Rodeway Inn Miami Airport - Miami

the staff was very helpful and they had a really nice resturant that was reasonably priced. I wish it had a clock radio it was well lopcated to what i needed. one down side it is 50 yards from interstate 95 and it was tough getting a good night sleep. That was tthe only draw back . Would stay again was not 4 star but for the price it was worth it.

Hotel is convenient to airport. Shuttle runs on the hour which might not best fit schedule. Staff seem to be capable and efficient. There is a decent restaurant at the hotel. Food is good but it lacks a little in cleanliness. If you only need one night to catch a cruise or flight and you're not real fussy this might work fo you.

This hotel was a nice 2 star, but you have to have the correct expectations of a 2 star. Not terribly close to the airport, and I took a cab for $25. The rooms that face the pool also face the freeway though, and it was constant traffic noise throughout the night. The room was clean, and the A/C worked.

very disapoointing hotel in bad conditions, room was as clean as they could keep it, unsafe area for a single female traveling alone felt very unconfortable. at check-in I was only asked to see drivers license and when signing only asked to sign first name last name not required. very noisy not able to sleep well, there was also a door by the wall seemed […] to open door to next room felt very unsafe. I was really scared to go there after the reviews but our room was ok except the carpet. All those stories are true you must wear your shoes or your feet/socks will be black. Otherwise it was pretty clean, flat screen etc. The highway noise didn't bother us we just left the airconditioner on all night to drown it out. The restaurant out front is the […] best part of this place. Good food at night, breakfast was kinda iffy. The waitress in the morning was nasty and rude, but the staff at night was great. Dangerous neighborhood, no place you are gonna walk around at night, so we just stayed at the bar and had drinks. Low quality but cheap. You get what you pay for. Fairly close to the airport. Right next to the freeway, thus noisy, however, the louder AC unit drowns out the car noise. Would recommend only if you needed for over night and is tight on budget.

This was the worst guest experience i have ever had. The front desk assistant was very rude, and durning my stay none of them was helpful. The parking lot attendant told me it wasn't his job when i asked him how long it would take to get to the airport. This hotel was the cheapest in the area, the reason is: The room was extremely dirty and outdated. Good TV, not many channels were available. The highway noise kept me awake all night. The water was running in toilet 24 hours. For shower the water was cold & come very little force. There was small insects on the carpet. The room smells very dirty & you can hear noise from surroundings. The bed sheet was dirty & we can see dirty spots on it. only recommendable if you just need a somewhat cheap (for the area) place to stay for the night. Room smelled funky and air conditioner acted up. Staff was mostly nice. Other than that it's just your average cheap motel room. There's a bar/restaurant with pretty good food downstairs.

The hotel is old, the breakfast very poor and the receptionists are not at all kind.

It was moldy smelling, with wallpaper peeling off the wall, but the location is why people stay there.

The room is not confortable, dirty and very noisy. There is no complimentary breakfast, they only offer coffee, tea or juice

Got to the hotel early so they put us in a room that hasn't been used in a while and the room smelled terrible. Went to the front desk and the person was rude and gave an attitude and finally gave us a new room. The new room still had a slight smell and I really wanted to change hotels.

You get what you pay for here. If you need some place to stay before you get on a cruise ship, for just one night, or just some place to take a quick snooze, this place is ok. However, if you're looking for friendly staff, comfy beds, or clean floors, please look elsewhere..

The hotel claimed "breakfast included". But what offered were a muffin and a small cup of orange juice. The restaurant let us wait more than twenty minutes to get those foods.

My main complaint about this property was the fact I forgot my nightgown on the bathroom door when checking out. When I called from a cruise ship the next day after discovering my nightgown missing, it was "never turned in or found". Sorry, I think that's poor customer service.

This hotel is close to my work and clean. The rooms are dated, the neighborhood is intimidating, and the service was dependable... for Miami. The price was right for what you get: a clean place to stay with reasonable service. I wouldn't leave my room after dark or loiter in the shared spaces: the area includes shady characters.

When we checked in the Desk Service was Very Very Rude! I couldn't understand why, but I guess they need to be hard people to work there after seeing the place and the area,that night and the next day. 2 Blocks up is all the Homeless people and it is across from a Hospital and Sirens were all night. Anyway, we got to the rooms, which my mom was Handicap […] and they put her on the second floor and then tried saying I didn't call them to request but I called them asap right after booking! I don't like to be called a liar. Then when entering our rooms, they stunk. My Moms and sons was Horibble! Well, found out why, water leak puddle hovering under the bottom of the sink! SMELLED like Meldew...Then our Toilet when flushed Sounded like a Ship Horn! I was very dis satisfied! I tried to talk to management but they wouldn't deal with us. They did move my mom downstairs but Yuk again. I booked for the weekend. Mistake! Never Again! The only thing I can say is CHEAP Price! Close to the Boat Docking! Rude Service! NEVER NEVER Again!!! I stayed at the Rodeway Inn while my apartment was treated for termites because the price was right and it's close to my work. The room was clean but dated. The free WiFi was slow at times. The air conditioner was loud but masked highway noise. The staff forgot to leave towels in my room 1 of the nights I was there and the neighborhood and other guests […] were too intimidating for me to build the courage to visit the front desk and request some. I don't think I would have opened the door after dark unless there was a fire. There was good water pressure and generally, the room fit my needs: sleeping, showering, working. I would recommend it for travelers stranded at MIA who aren't nit-picky and are strapped for cash. If you're too tired to function after a red-eye, it's perfect. Devamı

