We were only there for one night. The room was small but decent. It was hard to find an outlet to charge our phones. The concierge said that the hotel is undergoing major renovations, it was clean and has deco character. The continental breakfast was nothing special. We arrived on Friday night and the bar was hopping, lots of people and fun music. The […] drinks were delicious but pricey. There is no parking and the front desk and all the surrounding parking is meters. You can buy a $10 pass for the meters from the front desk but they ran out and didn't have one for us. Devamı

Charming entrance of the hotel and also the backyard. The employers were very unserviceminded..... all except one we met. The person who we first met just throw the key to us without a word. We had to ask how to get to our rooms and the location etc. Their "Continental breakfast" is only some pastiries which consists terribly lot of sugar and fat....We […] could not eat any of it. The woman who were located where the "breakfast" was served complained loudly about someone spilled coffee on the table instead of serving us.. After a while she took a dirty, already used cup and gave it to me with coffee...... :( Really noisy outside on saturday evenings because of party in the backyard. We don't know how this Hotel got the 3 Star rating. It does not deserve even 1 star. Stinky room, very old and very small tv a blanket with many burned hohles from cigarettes. We were not able to close the bathroom door, don't even want to discribe the bath tub itsef, we stayed there 2 days and did not take a shower due to the disgusting bathroom. Internet […] costs you approx $6 a day and works only on one computer ..... The only good thing about this Hotel is it's location which is close to boardwalk and not far from downtown Miami Beach. Small and old, but clean. Good location for beach and a quick DecoBike (inexpensive rent and drop) bicycle ride into South Beach. If you are familiar with standard older small European hotels, you will relate to this.

Breakfast was alway the same thing and was alway cold. I don't mind paying for a breakfast that was good and fresh. Love the backyard and garden!

I am a college student who stayed in an one bedroom apartment at the hotel. Started bad (Poor staff & staff behavior) with the front desk trying to get me to stay in a room that was not mine, but eventually had to talk my way into my initial one bedroom apartment that I booked via this website. The front desk clerk was upset I was being difficult.... […] Other than that the room was spacious (Weird setup however, bed was in first room when opening the door), bed pretty comfortable, full kitchen with pots 7 dishes provided, nice bathroom. This hotel is very old and not in good shape. The lobby is quaint. The pool area and bar were really cute and funky. Our reservation was for a king sized bed with down comforter. I got there at 2:45. Check in was at three. I was told my room was ready though. Then I was told my room was two double beds. There were no kings available and wouldn't be […] until "very late". We went to the room, which was on the third floor. No down comforters in site but there were some 60's style polyester bed spreads, an old bathroom you could barely squeeze into and a window ac unit blasting. It smelled really funky too We changed and went to the beach. We came back a couple hours later and asked if they had any king rooms yet and were told there were none and the cleaning staff had gone Home so they couldn't clean and re rent the room. I said that was fine. The front office guy then asked if I expected him to put on a French maids uniform and clean our room since we had probably gone "bongo bongo" on the bed so they couldn't rent it out. I said again it was fine and he said we should have said something sooner and I said I agreed but I told the guy when we checked in that I had reserved a king room and I had hoped they might have a better room. Clearly they didn't. The elevator then broke and we ended up spending a lot of time in the stairs. We lucked into a close parking spot so that was good. Devamı

We were pleasantly surprised with this boutique hotel. We found an on-street parking spot right away one block from hotel. The lobby and grounds were very clean, artsy and quaint. The pool was inviting. The room was small but comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated...and had a nice view of canal across the street. It was a two block walk to the […] beach. We took a short taxi ride to the main area of South Beach where all the bustle and nightlife was found. It was nice to arrive back at the peaceful neighborhood where this hotel is located. Nice hotel, not too far away from downtown Miami Beach. Bus-Station in front of the hotel. Air-Condition is very loud. Very friendly personal. Wunderfull garden with pool.

Beds are so small!if you drive you need to know there isn't free parking available for this location!only parking meter!but hotel is ok!not too expensive and doesn't look too bad!worth it to try!!

I was very happy when I found this little hotel. The staff were very helpful and it is quantly decorated. I wish I had more time to sit by the lovely pool and soak up the sun!

