Other than the bus stop across the street nothing about this location was convenient. VERY limited restaurants in the area. The wait staff in the hotel restaurant was so rude, we didn't even stay for our dinner reservations. There is nothing to do close to the hotel so you couldn't find any entertainment close to hotel closer to the evening hours. NO […] INTERNET in rooms, not even wired! The staff was not helpful and at time downright rude. The room smelled of mold at first but had a balcony so aired out quickly. If I could have gotten a refund, I would have changed hotels. NO in room wi-fi, which it stated on hotels.com that it had it, was not happy. But they had a room downstairs where it was available. The location of the hotel was amazing. Step right outside and across the road is conveniently located tram stop. Just outside the door is also a convenient store. The standard triple room was quite small. The tv only […] had one english channel which was blurry. The drain in the shower was bad, it took a long time for the water to go down the pipe. I had to turn the water on and off to let it go down the pipe. The rooms were fine, not worth the price though. We stayed 3 nights and they didn't change the sheets and we were there for 4 nights, but they did change the towels. They didn't change the cups, when they did it didn't seem as though the cups were even clean. The saucers had already been used for some of them. They had exceptionally friendly staff. I had many questions to ask they answered them and helped with with ticket inquiries and the local area. Buffet breakfast was very good. I would highly consider staying there, if those few things got straightened up. Devamı

As always it was an excellent stay! Very good service even if you travel with small kids. Our son is almost 2 years old and it is a very good hotel to travel to with him. We would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel was just fine. The staff were very friendly and professional. The breakfast, which has come in for a lot of criticism from other guests, was limited but nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. If you don't like cereal and/or croissants, you are out of luck, but otherwise it is fine. Given that we were pushing a stroller around most of the […] time, we found the lifts to be very small. The cleanliness was good, they were quite ambitious. The qulaiuty of service from the staff was stellar. They were always helpful and courteous. The Hotel Amenities were good, our only issue was breakfast was the same every morning without fail. The location was good and quiet.

Hotel was not too far from train station, a bit of a walk to everything else. Biggest con was all of the staff were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. Breakfast was the usual Italian spread of coffee, juices, cereals, croissants, meat, cheese, and bread. Free wifi - but only in the "Internet Room" downstairs.

The people that worked there were very nice and the air conditioning worked great. However, there was a lot of mold in the bathroom. Mold was all over the shower and the walls. It was even growing on the plug for the hair dryer. We actually went and bought Clorox because it was so gross. This was definitely not a three star hotel. We had to change rooms […] because the third bed was awful. It wasn't much better in the new room but they showed us two new rooms and this one was the best of the three. The blankets were not clean. They said they had wireless internet but it would never connect for more than a couple of minutes. Everyone in the hotel was frustrated. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Devamı

I loved this hotel. It was older but very clean and the staff were very professional and helpful. The room was spacious, well air conditioned, quiet and the hotel was right next to a wonderful little restaurant. It was close to a bank, the subway and numerous buses went by it. This was a decent hotel with a pretty friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Hair dryer was a joke, as most European dryers are. About a mile from the Colosseum & we walked the first day but then learned the bus system, which had stops nearby. Right next to the aqua ducts. 1- This hotel needs refurbishment and it does not look as good as the pictures. All the pictures are taken from some rare good angles and then Photoshopped. 2- If you are a first time visitor to Rome and you would like to see the 'major' historical sites, stroll in the old town, and have some good food, this hotel is not any close. Remember there is […] an insignificant old stone laid everywhere around Rome and any hotel can claim they are close to a historical sites. 3- The hotel's food and breakfast is disappointing and far from what you would expect from 'Italian' food. 4- The neighbourhood is a dirty and ugly one of Rome's. Specially if you walk from the main station to the hotel you will definitely ask yourself 'what is special about this city??'. 5- The description states that you get WiFi in your room but this is not true. WiFi is only available in one of the lounges and they close it at night. Would have scored more points if not for the boring breakfast & absolutely useless waiting staff. They did not replace food until it ran out & the same with cups & bowls. Cheap ham, hard bread, no toaster, no eggs. The staff turned a blind eye to people taking food & putting in their bags even though there was a notice on the tables saying not to do […] this. On the plus side reception very good and obliging. Wifi should be throughout the hotel for the price paid. It says rooms have air con but this is not turned on until June, & beginning of May was already hot. Will not stay there again or recommend to others Devamı

