I've been staying in the Fitz on and off for 30 years. If they spent a dime on room maintenance I might stay there again. Until then......

I've stayed in Vegas many times at many hotels. This was the first time I've stayed at the Fitz and it's now on my list of top 3 budget hotels. PROS: I found the price to be VERY reasonable, the room was comfortable and clean, check-in was fast, Freemont street (downstairs) has a lot of activities in a short walk, restaurants and other activities are […] pretty cheap, the front desk staff and service staff were friendly and helpful. The inexpensive price included a decent complimentary breakfast. The beds were comfortable and clean. The room had a small safe which was nice. Water pressure and temperature in the shower was good. CONS: You can hear the Freemont Street Experience music in your room. I was on the 15th floor and the music was still quite loud. It lasts 5-10 minutes on the hour from 8 PM through midnight. Also, parts of the hotel were under construction making the lobby loud and water service was disconnected from 1 AM - 4 AM. BOTTOM LINE: I would absolutely stay here again. For the price, it's hard to beat what we got. Were there things that could have been better? Sure. If all you need is a clean and comfortable room with a great price, this is the hotel. Devamı

Convience for my work with Furniture Market affordable comfort, bargain priced 16oz Heinekens, tasty very affordable foods, Fitz Club Comps, dealers willing to take my money, friendly and helpful staff all made the 5 day stay extremely pleasant...Can't wait to see what the renovation of the lobby bar area turns out to be...

Everything was great. Love being near Freemont St.

Hotel is older and I rated our room a 3 because when we got in our room there was a big fan/blower going. Must have had something spill on carpet prior to our arrival but carpet was dry when we got in the room. I could tell the carpet hadn't been vacuumed (probably because of spill). But all in all, we had a good stay. Bed was comfy. Ladies at the desk […] were very nice and helpful. Had a good breakfast at the casino's restaurant and waitress was friendly. Clean and quiet. No doffeepot in room, but included a breakfast.

A little older hotel but clean and staff was very helpful, Will stay again for the reasonable price and ours even included a real;y nice FREE breakfast!

The hotel is currently being remodeled, and after staying there for a night, I can understand why. However, the staff was great and the free breakfast was excellent. It was great to walk right out onto Fremont street.

We always spend our first night in Vegas on Fremont St. Loved the Fitz. The only problem was the noise. But it's Vegs. What do you expect? We will be back at the Fitz.

Had a great room, bed was comfortable, but old tv that you can't see over your toes. Water is shower wouldn't shut off, but.... all in all comfortable for the price we paid. Casino is crowded and too smokey for me... But we were on the 30th floor and had a great view and far enough away to drown out the noise from the Fremont Experience. Very Poor Facility bbooked way in advance for non-smoking room and still got smoking room! None of drains would drain properly!

I recommend the hotel to my friends and the downtown area is superior to the Strip. Lot's to see and do all in a few blocks.

Older hotel, needs new carpets, got there late so did not get room with 1bed got 2 doubles, breakfast was great.

I stay in this hotel pretty much everytime I go to Vegas and will continue to do so. This time I had brought 2 other friends with me and they very much were impressed as well. The Fitz made me look good. Thank you.

This is a good downtown Las Vegas hotel for the money, especially if they throw in a free breakfast. Self parking is tight, and the valets block off the 1st 6 floors for themselves, so parking is a bit more of a hassle than most strip hotels, but about the same as other hotels in the Fremont Street area.

Room was excellent for value; staff friendly and helpful Would recommend to anyone.

The only thing I hate is those stupid little coffee pots that make one cup. And they supplied exactly a one cup packet. The beds were comfortable and it wasn't noisy. The room was not smokey.

The hotel sits right on the Fremont Experience, in the downtown district. It opens up to all the classic casinos and all the other great entertainments in that area. It also has some great tables, with $5 poker and 21, and pays out 7.5-1. The rooms weren't great, but were a place to sleep.

it was a great hotel we were on the 32nd floor but some guy had a cheap cigar either in the hallway or nextdoor and the smoke went right into our room. Other than that it was great.

