southern hospitality, the staff at this hotel has got lots of it.
"Wonderful stay"
Had a great stay. Rooms were welcoming and cozy. Halls, however, had a slight musty odor. Breakfast was also very enjoyable.

We were only passing through Memphis and can't say much about how near or far the hotel is from local attractions but it's a quite nice hotel, just off the freeway. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and the free breakfast was good
Bathroom was clean except noticed hair in shower that wasn't mine. I would recommend this hotel to a friend. Breakfast was very tasty. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I went to memphis for a class, so this hotel worked out well for me. My class was only a couple of minutes away. Lots of places to eat and only a few minutes from downtown and other shops and restaurants. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable (king size). The lobby was very well kept. However, the rug throughout the hotel needs to be […] replaced. Looks a bit old. Once they do that, then it could look brand new because everything else was well kept. People were exceedingly helpful. accomadations were great. Will definetly return to this hotel again soon
when a hotel has a fence around the parking lot it makes me ask, why is this needed?...drove around the neighborhood to find something to eat and the surroundings felt very uncomfortable.

I write this same review each time I saty at your hotel. I do like the hotel and the service but your comforters are really bad. All the stuffing goes to the corner of the square leaving the other 3 corners empty. If you would correct this your hotel would be the best.
"Convenient, Comfortable, and Clean"
The staff was exceptional nice esp. Patrick (guy @ front desk) in meeting our needs. I had booked 2 rooms for my immediate family and my brother had booked a room for his family there too. Patrick seen to it that both my rooms and his were on the same floor which was AWESOME for the young counsins. Patrick also got us booked for the complimentary shuttle […] that runs to the Memphis airport(which is only 5 miles away) for 430 the next morning. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The hotel itself was in good condition, but I think the air conditioning for the hallways was broken...IT WAS HOT!!! we are talking >85 degrees. The air conditioning in the rooms worked great, but getting from upstairs to downstairs was murder with luggage and small kids. Only other complaint I have is someone tried to break into my vehicle while we there. They didn't get in just did some damage to my key lock...kinda looked like they stuck a screwdriver in it and pried on it. My brother's vehicle was parked right beside mine, and no one bothered his, so guess I was just the lucky one. Overall, hotel was very nice. If I had to stay in Memphis again, I would probably stay here, but I would definitely park directly in front of a surveillance camera. Devamı
"Not a bad deal"
Good location right next to highway. Room clean. Shower could use clorox spray. AC not working in hallways or elevator.

The hotel was okay. Pool was alright but had a broken jacuzzi. Rooms were simple but clean Location was close to all (as is everything in Memphis) but the neighborhood was a little dicey to say the least.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was wonderful, the rooms were very clean, the pool was nice and clean and the breakfast was very good. The only bad thing was the elevator and the hallways were so hot! No air conditioning in either. Also the vending machines were all out of order except for 1 on the second floor.
"Large groups of teens"
Hotel and everything about it was fine. Great breakfast, great room. People ruined it for us. Large groups of unruly teens made it impossible for us to enjoy the pool. Elevator time with them was uncomfortable. The 5am fire alarm that they set off was ridiculous. My suggestion would be to keep groups of teens on the first floor where hopefully they […] could be better managed and let the group know that only 5-10 kids per hour in the pool. "One of the best hotels"
The hotel was great. The staff was friendly and the rooms was clean. I ever lost my four year granddaughter and Carolyn walked the halls looking for me. When I go back to Memphis, I willn't stay anywhere else.

"Great Stay!"
We had a great time at this hotel. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel service was excellent with very friendly staff. The breakfast was extensive; lots of options for everyone with hot and cold items. The lady attending the breakfast area was wonderful and put everyone in a good mood for the day. Hotel staff friendly and accomadating. Conditions clean and comfortable. Would stay here again when in Memphis.
"Hotel Surpasses it's Surroundings"
We stayed here during one of their busy weekends but Shae at the front desk was very professional and polite and the check in was fast. The room was clean, they only problem was that the room smelled of smoke, so i'm assuming we were in a smoking room. "Hampton Memphis was just right for a night"
Staff was very courteous and went out of their way to help. Hotel was clean. Dinner recommendation was terrific and I would stay here again even though it's about 15 minutes from the airport.

"Clean, convenient, great breakfast!"
My family really likes Hampton Inn, but it is usually out of our budget. I was pleased to find a great nightly rate for the Hampton Inn Memphis (not downtown) and jumped on it to book a night. We were attending a conference at the Convention Center downtown. The hotel is right off of highway 240. We were unfamiliar with Memphis but this was a problem, […] the hotel is conveniently located. As far as the accommodations and breakfast, everything was great. Belgian waffles! Juices! Coffee! Bagels! Cheese omelettes! and of course cereals, yogurt, fruit and the rest of Hampton's extensive breakfast bar. Lastly, the wifi was fast and accessible everywhere in the hotel. Great experience, and if we go back to Memphis, we will go back to the Hampton Inn there. Devamı

The staff was very helpful in providing accurate directions to us. The breakfast was very good. We expected coffee and sweet rolls. We were surprised to find ceral, oatmeat, grits, juice, waffles, sausage, eggs etc. All of the staff was friendly and spoke when passing in the halls. "Ideal hotel"
The hotel was clean and in good condition. The breakfast buffet was better than most with eggs and potatoes. The clerk at the front desk was absolutely sweet and helpful...even while the telephone was ringing and others were trying to get her attention. Overall, a good experience and I am inclined to stay there again.
Clean and well equipted room. Very comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast.

Front desk personnel were helpful,polite and courteous. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. If you were in a hurry in the morning the hotel provided a "grab bag" for you to take with you. We recommend this hotel

"Hampton Inn at South Perkins"
Overall, very nice hotel. The room was as expected, clean and comfortable. It was the end of August so the air conditioning had to keep up all the time, but it stayed cool. The staff was friendly But not too pushy. The location versus the cost was great. For our needs, we were 8 minutes away from downtown Memphis. Very pleased and would stay here a […] gain. Devamı

"Well maintained and operated"
We liked all aspects of our stay except that the temperature of the lobby area and the breakfast room was excessively hot, either they were having a/c problems or they were saving the dollars by turning up the thermostat temp.

People at desk were very professional. I got some info of the area. The only bad thing was at breakfast there was no one there to replace the pancake batter nor the utensils to eat with. And the juice maker was always empty.

The hotel is nice, but the neighborhood offers nothing. The only strip mall is 3/4 empty. Nothing nearby except fast food and low-end grocery stores. Just to get a decent meal was a 5-mile drive.
