The hotel was sufficient, but the night "Concierge" was very unpleasant to deal with. She was extremely unhelpful with directing me to a parking space. She behaved as if I was bothering her and she did not like her job. Someone like her should never be allowed to represent a business if they value repeat customers. honestly, this hotel is charming and the staff couldn't be any nicer. it's in a great location and the room was perfect and clean. the only small problem was the water pressure in my room. not sure if this is a problem throughout the building or just my room. overall, i think it's a great place to stay for the price. and dont forget to see the chicago […] history museum. it's a good one. Very friendly front desk staff, we were able to park our truck in the hotel's lot for an acceptable price. Although this is a very old building, our room was clean. The bed however was horrible, desparately in need of a new box spring. The continental breakfast was acceptable. I believe the room rate was too steep for the amenities.

The cheapest room was rather small, servant quarters small, but a good deal in the city. Some maintenance issues without the support staff available 24/7 to correct them. But clean, if old, and ready on arrival. A fair deal, but not luxury.

The hotel has a charming lobby area and a decent breakfast. The rooms, however, are in need of renovation. There is so much that could be done but little has. They need all new bedding. The radiator heating system leaves much to be desired. The first room we tried was so cold we had to move. The hotel staff new nothing about the area and could not recommend […] a restaurant or a place to have a glass of wine. I was in the process of moving to FL and needed a night to stay before I made the 21 hour journey to FL. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 PM and needed to be up at 5:00 AM to move. The challenge with this hotel is that it is a very old hotel. The walls are paper thin. People were buzzing into the lobby (our room was 5 rooms away from that door. They should take the window air conditioners out of the windows for the winter. It was extremely cold leaking around the unit into the room. Their heating bill must cost a fortune.

The staff was very friendly and courteous, everything was nice and clean. There have been some renovations that make the hotel seem current yet retain some old-world charm. It is a bit of a walk to Boystown & Wrigley Field but not too long considering the price. I would definetly recommend it to anyone. There is some shopping nearby along with several […] restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff.

The room is very small, old, and carpet is a bit dirty. However, People are nice and friendly. The location is great.

Overall, the hotel was good. However, a few things could be improved. It is an old hotel but some minor maintenance could improve the conditions. Also, when we got there, a light bulb was missing from one of the lamps. They immediately brought one up but it shouldn't have been missing in the first place. The most disappointing part of our stay was […] the very poor wifi connections. We were on the fourth floor initially. I complained about the connection problem and they moved us to the 2nd floor where it was better but unacceptable. It turns out that in order to receive "high speed" service, you have to pay for it. If I'm not mistaken the hotel was listed as having "free" "high speed" internet. That was not the case. The "free" speed was about the same as the old "dial-up" speed!! Devamı

I am a person who loves smaller older hotels. For me this hotel was just right. The staff was helpful and friendly, the atmosphere charming to me, the room lovely because it was different and yet very had everything needed. I especially like the breakfast room and the variety of items offered for breakfast...much more than the typical less expensive […] hotel. I also loved the neighorhood. It had everything from a hardware store to clothing shops to restaurants to what appeared to be live theater. Transportation was convenient to everything I needed. With lively streets teeming with people, I felt safe until late hours. Great choice for my needs! Devamı

What a great experience at the Inn at Lincoln Park. My girlfriend and I were visiting chicago for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and also to attend a concert at nearby Lincoln Hall. We found this hotel after searching nearby hotels and could not have been luckier. The hotel is in a perfect location. Close to an el station, highway, and Lincoln Park. […] The people at the front desk were very helpful and the staff throughout the hotel were very courteous. Parking was relitivly low priced, convenient and plentiful. The neighborhood was great with plenty of restaurants and shops close by. I would encourage anyone looking for a great bargain hotel in the Lincoln Park area to look into The Inn at Lincoln Park. I will be back for sure. Devamı

It is noisy because the room is next to parking lot.

Old hotel, old furnishing, but great location for visits to my children who live in the area. Nice staff.

Great location in a safe university neighborhood, 15 minutes to downtown on the L. The breakfast was fine. Shower ran scalding or freezing every time someone used water in another room, and I ended up giving up and having a bath. The room was clean and mostly comfortable, but some things were weird, for example, there was a lamp on a desk but no light […] near the bed. The heat seemed to come on when the lights were on and the room got quite hot in less than an hour. Better than a hostel, better than a sleazy downtown hotel... Devamı

Staff at hotel very freindly and courteous.

The hotel is old and lacks some basic amenities such as high speed internet which is available for a fee. Also, parking is not free. Location is great and rooms are clean but that is about all. There is no way to control the heat in your room which requires you to turn AC on or open your window. Either way it is noisey. By far the worst experience ever in a hotel. The carpets were filthy, the rooms smelled, there was exposed wires coming the floor radiator and ceiling lights. The "free" breakfast was not fit for a dog. Horrible hotel

free wifi is really slow!!!! The fast one takes additional charge. Hotel is old but ok, seems a little over charge.

The room was so small that there were only a few feet of space on either side of the uncomfortable full size bed. The bathroom was so cramped that the toilet was pushed up against the wall and behind the wall heater, making it impossible for anyone other than a small child to use it properly. We chose this hotel by its location, close to our daughter's apartment. It is old, and the room was very small, but the staff was wonderful. The desk clerk quickly moved us to another room when we had a plumbing problem that could not be repaired. The rest of the staff was polite and pleasant. BOILER BROKE, SO THERE WAS NO HOT WATER TO TAKE A BATH OR SHOWER. BATHTUB WAS NOT CLEAN, HAD HAIR STRANDS AND SCUM. ALSO HAIR DRYER PLACED ON TOP OF TOILET HAD PRIOR HAIR STRANDS. DEAD FLIES ON TOP OF AIR CONDITIONER, AND ON TOP OF LIFT.

Fantastic location...hotel shows signs of a little wear and tear, but cozy and eccentric in a whimsical sort of atmosphere. I suggest taking a cab if possible as parking is extremely limited and very difficult to manage effectively.

This hotel is in a perfect location - close to the lake, the L train and the Clark St. bus. It is a very safe residential neighbourhood with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and banks. There is a gym nearby and Wrigley Field is 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel.

The hotel was very convenient to our son's apartment, but it is very worn. Our room was tiny, the window air conditioner prevented the window from being opened, the shower plumbing was interesting, and the tub train was blocked and leaked up through a drain in the floor. On the plus side, it was clean (but old), the bed was very comfortable, the staff […] (though few) were friendly and the breakfast room was clean and well stocked. This hotel was a decent place to stay due to its proximity to Wrigley field and many convenient restaurants. However, the room was small and the window unit air conditioners were loud and kept me up at night. Overall, even for Chicago, I found this hotel to be over-priced.

I had trouble finding a room, settled for this two-star hotel. It's older, but alright. Ask to see your room before you check in. Some are not well maintained and others are very nice. Staff was friendly. Parking is a bit cumbersome, but managable. Price was reasonable for this great location.

Had a queen bed at a fairly low price. The room was cleanish but very small. service was friendly. Breakfest was in the high end of DIY cheerios and waffles. Acceptable for a single night.
