nice enough for a couple nights

I visit mobile frequently and always stay at the Drury. The staff are all VERY Friendly. I love the amenities like the snack/dinner in the evening and the above par continental breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the neighborhood is close to restraunts and shopping.

The staff was the friendliest I have every dealt with. I was very please with their attention to the travlers that were staying there. The hotel is clean. The hotel however, is a little outdated. It is an older hotel.

The hotel was great. It was in a great location to our needs and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic as was the room. The only complaint I would have is the air conditioning. The room we stayed in just wouldn't cool off. Although that could have been because the room wasn't used in a while or such, but we just couldn't […] get it to cool down. Devamı

First time to stay at this Inn.We were on our way to Texas. The Inn was very nice, rooms very clean, staff very friendly. Allowed ous to keep our dog in our room without charge. On our trip back from Texas we stayed here at the same Inn again. Food was great. would stay at any Drury Inn again.

Overall this hotel was wonderful...the only issue was that there was hair on the blanket and in some of the towels. Everything else was clean and well taken care of.

We have alway loved staying with the Drury hotels. This one is on the top of the list. They are very kind and friendly. We did leave a jacket and they did not find it. The Drury Inn in Mobile is very dated and "well used." The furnishings and overall decor seem to date back to the 80s and the whole place needs to be refreshed. But it was clean. When I checked in the front desk staff was not the most helpful or friendly. She just checked my ID and gave me a pamphlet with the key card inside. Did not tell me the room […] #, explain the drink coupon (for the free happy hour) tell me where the room was or give any details of the hotel. I recently stayed here just for the night. The hotel was older and needed some updating but it was amazingly clean. I am a clean freak and germaphobe and I was super impressed by the cleanliness of this hotel. The minute I check into a room, I strip down the bed and check the bathroom and I was very relieved to find how clean it was. It was also nice […] to have a free buffet dinner because I was tired upon arrival and did not want to leave again. I used to stay at the Hilton next door but it was booked and I must say the Drury Inn may be my new hotel of choice when staying in Mobile. Devamı

When we arrived we were in a room for about 2hours when we finally complained about the heat not working. The employees told us that they were having problems with the heat not working in that room on the 4th floor. They moved us to the 3rd floor and the room smelled like urine! Usually during big events and large clientele/guests to care for, service goes down in any industry. Drury Inn Mobile was definitely not the norm in this instance. We stayed for Mardi Gras and every day service was just as exemplary as the day before. Barbara at the fron desk, Valarie in house keeping, and Gerry (I think that was her name) the general […] manager smiled and greeted evreyone they came in contact with. I was totally impressed with the level of care and concern that we received, we usually stay at Marriott or Hilton hotels where this type of treatment or food is the norm. The only concern would be the hotel decor/furnishings/bedding needs to be updated. I overheard the manager telling a guest that this was in the works. We will definitely be back next year. The hot breakfast, afternoon popcorn with sodas, as well as the evening hot dinner/drink bar are an excellent amenity. Devamı

Very friendly, accomodating staff. This will be our hotel when we visit our son at University of South Alabama

We didn't have huge expectations and overall it was a good hotel experience. A few tics: the sheets were like sandpaper. The room and bathroom was small. The AC was very cold when it ran and loud, difficult to regulate a comfy temp. The best plus for our needs was that they allow dogs. For the price - thought it was just okay.

We were very impressed with the Mobile, Alabama Drury Inn. It was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast as well as the amenities were excellent. I must mention the staff. Everyone we encountered were so friendly and helpful. They made our stay so pleasant.

Friendly staff, everything clean, right by the highway, rooms were plenty big and clean. A definite thumbs-up.

Very nice. All personnel were extremely helpful and courteous, and the entire facility appeared very clean. I would not hesitate to return for another stay.

I stay here when Im out of town and working in Mobile. Its great because I can take my dog and its a convenient location. Also, I enjoy the free breakfast and drinks in the evening. We will definately stay here again.

Customer service is excellent and staff was very pleasant. The lobby is very clean. Refreshments were outstanding. It's obvious the staff takes pride in their work. The only two things I would improve on would be to replace the outdated television (some stations were fuzzy) and make the room brighter. When I say nice area, it was not a run down area, there were shopping areas close, some large shopping centers, not malls. The pool was nice, heated for this time of year, January, and the kids enjoyed it very much. Had nice breakfast and light supper. It is not like eating in a resturant with a full menu but enough that you did not have to leave the […] hotel. This Hotel offers great value for the pricing. I enjoyed my stay. I found the staff friendly and efficient. The building was clean and uncluttered with easy entrance from parking lot.

We were pleasantly surprised that the Drury was so pet-friendly (with no pet charges) and yet so clean. The people who worked there were consistently pleasant and helpful. They provide a pretty good breakfast for free, some food and drink in the eventing (though we were never there for it) and popcorn and sodas at night. The one caveat is that our heater […] never rose above 65 degrees. We reported it but didn't want to move to another room as we liked the one we were in and didn't want to move all our stuff. They were very apologetic and did offer us another room. We just asked for an extra blanket. All in all we were very happy with our stay. Wish they would open one in Gulf Breeze where we go often. Everything was absolutely wonderful! During our trip to Kansas, we saw several Drury Inn's on the way which will ideal my next trip.

It was nice having an evening drink, but the food with the drinks was not very enticing. Neither was the breakfast

We stayed in this hotel for only one night during a 6 week touring vacation, It was was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was of the highest quailty we had on our trip, also, the "kickback" was much appreciated after a long drive. Congratulations to the team that operate this hotel. would definitely stay here again if in the vicinity.

Hotel is very nice and reasonably priced. It is close to many restaurants and shops and 15 min. from airport. It was difficult to find/access the service road, where the entrance to the hotel is, that parallels Airport Blvd. The digital TV channels were not accessible, just the cable channels, so regular network TV stations were not available. Great experience! A little difficult to find, but right off the interstate.

Could not get AC to comfort temp.

We stayed at many Drury Inns along our 3 week trip and were more than satisfied with most. This one was not clean.. In fact, upon our check in they put us in a room that was currently occupied by someone else. Then the next room they gave us was smoked in, although it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. I was taking an all-day exam at the Pearson Test Center and didn't feel like driving over 2 hours on the day of the exam. The Drury Inn was reasonably priced (got room online) and DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF testing center. The drive to 30 seconds. If my car broke down I could've walked in 2 minutes. I got in late so didn't see much of the hotel but the room […] appeared clean, the bed was reasonably comfortable, and the bathroom/shower were fine. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast in the morning was good and had the necessities. This is not a luxury hotel but gets the job done. We recently stayed at the Drury in Mobile while passing through from Florida. The staff, hotel, room, continental breakfast...everything was wonderful! A variety of restaurants are within a stone's throw of the hotel and it's conveniently located and easy to find right off of I-65. A super place to stay! We enjoyed our stay, overall. The room was clean but the bed linen was dated and the comforter did not smell clean. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and after 5 pm hot bar. We left our daughter diaper bag and the front desk clerk stated that she would mail it to us....patiently waiting.

The hotel was fine for the most part. A little difficult to find, and we had no hot water in the morning. Other than that, the room was large and clean, the bed was soft, service was prompt, the free food and drinks in the evening were about what you'd expect from 'free'. We did not try the free breakfast however, choosing to eat on the road instead. […] All in all I would not object to staying there again, but there are other hotels in the immediate vicinity that I would also try if the prices are comparable. Only complaint is the hot tub/pool did not open until 10 AM. Doesn't make any sense for business travler.
