Best Western Plus French Quarter Landmark Hotel - New Orleans

The hotel is nice and was clean and well maintained. Noise at night was an issue due to the open-air circular layout where the rooms surround the pool/lounge area. This is 3 blocks off the main drag on bourbon, and for safety sake, at night, you should only use St. Ann to get back and forth to the hotel. Late at night, I can't say I felt entirely comfortable […] on St. Ann though. If you are going to be out late, I would probably find something on Bourbon. If not, the Best Western should be ok, but then, if you are the type of person who won't be out late, you probably won't like the noise late at night in this hotel either. Devamı

We loved our stay in New Orleans, and this hotel was perfect for us with two school-age children. We went sight-seeing by day and came back to swim in the gorgeous courtyard pool in the evening. Beautiful park with water, bridge and sculptures across the street. Walking distance to a cemetery and Jackson square. rooms were nice and spacious,very clean,looked recently renovated. hotel was very quiet,location to french quarter was perfect and a full hot free breakfast every morning! you cant go wrong staying at this hotel! also the staff was very helpful and courteous.

The management was very helpful. We did not like our room next to the elevator, so they moved us immediately. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept like babies. I would recommend this hotel.

I had a great stay at the Landmark Hotel! It was close to Bourbon Street (3 blocks), Decatur Street (6 blocks), Cafe du Monde (6 blocks) and Louis Armstrong Park (right across the street). We spent 4 nights here in May 2013. The staff was exceptional. They checked us in early. Held our bags for us, and were always there with a map and directions. The breakfast was nice, and the location was great. Easy access throughout the quarter, an easy walk to the Park and Ride and St Louis #1. I found the hotel room quite nice. The staff was very helpful in mapping out our route to different destinations. Right across the street was the Louis Armstrong Park which was an added feature. We were six blocks from Bourbon Street which was away from the noise and the crowds. I would recommend this hotel!

staff friendly, breakfast very good, hotel could be spruced up. Because of all the smokers around the courtyard we did not feel comfortable using the pool area or sitting out.

I have enjoyed my stay at Best Western for the quality of their breakfast and location. Excellent bike rental service nearby. Grocery, bistro and restaurant nearby.the most amazing was to hear that Best Western has lodged and taken care for over 2 weeks of people chased out of their house during Katrina. But Best Western in New Orleans was the most expensive in the area, and the only one that we could not find discount for our stay from New Orleans publicity booklet and TouristInformation agency. We spent one night at hotel on our way to a family vacation in Alabama. Hotel room is snug but still very comfotable. Room was clean and well maintained. Hotel staff was very helpful and directed us to surronding destinations. Very close to major attractions and we were able to walk safely as a family, but would not reccomend walking alone. I found this hotel to be perfect for us it was close to the things we wanted to see and far enough that we didn't have to put up with the noise, the continental breakfast was excellent and a big plus, the room was comfortable and clean, parking was a little tight but other than that I give it an A+ I would definitely stay again

I liked the building because of its historic look. I have also choosen Best Western French Quarter for its proximity of the busy French quarter, and the good breakfast offered. Very close to Boubon Street, but quiet enough to sleep at night! NIce people, helped us with getting a cab, decent breakfast inthe morning. Very friendly staff.

For the price it was definitely worth the stay. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was a little cozy and beds were small but that was the only downside. The free breakfast was a great amenity and the food was always fresh and a nice variety. The bar located downstairs was very convenient and the pool/sitting area outside was nicer […] that expected. When we first got there they could not find my reservation and that woman was NOT very nice but another gentleman took over and found it and we were even able to check in early and he told us some really cool places to go. About 6 or so blocks to bourbon st., and about the same to river front. The Hotel itself is a bit older, the front staff and bar staff are friendly,. older hotel, the carpets need steam cleaning, not just vacuuming, they were really dirty, and made our white socks dirty walking on them. For the budget conscious traveler this hotel was perfect! The staff were particularly lovely. The rooms, although small, were clean and welcoming. The courtyard was beautiful and helped to make the hotel feel like it belonged in the French Quarter. And the included breakfast was better than expected!

The staff were the best in assisting in the arrangements of tours. The court yard is beautiful, truly New Orleans style. The breakfast was wonderful. The location is perfect in the French Quarter.

The hotel was as expected (clean), and breakfast was fine. The waffles have a fleur-de-lis. The parking costs $20/day plus tax, but that is fairly decent for being on the upper edge of the French Quarter.

IT WAS A NICE HOTEL IN A GREAT LOCATION, BUT THE ROOM WAS A LITTLE SMALL FOR TWO DOUBLE BEDS AND FOUR PEOPLE.
