Hesperia Presidente Hotel - Barselona

Best location in Barcelona! Diagonal, next to everything interesting, but still out of noise. Great hotel, we got a room on the fifth floor, but due to some work next door (and noise) were transferred to the 13th. Staff was very nice and helping, and the view from our room was probably the best in Barcelona!

Often when you read reviews people say the hotel is too far from the sites etc. This hotel is not meant to be right on top of the main squares etc. Instead it's about a mile out, but buses are so frequent and easy to use that it's ABSOLUTELY no issue. Bus stops tell you how long until the next bus etc (only ever a few mins). It is also 3 mins from the […] tourist Sightseeing hop on hop off bus route. Clean, helpful service, near many cafes, restaurants, nice shops, a corte de ingles shopping centre. Would definitely recommend. The view out of our window was not much, just the back of the hotel & people's flats, but again, you're in a city not on the sea front at the Costa Blanca. Not all rooms have a bathtub btw, so you'd need to check first. I had some questions, and they always replied to my emails. The first room we got was a bit too small, so they moved us in seconds flat to a larger standard room. Was plenty big enough. Enjoy your stay! Devamı

After traveling thru the night and arriving in early morning, we were not able to checkin until 3PM; the Hotel secured our luggage and we went on our tour of Barcelona. Upon our return to the Hotel we were notified that the Manager had up graded us to a suite at no extra charge due to the late checkin.

Was very pleased with the hotel very clean the rooms were beautiful the location was also great. Would recommend it.

We had a room on the 14th floor. the view was just amazing!! The staff is helpful and the room is clear. Will definately book this hotel again.

Pleasantly surprised with my hotel room. Clean, luxurious with helpful staff. Not the most convenient location relative to city center, but neighborhood was good... 24 hour convenience store few doors down.

Clean hotel,nice staff in the reception in a.m (especially David ),speaks English . The only thing (probably, the new one..) I`ve been asked for a visa card to be left in the computer adn I didn`t had one,but, I gave the passeport ( for the copy) In 10 minutes after my check in, the maid came in to take everything from my bar ( I didn`t had any intention […] to use their expensive products anyway ). I find this realy not nice it is a not my first stay in the same hotel, I was here a couple of days ago for 7 days and re-booked again for another 6 nights. I never used their bar previously, so this decision was interpreted as `procedure`` which realy shoked me for not trusting but in general nice location,expensive ( not worsted 22 euros ) breakfast ,clean rooms.No problems with Internet (free) connections from the room. This modern high-rise is a good time! Friendly bi-lingual front desk service (at least until midnight - 3rd shift guy is bad). The internet went out my last day there, but otherwise the free wireless came as advertised. Avoid the expensive buffet - breakfast options under 5 euro are within walking distance. the hotel is close (7 min walk) to the hop […] on/hop off bus tours, and has a good selection of shopping, bakeries, eateries and city life around it. It was my second time to stay in this hotel. The standard rooms in general are small but if you're willing to upgrade the room to a superior room, you will find a huge difference in size but not a huge difference in price. The overall conditions of the hotel were good with helpful and great staff members. I only have two comments, however. First, it'd […] be nice for a superior room to have a kettle or water pot so that we could have access to warm water. Second, please do not stay in the rooms ranging from X09-X12. These rooms are too close to the storage for housekeeping and the door of the storage room doesn't have soft closing. When it's closed, it's loud. Devamı

Although the hotel was in the bussiness section of the city, we found it very easy to get around the city & to all points of interest. The hotel is approx. 1/2 hour from both airport and ship ports. The cab fare were metered and fair. Staff were friendly & helpful. They also spoke english very well.

A great place to stay in the heart of the city. the nearest tube is 'hospital clinic' and there are plenty of bus stops around that take you pretty much anywhere you need to go in barcelona. This is more of a 'business' district, so if i were going on 'leisure' i would probably opt for somewhere near the beach/marinas perhaps. The odd thing was, i […] chose this hotel over others due to the spa but once there we didn't even have time to look at it let alone use it, so i can't comment on that or the gym! barcelona is such a great city that the last thing you want to be doing is to be stuck inside your hotel. i would def opt for a hotel with balconies next time and perhaps a pool, otherwise this one was superb and wouldn't hesitate recommending. Great Hotel, Great staff and a very good location. Walked all over, Metro close as well as buses. The neighborhood was very nice with some nice local spots. Highly recommend.....

Wow- I was surprised how nice this place was. The outside of the hotel looks a bit plain but the room was very nicely furnished. Shower had rain shower head above with option for side sprayers. It was tastefully tiled with a modern frosted shower door. It is about a 10 minute walk to nearest metro. I started to get to know bus system and would probably […] use that to get to places like Catalunya as that is more like 20-25 minute walk. Unfortunately, the room wasn't ready until 4pm despite a 12noon check-in; and while I pre-paid for and reserved a triple superior room, we were given an extremely small double-room for the first 3 nights, which would not have been so bad (because our 3rd party was arriving on the 4th day) had we received an apology or explanation - but none was given. […] I've traveled the world and have never received such poor hotel service from the reception desk. In fact, had I not seen a triple superior room being cleaned by a housekeeper on the 3rd day we were there, I don't think the staff would have corrected the booking. When I informed them that the room we had would be too small and lacked sufficient privacy once the third guest arrived (the shower was separated from the 3 single beds, 2 of which were pushed together, by a see-through glass wall) it was as if I was inconveniencing them. The triple room was finally made available at 5pm on the 4th day (after having checked out of the smaller room earlier that morning), and when I took my complaint directly to the English-speaking manager-on-duty, he argued with me rather than apologize or offer to discount the room rate for the first three nights. Everything else about Barcelona was absolutely lovely, and if the service had not been so poor here, the accommodations would have been just fine. Given the myriad of comparable hotel choices within the same vicinity, I would not recommend this one. Devamı

