Days Inn Sarasota Airport - Sarasota

It started in my top 5 worst places I have ever stayed and moved up to #1 by they end of my stay. Drug arrests, paper thin walls, unclean room...the list could go on...pay extra to stay somewhere else this place is the worst.

very marginal - shower didn't work, bed was uncomfortable, no internet and cell phone reception nonexistant.only two positives - cheap, and the attached cafe was friendly. There are many other hotels in the area, so you'd be better off picking another one.

The hotel was horrible, the neighborhood was very unsafe and the staff at the hotel was rude. We didn't even actually stay there because we had 5 people and requested a rollaway, and there was no room to put it. We had to go and get a different hotel room at a different location. The cost is good for a one night stay to be near the airport. But you get what you pay for.

Normally I wouldn't take the time to write a review but in this case, I felt it was necessary. The photos of the hotel don't come close to what the hotel really looks like. It is in a very bad area, its worn down and not even worthy of 1 star. I have no doubt that some shady activity is going on there and I'd rather sleep in my car than to spend another […] night in this hotel. The rooms are dirty and it smelled very bad.

Friendly staff and manager, ask for a room on the poolside as the roadside can be a bit noisy.

The room was an "upgrade" to an end unit with no working hook lock on the door. The shower had two settings... 3rd degree burn or ice cubes. When I checked out in the morning, the owner was at the desk, he didn't inquire about my stay or offer me the free breakfast coupon for the restaurant next door that the night clerk instructed me to pick up in […] the morning at the desk. Rude, uninterested owner! I had to inform him of the poorly working shower and the broken lock. Like he didn't already know.... If I had put a child in that shower, they could have received serious burns. I will never ever stay at the Days Inn SRQ airport again! Devamı

this is an awful hotel

Good & Cheap

Rooms are dirty. The carpet was wet from a flood next door and the bed sheets were full of stains. This place should charge by the hour. It is in the middle of hooker town.

It's not the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at but half the price and it was clean, it was just old. Staff was friendly, close to siesta key, can't complain

Hotel was not what I expected. The shower did not drain and it took an hour and a half to get someone to come and drain it but it still kept clogging. Luckily we were out most of the day and only needed the room to sleep when we came back from the places we went to visit. Wont use this hotel again. The units are not tidy the bathroom door did not close. […] It was cold and they would not provide extra blankets and pillows because we were already upgraded by the manager to a better room so we were not entitled to anything aditional. If that room was better then I dont want to know what I was going to get instead. Devamı

This was, by far, the FITHIEST room I have ever seen. If it wasn't for the fact we had traveled all day and checked in at 2am and exhausted, I would have looked for another hotel...or a park bench! Repulsive! Hairs in the bed....bedding dirty...chair in the room had stains I wouldn't want to guess from what...

the manager was nice breakfast was fair

I guess you can say you get what you pay for. Staff at check in were friendly but the cleanliness and comfort of the room was very dissatisfying. It was a non-smoking room but the room had a strange odor, not very clean, mold & mildew in the shower (wouldn't even get in it). Not impressed at all.

Not a good place to sty if you are traveling with family. I stayed there with my 2 month old, and almost left because the other guests were making me uneasy. There was a "hotel party" going on two doors down from mine and so there were constantly people staniding around in the stairwell and being pretty loud until well after 1am. Hotel room was dirty, muggy and in major need of updating. The "free" hot breakfast was a coupon to the nasty diner out front of the hotel. Diner service was horrible and all we got was a piece of toast and an egg....after a 20 minute wait. The owner and staff were rude and obviously hate their job. Stay here ONLY if the other 4 hotels within the 1/2 […] mile radius are booked. Didn't seem like a good part of town either. Devamı

unreal desk clerk working alone Very Bad, from the start we check in room 259 back in the corner of hallway kids running around unattend , the clerk couldn't leave the desk. We ask to switch but the desk clerk give us room 223 two d-m doors from those bad a-- kids, i think not, then we got room 201 okay i'm exhausted at this point, then the hotel lost […] power Wow, beds uncomfortable and to low, i never been in hotel with hot water in the toilet bowel so our butts was warm Wow.... the restaurant connected to the hotel is a joke, CONTINENTAL breakfast is a scam worth on a $1.95 drinks not included but you can upgrade on the menu minus that amount... the clerk truly give his best Devamı

I would never go back again...There were many families living there, with very noisy children...They were up till 1 in the morning screaming...Also Ladies of the evening....I had my 9 year old with me...When someone pays cash and is dressed prevotically and asks for a specific room, where she stayed last week, it really makes you wonder...It's a shame, […] because it was a nice place... Hôtel vraiment pas cher mais à éviter de toute urgence ! Environnement pourri, clientèle sortie tout droit d'un film de gangster et hôtel situé loin du centre. Sentiment d'insécurité.
