I was overall impressed with this Mercure. Room service didn't always leave cups/glasses, but a call to the front desk brought them promptly. Front desk was helpful arranging tours, cabs to train stations, information, etc. Our mattress was broken, but serviceable. They offered to replace, but we declined. Great location with many good restaurants just adjacent to hotel with easy walk. Promenade across the road. Nice Carnivale in February/March was very entertaining with something happening all the time. Need to get tickets early - recommend Procheens seats. Breakfast was good but busy. Still good value. Wonderful hotel, just a few steps to everything. Went for Christmas week and the city was festive. Hotel is almost across the street from 2 different tour bus lines. Four block walk and a one euro bus fare gets you to Monaco and Monte Carlo or Cannes. Hotel staff was friendly and efficient.

This hotel was in a fantastic location, right next to the beach and main shopping area. Even when eating breakfast, the view was gorgeous. Couldn't have asked for better. One thing - the front next needs to explain how the curtains work - we ended up sleeping two nights with them open!

Nice, comfortable hotel on the Promenade. Bus stop right outside the door to the airport - excellent! Very handy to to the restaurants for evening meals, and not too far from the old town (a nice stroll along the Promenade) Unfortuanately did not have a good wi-fi signal in our room, so ended up skyping and checking emails down in the dining room. This is a lovely hotel in the best spot in Nice, right on the Promenade des Anglais! They have a multi-lingual staff who are all extremely courteous and genuinely concerned with their guests' happiness. I will absolutely stay again.

This Hotel is well located. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were okay. For location alone I recommend this hotel. 3 Star rating is pretty accurate.

Excellent service but most importantly great location--across the beach and many restaurants.

Great location and good value for money hotel. Arriving by car is not easy and parking is not on site. Room was a long way from elevators.

The Mercure prominade hotel in Nice has a great location, just across the road from the beach. It is also surrounded by cafes and eateries and is near the heart of the best shopping the city has to offer, whilst only being about a 20 minute walk (at best) from the main railway terminal. The airport bus also stops just outside the hotel entrance which […] is another major plus. In terms of the hotel itself, it would be fair to say that it has seen better days. The rooms are small and rather dark. The bed was harder than our floor at home! While the bathroom has everything you need, it is rather tight, almost as if it has been attached to the room as a last minute addition. The one thing I can say about the rooms is that they 'encouraged' me to get out and about! The staff of the hotel were helpful and spoke enough English for us to get by. With so many eateries nearby - including one just across the road where you could watch the beach and the world go by over a great breakfast, I didn't sample the food fare on offer at the hotel, but was told by other guests that it was exactly that... only fare. Nice is a great city to explore so would definitely recommend this property if you are travelling to a strict budget and are looking to get out and about as much as possible. If you are looking to relax a bit more around the hotel during your stay, a more up market hotel might be the go. Devamı

We got the ocean view room even though it was a little bit more than our budget. My cousin who lived in France for 10 years recommended to book a hotel on the Promenade des Anglais. Mercure hotel has ocean view rooms at reasonable price. Mercure shares the building with Le Meridien hotel and uses 3 bottom floors. We got there early in the morning and […] left our luggage at the front desk until check-in. We felt so lucky to have a corner room which had two big windows-one to the beach, the other facing west. After a few days in Paris hotel, the bathroom (handicap accessable bathroom) felt as big as the room we stayed in Paris. Interior was very clean and modern. Everything was perfect. We were so happy to come back to our room early to have some wine and olive and look out the window. The gentleman working at the front was very nice. We were genuinely welcomed by him every time we pass. Other staffs were nice too (it wasn't like this in Paris so we didn't expect much) Next time we go to Nice again, we'll stay here for sure. This is a good value for money hotel which is conveniently located with great staff and clean and comfortable rooms. Would def recommend

You could not ask for a better location. Centrally, located to everything. Beach, Transportation, Restaurants, Casino all within easy walking distance.

Generally satisfied, but breakfast is expensive.

Although the hotel is a solid three-star property (as advertised), the renovated rooms are four-star quality. I would not stay in a regular room in this hotel. One note about Internet access: Wi-fi is provided free of charge, but some program types (Skype, file-sharing, etc) is prevented. To use those, you'll have to pay 10€/day.

The family room was large enough with a lovely view over the sea. We where very fortunate to be there with the 150 year anniversary of being part of France and watching a magnificent fireworks display over the sea. There is so much more to see that we will definitely be back to enjoy more of Nice.

The hotel is in the perfect location, near all the amenities and just across the road to the beach and the bus to the airport stops right outside. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Don't be put off by the dreadful colour scheme of the corridors, the room was modern spotless and quiet. Two small criticisms , the lighting in the bedroom was […] inadequate as the red lampshades did not allow any reading in bed and the shaving mirror was also poorly lit. Storage would be a problem for a long stay, but would recommend this hotel for a short break. . Devamı

Vi hadde ikkerøkrom med havutsikt. De andre rommene kan vi ikke uttale oss om. Dette var ett bra rom og topp utsikt over promenaden. Servicen var helt topp, og da må jeg sammenligne denne med mange andre hotell vi har benyttet i Nice. Frokosten var også meget god. Takk for oss, vi kommer helt sikkert igjen.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, centre ville, mer, restaurants à quelques pas à pied.Bus pour l'aéroport juste devant. Personnel très souriant et acceuillant. Confort dans la chambre très bien, assez bien isolé. J'ai beaucoup apprécié la bouilloir dans la chambre. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Hotel très bien situé, proche de centre ville à pied, mer juste en face, arrêt de bus pour aéroport juste devant. Personnel très souriant et acceuillant. Chambre spacieuse, assez bien isolé. Rapport qualité prix très correct. J'ai beaucoup apprécié la bouilloir dans la chambre et l'accès gratuit à Internet.

EXCELENTE LOCALIZAÇÃO

Vi bokade ett supremerum med trädgårdsutsikt till oss och vår 7 månaders bebis nu i oktober, rum 356. Det är långa korridorer i hotellet men ändå väldigt tyst. Vi hade havsutsikt vilket blev en positiv överrasking. Rummet var funktionellt och tyst. Bekväm fotölj och säng. Att det var fönster från tak till golv gjorde mycket för känslan av rummet. Det […] kändes väldigt varmt och ombonat. Resesängen vi fick var toppen till bebisen. Läget var perfekt med busshållplats till flyget 25 m från hotellet. Precis vid den allmänna stranden och nära shoppingstråk och Plasa Massena. Vi är jättenöjda och återvänder gärna igen till samma typ av rum. Devamı

Ett utmärkt hotell nära till allt i Nice. Överraskande fin frukost. Trevlig personal. Om ni kommer med flyg till Nice gör inte misstaget att ta taxi utan ta bussen, går lika snabbt och mycket billigare.

Läget är suveränt, rakt över gatan till Playan och inte mer än 10 min till gamla stan. Hade dock varit trevligt att få ett rum med balkong men det vi fick dög jättebra! Hotellet är lite slitet i korridorer etc men rummen är bättre än så. Vi kommer att bo här igen mycket för lägets skull!

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel, direkt am Strand. Die Zimmer sind modern, sauber, zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, es war überhaupt kein Problem 2 Stunden später das Zimmer zu räumen als normal üblic