We got there pretty early like 9 30am and they were able to give us the room at that time. The room it self is awesome with ultramodern decor, loved the shower, flat screen tv. Very nice bed. We also like the location, it was pretty much at the center of Barcelona not too far from all the main attractions. Actually the tourist bus drives in front of […] the hotel. nice clean and modern rooms --14 th floor excellent view of barcelona...very helpfull people at desk ....they were able to exchange monies ,,suggest local resturant in walking distance .... we will return and highly reccommend this hotel ...

Our bags were missing for a day after our flight from the U.S., but we were very glad to check into our hotel and the modern, comfortable room. Well-appointed, nice linens, and an amazing three-option shower (although the shower has some transparency from the bed, I took the framed picture and leaned it against that wall while I showered. Not a problem […] if you're traveling with a romantic partner, however!). Not a grand hotel, but still a modern, clean lobby and a staff I found overall helpful. It is a bit far from the metro stop, as others have stated, but the major street it's on (they have two sets of windows to minimize the traffic noise) feels very safe at night and you just have to figure out a few bus routes if you're not interested in the walk. Seems like it would be a bit noisy if you had next-door neighbors going in and out at all hours, but we only heard a door slamming once or twice. All considered, the best bargain we had on our trip and I've told friends I have a recommend if they visit. I love Barcelona for many reasons, and this affordable hotel in the heart of the city is one more. Devamı

Tres bon hotel. chambre spacieuse, propre, pas de bruit, wifi gratuite, petit dejeuner tres correcte, personnel aimable. Possibilité de se déplacer facilement en bus. Ajout facile d'un lit supplementaire dans la chambre

Helt greit hotell med en flott beliggenhet.Fantastisk hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Vi kommer til å bruke dette hotellet neste gang vi er i Barcelona - GARANTERT!!!

hotel avec un très bon rapport qualité prix. Nous étions 3 dans la chambre (fille de 11ans) lit d'appoint très convenable. Chambre spacieuse mais pas très bien insonorisée. Petit déjeuner très copieux. Seules notes un peu négative : pas de parking voiture, nous en avons trouvé un à qqs centaines de mètres à 25€ par jour et la station de métro la plus […] proche "hospital clinic" à 800/900 mètres. Me encantó la habitación, confortable y bien decorada, pero lo que resultaba espectacular fueron las vistas maravillosas sobre Barcelona. Merece la pensa sólo eso.

Me fascino la excelente ubicacion del Hotel. El barrio es muy pintoresco y elegante. Muy accesible a muchas areas de interes historicos y culturales. La atencion del personal fue muy buena. Sugerencia - el bano no tenia puerta, de forma tal el agua de la regadera salpicaba al piso fuera de la tina.

Hôtel relativement proche des sites touristiques joignables par bus ou métro . Environnement bruyant de jour par le voisinage du boulevard mais bien isolé . Le revêtement des parties communes pourrait être revisité et les vitrages nettoyés . A part ces détails ce fut un réel plaisir de passer quelques jours dans cet établissement de charme. La chambre […] vaste, comprend un salon et un équipement de qualité : grande penderie(avec fer et planche à repasser, coffre gratuit),WC , douche et lavabo séparés intégrant nécessaires et objets de toilette variés et de qualité. Nous avons passés un sejour formidable dans cet hotel, il est tres propre, le personel est present et a l'ecoute. Le lit est vraiment confortable après de longue journée de marche, on se repose vraiment bien. El baño de nuestra habitación no ocupaba un espacio aparte y aislado, sino que estaba repartido en tres espacios: en la entrada de la habitación el lavabo y a ambos lados dos mamparas de cristal para aislar la taza a un lado y la ducha al otro, ésta sin iluminación propia; todo lo cual hace que se resienta la intimidad. Fint hotell med stora rymliga rum. Ligger perfekt på den stora gatan. Rekommenderas gärna . Ca 4 km till fotbollsstadion och ca 4 km till centrum/hamnen.

Hotellet har gode faciliteter og en lækker morgenbuffet. Venlig betjening og super beliggenhed mellem de kendte butikker og lækre restauranter. Boede højt oppe, hvilket gav en flot udsigt. Jeg vil gerne anbefale dette hotel til andre.

N'hésitez pas ! C'est un hôtel très agréablement agencé, insonorisé, calme et bien situé. Le service est impeccable et le personnel très agréable. aucune fausse note. Pour les amateurs du petit déjeuner, celui de l'Hesperia est vraiment, vraiment, vraiment sympa.

Hyggelig hotellpersonell, avslappet stemning. Flott resepsjonsområde og pene rom. Hotellet ligger i et område som opplevdes trygt og oversiktlig, lett å lokalisere ift adresse. Evt noe langt fra sentrumsområdet rundt Rambla, litt for langt å gå særlig med barn i varmen. Men taxi går greit - ikke altfor dyrt.

Excellent accueil, chambre confortable, très design, isolation parfaite. décoration soignée. Petit déjeuner Buffet, gargantuesque, et très raffiné. Service irréprochable.