We reserved a room with a king bed but were given two doubles. When asked about the reservation we were told it really doesn't matter what you reserve the rooms are given out on a first come first serve basis. However; an acquaintenance of ours checked in after we did and was given a king bed. I think the reservation really doesn't matter but what color […] your players card is does....we'll stay again because we like the location but will keep our fingers crossed we don't get those horrible double beds again. Hard to pick any nits but there may be a couple. The beds did not have fitted sheets. I know, not much of a big deal. The other thing was cigarette smoke in the room. Not much and it may have just been on my clothes after visiting the casino but I did notice it. On the other hand. Great folks, great location, good food, free comp breakfast, nice people […] dealing at the tables, and I enjoyed the View Bar. The Fremont Street area is way better than the strip and the Fitz is a great spot to stay. Devamı

I booked this hotel because of the price and the location close to family. I will not stay here again, the noise was awful.

I had never stayed downtown before in Las Vegas. I was bit hesitant that is why I only booked one night. What a surprise the room was great, cannot beat the location it is ON Fremont Street. The breakfast was a joke, but the pasta buffet between 3 and 6PM was fantastic, except our waitress (Stephania???) was useless forgot our steak as well as the order […] for the people at an adjoining table. Great room rates,Clean room,Good pay back on the slots. Good security and the Staff very helpful. A must see is on Fremont St.

Everything was great... and we got free breakfast (which really hit the spot the 'morning after'.

We stayed in a non smoking room but the smell of smoke is so thick throughout the hotel that our bedding reeked with smoke...the free breakfast was not a real deal...normally very cheap anyway and the restaurant was so smokey we couldnt stay anyway. Had a great time in this hotel, the only thing i see is that they allowed smoking in the all casino, I think it should be an area for them...for everything else excellent...

The Hotel is really bad, I had a reservation for 1 King Bed - Non-Smoking room, but when I've reached the Hotel, the front desk even didn't mention me about any changes to my reservation, they just gave me the key, when I've stepped into the Hotel, it was a Smoking Two Bed, the Room is really dirty, the carpet was stinking, and when I've reached the […] front desk they said, thats what we've got, we are sold out for night we have only this room available for you, they didn't even refund me the money, I've left the Hotel immediately and checked in at different hotel. I ENJOYED MY STAY, I BOOK 2 ROOMS AS ALWAYS THE STAY WAS GOOD.COMFORT ROOM WAS GOOD I HAD A PROBLEM WITH TH BATHROOM &SHOWER ROOM NEEDED TO BEA LITTLE CLEANER I ASK TO HAVE MY ROOM CHANGED THE FIRST ROOM WAS DIRTY AND SMELL.THEY CHANGED IT. ALL WENT FINE

We had never really spent any time in Fitzgeralds on previous trips to Vegas, but it was the price and location that attracted us. On the good side, the shower had good water pressure, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was well cleaned and housekeeping responded quickly to the 1 request we made for more pillows. We enjoyed the free breakfast. […] Staff was helpful and friendly On the bad side, the hotel was clearly run down in all areas. We could not spend much time in the casino as the lack of air filters made us uncomfortable. The blackjack tables were dirty and stained with cigarette burns on them. There was not much variety in slots as well. We needed to use the computer and it was not up to par and we did not get the information we needed at the time. If we were sure of updates, we would try the hotel again, if no updates we would not return since there are so many other places to stay. Devamı

Tough not as nice as the upgraded Plaza , I always like to stay at the Fitz, especially the free breakfasts. The Fremont Street Experience is great and getting better. The $2.00 beer there and low min bets can't be beat as well as the free bands is a plus.

The only problem was on Saturday upon returning to the hotel, I was sent away because there was no parking left in the parking structure,and valet was taking no more cars. Finding a place to park was very diffucult.

the Fitzgerald hotel in downtown Las Vegas was a excellent choice I made. The room had a wonderful view of the mountains, It was like looking at a beautiful picture every morning. very clean, very, very reasonable in price and very good service.
