The room rate is just for the room and everything else such as parking (12€/day), WiFi Internet (10€/day) and breakfast (18€/person). It's a nicely laid on hotel with spacious rooms and a spa downstairs. There is a single computer you can use for free internet downstairs but there are usually people waiting for it. Breakfast is ample and good with hot […] food as well. Intended for business travellers and I wouldn't recommend for personal travel. You are a good 15-20 minute walk from the town center but there's not much to see in Mainz anyways. Devamı

Very spacious, well-maintained rooms with all ammenities and within easy walking distance to the Mainz train station and historic center of the city. The hotel is situated on the escarpement overlooking the old center of town with a commanding view of the Rhine River. We stayed in Novotel Mainz 4 days and it was more than I expected. We booked doulbe room with sofa bed of which room size huge and it was very comfotable for 3 of us and 5 years old girl. Breakfast was nice with good selections and easy access to center of Mainz. Quiet area surrounded by apartment block where made feel safe and wasn't any noisy at night […] time. Best part for my 5 years old girl is nice swimmining pool. it is small but big enough to enjoy it and spotless clean. I will recommand this hotel without hesitation Devamı

Thought it poor service that one of the restaurants was closed for 2 months from mid June to mid August for "holidays!" Felt that one female member of Reception staff at time of checkout was indifferent to our presence.

Front Desk personnel are not well train for their job.

Tired hotel with depressing internal decor. The theme restaurant was closed for renovation, which they had conveniently failed to mention on hotels.com. The price for the breakfast was outrageous. The staff were pleasant if not overtly welcoming, and requests for things like extra pillows were dealt with efficiently. This hotel was a great find for the price we paid. The room was very nice, the location was walking distance to old town, and the amenities were great. There was a free-use computer, the restaurant and bar were very good, and there was a free pool/sauna/gym. Warning: the "spa" is not very warm, it is definitely more of a pool. Room rate is reasonable and check-in was hassle-free Location of hotel is difficult to find even with GPS. The single bed is too old and small. Breakfast at Euro18 is too expensive for the spread offerred. No carpark avalaible, only the public one which charged Euro18 per night.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel is in a quiet area of the city while still within walking distance of the main sites. The breakfast had a lot of variety, too.

WiFi is NOT complimentary. Short walk uphill from train station. Wake up alarm was very loud.

ótimo hotel !! Adorei !!

Leider ist w-lan nicht im Preis enthalten. Bademäntel und Hausschuhe mussten wir ordern, diese wurden aber sofort gebracht. Die Parksituation ist leider sehr schwierig. Leider wurde unsere Parkkarte am Abreisetag zu schnell entwertet, so dass ich dann in der Stadt noch einmal sehr teuer parken musste, obwohl meine Parkkarte noch mehrere Stunden gültig […] gewesen wäre. Hier wäre ein Hinweis (und Nachfrage ob man gleich die Stadt verlässt) vor der Entwertung hilfreich gewesen. Der Wellnessbereich war recht nett und den Gegebenheiten entsprechend optimal angelegt, aber er ist doch recht einfach (1 Sauna, 1 kleines Dampfbadelemet und ein sehr kleines, flaches Schwimmbecken), die Wärmekabine ist sehr sinnvoll. Das Personal war super hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt, da es rundherum viele verschiedene Möglichkeiten zum frühstücken gibt (Mainz ist eine Studentenstadt). Allerding gibt es auch ein "Early-Bird-Frühstück", das ist kostenfrei und beeinhaltet das Notwendigste am sehr frühen Morgen - das ist eine sehr gute Möglichkeit. Devamı

Sehr negativ aufgefallen war mir die folgender Sachverhalt: 1.) Gefährliche Dusche - Beim Einstellen des Eingebelmischers gab es keinerlei Möglichkeit der Feineinstellung zwischen Eiskalt und brühend heiß, so war die Einstellung der Wassertemperatur eine Gradwanderung. Während des Duschens selbst wechselte die Wassertemperatur immer wieder und sehr […] plötzlich, zwischen brühend heiß und eiskalt. Ich habe mich verbrüht. Nebenbei bemerkt war, in Intervallen ungefährlicher Wassertemperatur, der Duschstrahl (Brause) zu flau um vernünftig duschen zu können. 2.) Die Minibar war unzureichend mit Snack bestückt und im gesamten Hotel gab es, nach Auskunft der Rezeption, nach 22:00h keinen zusätzlicher Snack (z.B. Erdnüsse, Chips). Außerdem waren alle Artikel der Minibar unverschämt teuer (selbst für Münchner Verhältnisse). Devamı

Hotel propre, relativement bien situé par rapport a la vieille ville, chambre spacieuses et service correct. Les chambres sont par contre un peu bruyante pour peux que les voisins le soient.

Wir sind am späten Abend angereist und haben glücklicherweise nicht viel Wert auf Komfort gelegt. Das Zimmer war super geräumig, nur leider war das Bett sehr unbequem und morgens bein Duschen habe ich mich gefühlt, als ob ich Opfer von "Vorsicht Kamera" oder den "Hoteltestern" geworden bin. Am kompletten Wannenrand lagen kleine krausige einzelne Haare...kein […] wirklich gutes Gefühl beim Duschen. Dies hat uns die Stimmung auf das Hotel und die Meinung deutlich verschlechtert! Devamı

Wir waren rundum zufrieden, da wir eines der größeren Eckzimmer bekommen hatten und trotz Sofaaufbettung alle vier genug Platz hatten. Die Lage in Mainz am Römertor ist sehr schön und die Altstadt zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Einziger Kritikpunkt wäre für uns das Frühstück, dass nun seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr im Zimmerpreis enthalten ist. Der Preis pro […] Person liegt bei ca. 18 Euro. Da aber die Kinder kostenlos mitessen, empfehlen wir das Novotel gern weiter. Devamı

Et flott hotell med god frokostbuffè, sjarmerende restaurant, og flott treningsrom og basseng. Vi fikk mye for pengene, kommer gjerne igjen!

Qualität und Angebot des Frühstücks für 18,-- € pro Person sehr mangelhaft. Bei Buchung wird suggeriert, dass das Frühstück inkl. ist. Parkgebühren sehr hoch und natürlich auch nicht inklusiv. Wünsche bei Buchung, die auch bestätigt wurden, (Raucher/Nichtraucher) fanden keine Berücksichtigung.

The Novotel Mainz is a good stop-over hotel with clean rooms, a cosy restaurant and a really pleasant wellness area. It is close to the central station, but located on a hill so expect to walk "upwards" to reach it. The rooms are kept in great shape, but are very simple. You get the impression of a 3 star hotel, not 4 star. Nonetheless a great choice […] for a Mainz visit. Devamı

mio figlio di 10 anni ed io ci siamo trovati benissimo, ottima l'accoglienza, il comfort, la cortesia, l'organizzazione, la disponibilità del personale. mio figlio si è divertito molto in piscina, sia di mattina che di pomeriggio, ed anche di sera.