Over all the hotel was very good. Very helpful staff. Very good food in the restaurant. My big complaint. Hotel claims to have 205 air conditioned rooms. Whay they fail to tell you is that they decide when to turn the air on. There are individual controls that only work if management decides to turn them on. Without air we had to sleep with the windows […] open. Very noisy until around 2AM and very warm. Gets noisy again around 7AM. No air and no fan makes sleeping difficult Devamı

Friendly and obliging reception desk, open 24 hours. Very practical: next to hotel are numerous tram and bus stops some in front of hotel, small shops, pizzeria and an excellent family-run small restaurant. Buffet breakfast is OK but rather basic. This hotel is a fairly standard low-budget hotel. One important point to mention is that the sound-insulation of the room is poor. You can hear people moving in the corridor outside, so sleeping using earplugs is a good idea.

We stayed for three nights. The location was great, walked to all the sites and great restaurants. We would recommend the hotel. The wifi service is one cost for your entire stay, it was reasonable and the reception was fine. The breakfast was adequate, coffee, juice, yogurt, cereal, and rolls. We were a group of six adults and would have preferred to have been more centralised in Rome, having said that we found at the end of our stay that we were going the long way round to places like the Vatican and the Trevi Fountain etc. We enjoyed our stay and found the staff friendly and very helpful, apart from the crush at breakfast. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are helpful and friendly. It is badly let down by the nightclub at the back of it - you can not hear any music but the screaming, shouting, arguing and laughing plus the car noise and loading/unloading of equipment noise starts at around 23.00pm and ends around 05.30am - it completely spoils the hotel. […] The breakfast is very basic and if you arrive in the breakfast room after a tour (the hotel caters mostly for tour groups) there is very little left and it is not replenished. Perfect location! This was our first trip to Rome so we spent most of our days visiting famous locations. We could easily walk to many tourist attractions (like the Colosseum) or, if our destination was a little to far (like the Vatican), we were only a 10 minute walk from the main train station (Roma Termini). There were several restaurants nearby […] as well. All in all, it was very convenient to get where ever we wanted to go. The only complaint we had was having to pay to use the wi-fi connection only to learn that there's no access from the rooms, only from the wi-fi room located on the first floor. People at the reception guide is so kind. I was lookig for bus tickets and the employee at the front desk not only told me how to get to the place to buy the tickets but he even went with me to be sure I do not get lost. Amazing!

Sorry to say worst hotel on 5 weeks trip around Europe. If you just want a place to put your head down it's fine, no english channel on TV, Shower was beyond repair, please do not eat in the downstairs restaurant!!! Get extra pillows from reception as you may aswell be sleeping without one. Reception staff carried on conversations whilst you were standing […] at the desk to check in. Everybody has their idea of what an ideal hotel should be like, and even within my own extended party there were different opinions as to how good this hotel was. Although it was not a problem for me, I can see why some other reviewers have felt let down by the size of the lifts, showers and beds. To put it politely the more portly amongst us will find […] all these a bit of a squeeze. On a map the hotel looks deceptively close to the central sights and it was our intention to walk to the Colosseum each morning however we had not factored in the Rome heat nor the sheer terror of crossing the road, in the end we used the bus and tram system for most of of our journeys. The hotel is well located for the public transport system and was close enough for us to pop back to the hotel for a siesta every day. Breakfast was a basic buffet of rolls, croissants, juice and coffee, however this is what Italians themselves normally have for breakfast. You can't turn a corner in Rome without bumping into a monument of some sort and there were plenty within minutes of the hotel, although not headline tourist stuff, the hotel is slap bang opposite Porta Maggiore, the Aurelian Walls and The Bakers Tomb. Within easy walking distances are Santa Croce in Gerusalemme and San Giovanni in Laterano (Rome's Cathedral and mother church of all Roman Catholics). I Devamı

Nice hotel location easy access to termini station and near colosseum. The room is nice,clean and simple. I would suggest to learn basic italian language before visiting Rome. Staff are friendly and accomodating. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The hotel was clean, staff friendly and generally efficient and welcoming. Breakfast rolls, croissants, etc were ok, but coffee and orange juice very disappointing. Fairly noisy at night but I think that's typcial of Rome. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel but there are some restaurants close by. Hotel well placed for tram termini, so easy to get to […] railway terminus, bus station and metro, quickly and cheaply, especially if you invest in a travel pass (at the tobacconist next to the hotel) or Roma Pass. The hotel is located is in one of the "has seen better days" areas (ie the old forum) with plenty of graffiti around and about to enjoy; however, it felt safe. Next time I would prefer to stay in a hotel more central but as always it does depend on the budget! Devamı

