It needs swimming pool and a 24hr store where you can get drinks and hangout

Loved Every minute of it. Staff was very respectful and more than willing too help satisfy you in any way too meet your needs while you stay. Room was excellent Great Maintenance. WAYYY better than what i was used too in IA.

Convenient location...all staff friendly and helpful.....felt like a guest in a friend's home....restaurants very good.

Hotel was very nice. Only complaint we had was the beds were way to small and we are not large people.

Courteous but somewhat aloof staff. Bakery that I read rave reviews about on-line not open at 7:15am on a weekday?! Comfortable, clean room and bath area but the walls in this hotel are so thin. We actually said "Bless you" to the guy next door who kept sneezing and hacking and coughing throughout the night. Could also hear, quite clearly, the upstairs? […] guest's conversation through the vent in the bathroom. The hotel was definitely not fully occupied. We requested a quiet area away from elevators and vending machines. We were away from elevators (as are all the rooms) but we were right next to the vending machines. Mr. Hacker/Cougher next door seemed to need a ton of ice to help with his 'condition'. Liked the hotel but didn't love it and there are so many other options in the Twin Cities so will explore them next time. Devamı

Bonjour! A decent value, though the devil is in the details for a hotel of this quality. The room had a bit of a moldy funk to it. Other than that, it was an interesting hotel.

Everything was great except for road noise. I would book an inside room next time. Otherwise great. Exceptionally friendly and outgoing staff.

This is a beautiful location. Fancy upscale restaurants on site. Extremely friendly staff, very helpful as well. Just off Interstate 494, Chili's and TGIF restaurants just one and two minutes away. We had two double beds, unbelievably comfortable. We did not want to get out of bed. Mall of America less than ten minutes away depending on traffic. Would […] gladly return to this location. Now a few downfalls. No refridgerator in room, no coffee maker or microwave either. So no place for leftovers or to keep anything cold if needed. Very nice hotel, excellent restaurant! The husband and I spent our New Year's weekend in Minneapolis. We made a great choice picking Sofitel as our hotel! We just adopted our kitten, which we did not want to leave home alone. The hotel accomodates guests with pets! Of course, such guests are kept on one floor, which is great! The room size was a little bit smaller than other hotels that I had stayed in for about the same price, so I might recommend opting for one of the larger rooms, but it was a very nice hotel.

Great hotel and would definitely stay again. The only reason for the 4 on the comfort was we had a room right next to the delivery area which was a little noisy fairly early in the morning.

It was ok. I don't think I would come back here unless there was some kind of big promo on the rooms. The room was ok . The view was of a empty parking. The service was okay. Make sure you mapqwest or you might get lost. Everything was okay. Nothing special.

Love the beds here. Sleep like a princess. Hotel food delish. Service slow - authentically French perhaps? Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

This was my 2nd time staying at Sofitel and it was great! I love that you feel like your on a vacation away from home with the great european feel and ambiaunce that they have goin on. I would recommend Sofitel to anyone who loves a luxurious staycation!

My wife loved it. Bring an extra $50 just for the bakery

We visit the Twin Cities a few times per year. ( 3 Children 10,13 and 17) We get two rooms. Although there is no Swimming Pool we all love this Hotel. My kids love the on site bakery and makes for a convenient breakfast each day. Best value for the money on the 494 strip.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Sofitel. Friendly service, comfortable rooms, etc. All fine. I do want to point out that we booked two rooms, one luxury and one superior, which were identical except for the walk-in shower with rain shower head. Both rooms and showers were roughly the same size, hardly making a shower head worth an extra $20 a night. This […] was our only disappointment with an overall good stay. Devamı

I had my wedding dinner in this hotel 34 years ago, and went back for the first time since then, not believing the quality could have been maintained over that time. Great location. One of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. Above average service. Just a great experiance.

The rooms in this hotel were quite dated and worn. We booked through Hotels.com at a decent price and perhaps we were placed in the 'cheap rooms'. The beds were very comfortable, but overall this hotel does not live up to a 4 star rating.

We stayed at the Sofitel Minneapolis for a weekend getaway. It is a convenient location. It was easy to get to the Mall of America, Ikea, and a few hockey stores. Exel Energy Center was a bit further away, but still an easy drive. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were very clean, and had every thing we needed. I love staying at the Sofitel - It's very comfortable and now feels like "my hotel" when I am in the Mpls area for fun. The staff are always friendly and helpful - I like the lobby, the resturants and bar and the beds are really really comfortable. Really nice hotel! My wife and I were very impressed with the service and the beautiful lobby area. The beds are super comfortable and room service is pretty quick. Great French restarunt inside the hotel also! Minutes away from MOA. My only complaint was a ceiling tile that was hanging down in the corner of the room. I lived in MInneapolis when the hotel was built. It was one of the first high-end hotel in town. It may not be the classiest any more, but it's quite nice, the people are friendly, the rooms are large, and the bed was very comfortable. It's also quite close to the airport. I'd definitely recommend it.

The hotel is stunning! The staff is wonderful and friendly....extremely comfortable beds....large, spacious room!