The room was clean. It's basic inside. Old TV and old bath fixtures. Bath was clean. The beds were clean and comforatable. It's a very nice location to the beach. We chose Indian Creek Hotel at Miami Beach because of the location and recommendations about a nice little hotel. The location was indeed good - we loved walking on the Boardwalk and the beach which were located very close to the hotel. But the hotel itself is in a terrible condition. It was a windy night when we came to the hotel and because of the […] huge holes around the windows we were freezing in our room. Freezing, even though we just came from the land of frost and snow. Also the bathroom was like from decades ago. Getting used to certain standards, the quality of the bathroom was like from some undeveloped country, something you would not expect to see in a country that is considered by some as the most developed country in the world. Rusty and leaking old equipment. Hotel also advertises that they have a continental breakfast. Which meant just some sugary buns and a cup of coffee. Nothing salty available, no bread, no cereals. I've seen terribly limited breakfasts in Britain for example, but this one was the worst I've ever seen. The quality of the hotel overall was poor, but credit must be given to the cleanliness. Room was poor but always clean. Recommended only for short stays when the quality of the hotel does not matter that much. Devamı

My choice when at Miami bch.

the room is comfortable. there's good environment. but the pay wireless is too slow, $6.95 for 24hour and just for 1computer! open one homepage it will stop many times. the breakfirst is soso. but wonderful service, everytime i ask some information, they try to best to send me messages. i'll go next time. but hope their wifi would be better.

We had been going to Indian Creek for several years because my parents have a place nearby. Unfortunately the hotel has been getting worse and worse, both the service and the facilities. 1) One time we had to wait over 10 minutes for someone to come who can give us the key to our room 2) One day we lost hot water. The hotel said it was a neighborhood […] thing, but it is not true because as I said my parents live close and they had hot water 3) Our toilet broke down 4) The elevator broke down in our last day and I had to carry down our luggage 2 stories because I didn't want to wait who knows how long for someone to come help. 5) The TV is an old CRT that randomly picks channels and frequently messes up the signal In previous years we had a much better experience, but as of now I would suggest to look for a another place. Hotel was not bad, but needs major renovation. It is located about 20 blocks away from main South Beach locations, which is about $6 each way on a taxi. Reasonable economy lodging for Miami South Beach. The room was small but clean with view of a tropical courtyard garden. The bathroom was tiny and outdated. Meter parking from 8am-6pm can be a hassle. About a 10-block walk from areas of interest.

The pictures look a lot better then what you get!!! Our room was small, bathroom was smaller and the bed and bedding was awful with a old tube TV. Stay at the Hotel Chelsea for the same price - for parking we put our car in a $15.00 garage down the street.

Unfortunately, the staff made this hotel a bad experience. We had made a reservation for one night but decided to stay the night before as well. We called the hotel that reserved a room for the night before. However, when we arrived in the evening they said there was no reservation for the first night and acted very rude. On the homepage it says Internet is free and that they have a parking lot but Internet costs $6/24hours and we were told to park on the street where money has to be inserted a 8am. Lovely boutique hotel which completely satisfies your needs if you are looking for a clean room to sleep, just a block away from the ocean and a pleasant 15-minute walk from Lincoln Rd. Loved the decor in this charming property. You can tell they have tried their best to keep to the original style. Don't stay if you are looking for flat screen TVs, […] large bathrooms, and are picky about breakfast and internet amenities. Nice pool, cheap place to stay. About a mile from Lincoln Rd.

One of the lower priced hotels in the area and pretty conveniently located (though set back from the beach 2 blocks). Hotel was clean and functional with nice but small pool and garden area. Desk staff tried a bit too hard to promote several excursions. We did ultimately book one but not through the desk as we found the same one cheaper on-line (although […] without direct hotel pick-up). After check-out there is nowhere safe to leave your bags for the day - they just get piled in the lobby next to the ATM which is not in direct line-of-sight of the front desk (which has occasional breaks in staffing anyway). Great Staff, Clean rooms. I only wished they did something about the very noisy AC (from world war-II) and their paper thin walls between rooms. We were happy that the room was very clean, but it ended there. The beds were very short and hard. The bathroom was small, but worse than that the water kept shutting off when you used the shower. The hotel staff claimed the city of Miami was working on the water system on the second day, but it had happened on both days! The noise from outside was […] continuous and loud. For the price, this hotel is a great place to stay while spending your time in South Beach. The 20 minute (or so) walk to Ocean Drive was just enough as it allowed us to encounter the many other sites along the way. This is not 3 star hotel. It has old amenities and has a very rustic look, old carpets, unfinished wood work and very small for its price. It's not for u if ur looking for a decent hotel with new look. Breakfast is just for name sake.

