Comfort Inn University Center - Fairfax

Spacious rooms with microwave and fridge, decent free breakfast, nice pool. Near mall and many restaurants. Good base for local activities or business.

Large clean room, a couple of restaurants in walking distance, reasonable price.

If you're staying in Fairfax City, this is a pretty good hotel. Might be time for some renovations, but all in all, they did a good job. Room was clean, and the staff was very friendly. Didn't partake in the free breakfast, so I can't speak to that. I'd stay here again.

Great hotel if you are going to attending events at George Mason University. Just stayed one night but didn't have any problems; however, didn't have time to try out some of the amenities like the pool. Continental breakfast was good; made waffles which were delicious. Would definitely stay again.

Before booking, I read some very negative comments regarding this motel but neglected those them. After staying there 2 nights, I realized I made a big mistake. It was a shock for me that such a motel exists in USA, in DC area! DO not book this terrible motel, otherwise you will regret soon. 1. The staff's attitude is so mean and ugly. They made me […] feel like that I own them 800 bucks. 2. The inside of building is so DIRTY. I saw a couple of roaches inside of our room. 3. Those foul mattress, must be used over ten years. Sick! Good location. The hotel is fairly worn and in need of upgrade on the inside. The WiFi was limited to the Lobby only. There was no useable signal in the rooms. The rooms are dark and a little damp but acceptable if you are staying just overnight like we were. The staff, on the other hand, were very nice, competent, very easy to work with. I have been traveling and stay in many hotels for years and this is my first time writing a review and here is why. For those who are looking for a clean room with some service this is not the hotel you want to stay!!! Stay away from this hotel unless you like your money waste.

My coworker and I stayed at this hotel while in town for a business conference nearby. The hotel was only 5 minutes from the conference site and was the least expensive hotel nearby. It was booked solid but you'd never know it inside the room - we heard no noises from above us or outside the room. The sheets and pillowcases were clean and the bed was […] a very comfortable pillow-top mattress. The towels were soft enough to have come from my own washer and dryer. Clean, spacious room and very conveniently located to Vienna Metro stop. Great value for the money.

Wonderful people and the hotel was comfortable and clean. Location was perfect.

Hotel was very nice. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. Plenty of FREE hot coffee 24 hours a day. Pool lifeguard actually did his job. Followed young children up and down the pool to insure their safety. I was very impressed with this hotel. Well worth the money.

This is a nice property with very friendly staff who did all they were asked to make my stay a successful one. I has trouble with the Wi-Fi and the front desk clerk made sure problem was resolved. I would definitely stay at this property again if I return to the area.

This hotel is in desperate need of a renovation--it was due about 20 years ago. I get to my room late and the AC is not on and it is about 100 degrees outside. A nice welcome. Hallway carpets could not be dirtier. Bed pillows about the size for a 5 year old. At least there were 4 of them. Room is huge. The room was decent looking. However, the lock on the door did not work and the shower knob was broken as well. As a result the shower water was only lukewarm.

I only stayed overnight (didn't use the pool, exercise, restaurant etc.)and it was very adequate. It was too expensive, but apparently all hotels are in Fairfax. It was convenient to everything. The "free" breakfast was greatly lacking, but most are.

The hotel staff was friendly and check in/ check out was without a hitch. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, and unexpected kitchen unit (stove, cooktop, sink, refrigerator, microwave oven). Coming in from the east (Main street) was easy; however, its easy to miss the entrances given the location of the signage. Coming in from the west at rush hour, I would […] not recommend ( Monday - Friday). I found the room lighting to be disappointing. Not enough where it was needed especially at the couch. The was none. If you wanted to sit and read there at night, it would prove difficult unless one moved a pole lamp. The hotel was fine. We have stayed here before. I would particularly like to comment on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

The hotel was clean, well staffed, and in a good location for visiting the Capital. It was not within walking distance of the last Metro stop, but they had a shuttle to take you there. Dropping us off was quick, but we wound up waiting a long time to be picked up and we were tired and hot. Driving into town was quick if you did not try it during rush […] hour. We took the Interstate one day and the other two days we basically took city streets. (Get a Garmin) Took a little longer but less stressfull. Never got to use the pool, it was small and always full. The Chinese resturant in the hotel made me sick, but it might have been because I ate to much. No one else got sick, but they did not like it enough to eat much. The area was great and we felt very safe. Big Chinese community and lots of auto dealerships close by which was great because we need a check engine light checked on our Nissan Armada. Devamı