This is an excellent location, offering shuttle service to the cruise ships sailing from the Port of Miami. It's on the edge of a medical university and not far from the downtown area. You would think being across from a major hospital facility that this hotel would be up to date, cared for, and more appealing to consumers. Thank goodness I only had to stay one night. It was awful. The room smelled, very outdated, and there were Roaches everywhere. It said onine it had been recently remodled, maybe in 1970. the service of the hotel is good esspecilally the shuttle service , the location is near supermarket.,close to the hospital,and trirail service and now I stay again in the hotel from 12 september to 16 september with my family,

excellent location. the staff was friendly. the beds are good, confortably. they have free airport shuttle. the neighborghood is not good, and the comun areas of the hotel are scare, a lot of strange people walking around, including homeles!!! we dont use the elevators in any case and prefer to use the stairs because are in the front of the building […] and can seen by everybody Devamı

Not a bad hotel for business stay - not a vacation place, but accaeptable for money I paid. Remodelled room had flat screen TV, and was not bad.

you need to keep hotel in better shape needs a lot of changes and repairs.....

if you're on a really, really tight budget....you should not complain.... bring a lot of lysol wipes and don't walk barefoot on your room.... staff at the reception weren't courteous, you were more of a "blah" to them, paid attention to "friends" chatting with them..

Maintenance is never done even after 2 calls a sink that is stopped up. No one brings clean towels when they are not in the room. You have to go up front yourself.

We spent four nights here, staff was friendly,the shuttle service first rate, Our next time in Miami which will probable next year for another cruise will see us at the RODWAY INN.

Too close the the expressway, could hear the cars all night. Got a room on the 5th floor, opposite end of elevator, didnt close an eye due to noise.

THIS HOTEL WA NOT A GOOD PLACE TO STAY AFTER ALL. VERY .... VERY HARD TO GET IN AND OUT OF PAKING LOT. PARKING YOUR CAR WAS A HARD JOB IN ITS SELF. CARPET WAS EX-STREAMLY DIRTY......... AND SMELLED. The hotel is NOT convenient to the Airport and the single van service gives preference to the guests going to the Port of Miami docks. We took a taxi back to the airport ($20.00). It's misleading to advertise that this is an airport hotel. The lobby was dingy, as were the path to the elevator, the elevator itself, and the walkway to the room. The room was not very comfortable; floor needed vacuuming; sticky furniture surfaces; skeptical bathroom facilities; very noisy air conditioning unit. The whole place needed a scrub down. The one redeeming factor was the restaurant on the premises, which had, among other things, a credible Greek dinner menu and a respectable breakfast. The hotel location probably has appeal to Medical District and cruise ship clients; but, even with a two-star rating, this was a disappointment. The shuttle service is not dependable. They stranded me in Miami and when I asked for alternative transporation the hotel staff was not very helpful. The rooms may have bed bugs. I found what appeared to be a bed bug crawling up my leg while returning home. Bugs had been biting me all week while I stayed at the hotel. The continental breakfast is a […] joke. It was the cheapest hotel in town at the time and we knew it wouldn't be a top-quality hotel but we didn't mind because we were only there for 3 nights and wanted to save the extra cash. The swimming pool was clean. The daytime staff was efficient, friendly and bilingual. The night-time staff...not so much. It's very conveniently located adjacent to the hospitals (Jackson Memorial & the Univ. of Miami Hospital, etc.), very close to Road 836 (which leads to and from the airport...a 5-7 minute ride), very close to I-95, I-395, Biscayne Blvd, etc., right between Miami Intl. Airport and Downtown Miami. The only problem for me was, I never learned my way there from 836 Eastbound...and the night-staff (a specific gentleman) was no help at all (his words exactly were "get off at the next exit and ask"). I could've asked the friendlier day-staff, but whenever I left the hotel in the morning, I always forgot to. Oh...and when you go to the adjacent restaurant for the continental breakfast, do *not* order the croissant...it's teeeeeeeny. It's practical-joke small. I half expected a "candid camera" to pop out and everyone start laughing. I photographed it.