The hotel lobby was charming with its art Deco look and feel. The room was quite good for the rate and location. But the bathroom was too tight for comfort. A major negative point for families with small kids. Also the carpets inside the elevator and the corridors need replacement. But the front desk service was prompt and courteous.

Rooms are not particularly large, expecially the bathroom is very small (one person can barely fit inside and open/close door at the same time). The room is adequately furnished, bathroom has kind of vintage tub and washbasin which needed maintenance to fix leaks. Location is good, just few minutes from Lincoln Street, the most popular beaches and shops/restaurant […] without suffering from the noise and traffic of the lower streets. Swimming pool very small and the garden has a lot of overgrown plants that would need some serious trimming. Eventually by just crossing Collins avenue you are on the beach. Great hotel, looks just like the pictures on the website! The place is clean with friendly staff and a lovely pool area. Only a 15 minute walk to the main restuarant/bar area with lovely views if you walk along the beach! Would definately recommend this hotel fot the price.

Compared to some of the junky or ultra overpriced hotels nearby (within a mile or two of Miami Beach and South Beach) this place is a great deal. Yes, the recent remodeling inside is very well done and true to the Art Deco style roots. Our room on the third floor was small but chic and well appointed with a good view of the courtyard and the surprisingly […] big pool. The king size bed was top notch and comfortable. The lime and lemon infused ice water available in the lobby was a nice touch in steamy Miami. And the ice machine in the basement was always well stocked to ice down items for the cooler when heading to the beach. Overall, the area is very, very quiet. Parking can be challenging (even the South American guy manning the front desk didn't understand it-he said the meters on Saturday end at noon which was clearly not true). However, I found that if I drove north up to 52nd (I think that is the main road closest to the hotel) I could then turn left at the Walgreens and go down Flamingo St. and park in the neighborhood on the otherside of Indian Creek and then take a like bridge over and I was right by the hotel with free parking and usually closer than the metered parking, especially at night. So if you have a car, this hotel is very close to everything in the area depending on the level of traffic. Drawback? No free wifi anywhere in the place. I couldn't believe this place after reading all the positive reviews on tripadvisor. This hotel is a dump: haven't been updated in decades, my blanket looked like it was it was from World War II and the breakfast will make you sick. It is a straight out of the 40's art deco hotel. It has a cool vibe and the staff was very nice. The not so great is the parking. Only street parking and scarce at that. The AC in our room would randomly shut off, and the elevator only worked 2 of the 7 days we were there. The pool was nice and the water /citrus provided in the lobby is very good. I enjoyed the unique quirkiness of this place. I'm not big on modern amenities; this place was quite clean and enough for me. But the staff and general approach could use some updates. Nobody seemed to mind that I refused to turn in my key every time I left, but the request was there. Seriously? We have to check in and out like it's a prep school dorm? […] And one day the cleaning staff left our door unlocked and open all day. Not cool. I liked it overall, but forget the stupid key thing! So this hotel has soooo much potential. Too bad they don't care to realize it. If you're looking for a budget stay, like I was, opt for the Days Inn. It may not be a cute art deco building, but you'll be far more comfortable. The staff was amazing, but the hotel is in disrepair. Your room will be clean, but the floor outside it, not so much. The hotel is clean and cozy. Great for the price and because of that its more like a motel then a hotel. My one complaint is you don't have keys for the rooms. You have to return the key everytime you leave and there was no restaurant on site.

We were amazed at how attractive the Indian Creek (which can be seen from the hotel windows) actually is, with beautiful villas along the creek and Flamingo Drive.