People at reception were extremely useful; ordered unplanned baby crib and they responded immediately, they tell you what to do and where to go if you ask. The passport issue is normal in Rome not specific for this hotel (It was requested from me over and over in other Rome's hotels). The Hotel is clean, breakfast is acceptable (you can have cheese […] and cold cuts big plate for few extra euros). The space in the room is way spacious than other Italian hotels I've been to. The small bed seems to be typical in Italy. Bathroom is large and clean. Italy is different than North America, so if you don't like something in this Hotel compared to your background, it is probably a general thing with Italian hotels not specific to this one. Use bus 105, tram 3 and 14 (5 minutes ride, 15 minutes walk) to reach Roma termini to catch site seeing tours or metro network. Devamı

Very good value hotel. Ideal if you just want somewhere to sleep.... Breakfast is basic (bread, croissants, juice etc) but adequate. The roof garden is a nice feature but not open very often. The staff are good and the hotel manager is especially helpful. Location wise, a fair bit of graffiti around which can upset people - but this is indicative […] of Italy so don't let this put you off too much. The hotel is west of Rome and a little bit away from all the 'fun stuff' but only a 15 minute tube ride to get to the tourist parts of the city (Vatican etc) The hotel is 20 minutes from the airport, has fair size rooms with high ceilings, has shops nearby and transport links. I´ll never return to this place, worst ever. When we arrive at recepcion they want me to leave MY PASSPORT as guarantee. Of course I refuse, so they made a photocopy. My room smells like toilet, the smell coming from the air conditioner system was awful. Expedia should not offer this hotel to anyone-

From the outside, the Hotel was nice looking, the reception was normal, but the concierge tried to retain our passports for 1 hour; of course we didn't agree. After they gave us "the key", nobody from the reception was able to come with us to show the room... The surprise was the room itself... Really tiny, a terrible smell coming from the air conditioned, […] the bed was so thin that was the same to rest on the floor. The bathroom was so terrible... you could go to the Roman forum's ruins and you would feel more comfortable doing your needs in the floor. Noises all the night (the room has paper walls, you can hear EVERYTHING from the other rooms and the street). The safe box was so tiny, that only my passport could fit on it, and to lock it you had to be smart as Einstein. "Continental breakfast" was a coffee machine with bread and horrible croissants (you have to be brave to have the marmalade & the butter). Full of noisy German teenagers going on spring week... The location is NOT that good, we had to take the metro to go everywhere, even to the downtown. People from the reception was rude, we asked them many times for the local transportation, and they just sent us to the wrong place, answering our questions with a very bad mood. The photos included on the site are FAR distance from the reality... There are better hotels to go in Rome, even paying the same than this one, so my recommendation is to AVOID this hotel. Devamı

This is a very serviceable hotel and reasonably priced. The downside is that it is off the beaten path but is still reachable by Tram which takes you directly to the Termini and therefor to all other connections you might need. Room was on the small side but functional. Bathroom was best feature. Small refrigerator for water but not much else. Cafe […] next door and good restaurants within walking distance. Check in was flexible as I got there at 1pm and though the internet checkin time was 2pm - I was allowed to go to the room. Checkout time is not 12 noon but 10am. They will keep your bags if, like me, your flight is not until the evening. They have access to tours - but they leave quite early in the AM. Major downside was the odor which came up through the vents for a brief time in the early morning. Since by then the AC had been turned off (comes on at 6pm and off at 6am) I opened the windows and it dissapated fairly quickly. Never did find out what that was. Very comfortable waiting room and they are generous with your use of it. Very clean. If you don't care for a tub 323 looked like a good room location. Mine was over a courtyard so a little noisy but I turned on the fan to high and drowned out anything that would keep me awake. Seems to be used by tour groups a lot. Breakfast is included - but again early and consists of breads, cheese, meats, cereal, coffee and juice. Cafe Americana con latte will get you a larger cup of coffee and when you add the milk - you have a latte that isn't gone in one slurp. Devamı

I've read a lot of bad comments about this hotel so I was a bit concerned staying there. But actually it was a very good experience. The rooms were always clean, the hotel workers were very pleasent , helpful and spoke good English., and the hotel itself situated in a good place with lots of buses and not very far from the Coloseum. the thing I didn't […] really like was the pipe system in the shower that kept all the water outside so it took some time for them to go down the sewer. but it's not a big deal and overall it was a good hotel.
