Super 8 Bossiercity Shrev Area - Bossier City

Stayed at the Bossier City, LA Super 8. I thought the hotel far exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff was VERY friendly. The room was GREAT. Very nice furniture. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Quiet!!!! My only complaint is that they do not allow pets. Other than that, I liked the hotel and will certainly stay there again.

Everything was fine except for the noise. Very close to the highway and very active train track.

Within first 5 min had to kill an insect

We chose this place because the review looked ok for the price, however the hotel was very out dated, very close to the interstate and a railroad track therefore very noisy. The room was very out dated needed repairs, there was a kitchen sink!?!? Which also needed repairs by the way!! The staff was very rude, even the man who appeared to be the manager, […] he was extremely rude!! The Continental breakfast was a joke, the juices were sour and tasted ruined, the only food that was even set out was waffle batter, of which there was only enough for two waffles. There was no milk or any other food items, except coffee. The breakfast room was very hot, I can only assume they were wanting to say on electricity. Horrible place to stay away, no run away. We've stayed in this hotel before with no problem. This time, however, on our second night's stay, bedbugs bit my husband. He was itching for days after the stay and I've thoroughly cleaned our clothes (you DO NOT want to bring bedbugs home!!!). Great location. Off the interstate. On dead end. Quiet.

Our room was a non-smoking room that butted up to a smoking room (the whole complex seemed to be set up this way) The entire stay, the smell of smoke came through our bathroom vent. The breakfast was horrible, the train near by is loud, and the walls are paper thin. I would not stay here unless you had no other choice.

My wife and I were very pleased with the room, the friendliness of the people and the service we received. It made our stay a very pleasant one after a long drive.

We stayed at the hotel for the goerge strait concert. I booked it a day before the concert and it was just what we need. Close to century center and close to casinos

We didn't plan to stay overnight in Shreveport and decided to at the last minute. We were very pleased with the location and cleanliness of the Hotel. The staff were friendly. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the noise from interstate -- VERY loud. The noise from the A/C tuned out most of it, but I could still hear traffic, especially during the early […] morning. Clean and good location, BUT noisy making it hard to get a good night's sleep. We could hear others from adjacent rooms, constant train horns, frig compressor was loud, toilet water runs and pipe drain noise from upper room. Shreveport/Bossier City is known for lots of trains, so beware. Staff seem to be overworked, slow or no housekeeping. We had to […] go to the office to get more towels, TP, etc. Devamı

Family stay in three rooms on your estate.One of the room did not have hot water.That was a real dispointed for my family memeber.We spoke to the hotel.attendance.But no result.

that is the sound you will hear all night long. you are very close to a rail road crossing . i got to my room after midnight and left at 9 am. during that time , there were 4 trains that went by blowing their horns like there was no tomorrow. the hotel has done some plumbing, none of it all that good. the coverup work was horrible . there was something […] glued partway to the tub that looked like a plastic carpet. the unstuck side of it made me want to puke! Stayed in a queen non-smoking room. very impressed with all the storage space for our clothes. The room itself was clean and smelled nice. Had to ask for the iron/ ironing board and the breakfast was adequate. Would stay again.

The hotel was good for the week. It was very close to everything. Lots of shopping and places to eat. I only wish they had a swimming pool.

Good location, one of the cheaper deals in town. The room was fairly ran down, the bathroom was not clean and it took the A/C unit a couple of hours before it was comfortable. You get what you pay for.

Although none of the casinos are in walking distance, this Super 8 location was easy to get to and close enough for me. The only problem was the nearby train track. When I finally arrived back to my room and went to bed, I couldn't go to sleep because a train was coming through. Once the train was done, I went right on to sleep. For the money this was a great place to stay. Very convenient location, clean rooms, nice staff. I would definitely stay there again.

great proximity to casino's, freeway. Great for a quick stay if you can get past the noise from passing trains. room is basic but in good condition and clean. Front desk staff was courteous. Will stay again.

Good location for gambling (close to casinos) & dining. Not too far from downtown. Only bad thing about it was it was very close to railroad tracks & an airport. It didn't bother us, but it may bother you.

the room was very nice and clean we had a comfortable stay, i will stay there the next time we are in bossier city

good for the money, close to casinos and other destinations that i had on my itinerary. overall good experience.

the bathroom still had used soap in the shower from the previous guest. the bathroom sink faucet came up as you tried to turn the water on. over-all the place was not well kept and it was over priced for the condition in which it was in.

Average hotel, walk to a few chain fast food places, pretty close to the casinos there ( we didnt go). pay washer and dryer which we took advantage of. Nobody mentioned the TRAIN!!! pretty close to hotel, and repeatedly blows the whistle every time it comes through the intersection. It woke me up at least 3 times during night. Interstate also audible […] in room. Hotel has no control over road and train noise, so i cannot fault them, but It was not a restful stop. Devamı

My stay there was comfortable and the room clean enough. Everything worked and the staff was very polite and accommodating. The grounds was clean and there was painting going on there to spruce the place up. I would stay there again and it is very convenient to I-20 and Shreveport and surrounding areas. Good buy.

We arrived very early and we went to see if they would call us as soon as the room was avaliable and they went ahead and let us check in 4hrs early which was great we were SO tired. Room was clean and for a smoking room it didnt stink at all. We were very pleased the only thing which is NOT the hotels fault is the highway noise after a fun filled night […] is very loud.... A little outdated, but very clean and nice size room. Comfortable bed, but I would recommend bringing your own pillow. The only major downside is a nearby train track. I heard three trains during the night.
