The hotel is 10 minute away from Metro but this information is not well spread. I found it by asking front desk and didn't see a shuttle once I tried to go back hotel. Overall, the hotel and room are great and staff are friendly. It's pity the pool is not open in end of April.

I stayed in Bethesda due to tkaing a very expensive exam the following morning for my career improvement. The hotel was beautiful however the air conditioner ran in cycles and kept me up all night long defeating the purpose for my stay. The only reason I chose to spend the money to stay was to get a good night of rest. Once I turned the air conditioner […] off, I woke sweaty. The air conditioner was so noisy I slept maybe 4 hours. Something needs to be done because it was awful. Other than that, the hotel was so clean and amazing, the sleep part ruined my stay. Devamı

Our daughter plans on going to college in DC. the hotel was convenient to the schools we looked at and we actually loved the restaurant in the lobby. It will be perfect if we visit her in the future.

It's outside of DC but it made a great base for us to explore Washington and the surrounding areas. When we arrived we found out that we'd been upgraded to a kitchenette room...we weren't sure what this meant but when we got into the room all we could say was WOW! A beautiful large bedroom for us and then another room with basic kitchen gear and a […] sofa bed for the kids....oh and the most enormous television. The team at the hotel were great from the off, everybody couldn't help us enough especially the kids! We didn't eat at the hotel because Bethesda has so many great restaurants there was no need! The bar however was really good and I was kept happy... Getting into DC was really easy - a short five minute walk to the metro, jump on the red line and you're in town in about 15 minutes. Everything is really good in this hotel: free high-speed internet, location near metro station and comfortable big room, and shuttle bus is provided as well. Price is surprisingly low!!

We went to DC with our kids for spring break. The rooftop pool was closed because its too cold in April. We used the free shuttle provided by the hotel to the metro station, they did not let us know that when we called to be picked up we should be at the Hyatt front desk on street level. Sometimes they were slow picking up also. Overall we were happy […] with the hotel, staff, and had alot of surrounding markets and resturants. BTW all local retailers charge $.05 for a bag, kind of odd. Devamı

Fab room. Kingside bed with exquisite linens, giant flat screen with extensive cable format. Above average fitness room with brand new equipment, sterilized headphones provided for TVs on card machines. Bathroom ESP. spacious with contemporary decor and all amenities. I guess I was under the workout room or something. I was on the 14th floor. I heard thumping over my head like someone stomping. Very unpleasant. Other than that, no complaints.

Great room. Buffet breakfeast very disappointing

Hotel was selected because of proximity to business destination. I could walk to Metro and room was terrific.

The staff at the hotel was fantastic and the restaurant was equally fantastic. The only downsides were the bed was not particularly comfortable and my wireless internet was cut off before I had checked out.

vallet parking only (costly), pleasent people,lots of fun,food and shopping in walking of hotel.I would stay again !

The hotel room was very spacious and comfortable. I liked the mirror and sink outside of the bathroom, because my daughter and I were able to get ready at the same time without interfering with each other. The only thing missing was a refrigator.

My stay at the Doubletree Hotel was overall very good. The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly and it was very conveniently located to the downtown area by foot, bus, and metro. I gave it a 3 for cleanliness because I noticed that my top sheet had a stain (I don't know if it was a permanent one or not), and because one day when I came back […] in the maid had haphazardly made the bed where one of the sheets was bunched up at the bottom. However, I basically did feel comfortable there and would stay there again. Devamı

Close to local sites in downtown Bethesda. Friendly service. Loved the cookies when we checked in!

Great hotel, very clean. And it's non-smoking. All the rooms smell fresh and they have special hotel rooms if you have allergies. The location is great, service was great, and the view from the room is beautiful.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The toilet broke during our stay however it was fixed in no time at all.

Stayed here for 3 nights over Christmas weekend with my boyfriend visiting from Florida. Check-in was super fast and the cookies were a pleasant surprise! The room was oh-so comfortable; I've never slept in a hotel bed that comfortable! Lots of space, nice bathroom. My ONLY gripe would be the absence of a fridge & microwave. We had to finish everything […] we ate out or be forced to eat it cold later. No loud neighbors and all staff was prompt and friendly. Hotel is conveniently located by Bethesda metro, a 10 minute walk or less than 5 minute bus ride. There are also plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. We both had a fantastic time and I would definitely stay here again for the great price I got! Devamı

A good mid-range hotel, and a great bargin for the money. Withing walking distant (for those of you who enjoy walking) or a free bus ride right by the hotel from downtown Bethesda and to the subway to Washing, DC. We will certainly stay there again.

I guess I expected a bit more. We had the choice of several hotels in the area and we picked this one because we recognized the brand and weren't quite sure about the others. This one was more expensive than the nearby choices. For starters, they didn't offer us our cookies when we checked in. I forgot about this until I saw them for sale in the lobby […] Starbucks for $1.25 each. The biggest problem though was the shower. The water knob felt like it was going to fall off and there was a very (very!) narrow zone between cold and scalding. The worst part was that the temperature wouldn't stay stable so you had to keep adjusting the temperature and stay on your toes if it felt like it was getting too hot. The other annoyance, which would have been minor except for the shower, is that one of the lights in our room was out. We didn't bother to ask them to fix it, just didn't seem worth the trouble but, it would have been nice if it had been working. Devamı

The experience was a comfortable one from the Valet to House Keeping! It was such an easy check-in/check-out process that it took 2 minutes before I realized it was complete! Absolutely seamless. Rooms are comfortable and spacious enough that you don't feel claustrophobic. Easy to use thermostat allowed me to set my preferred temperature and well insulated […] rooms, kept the air conditioner off the majority of the time! Devamı

The room was small and the bed was hard to sleep on. The Coffee Shop opened at 6:30 AM. Would be nice for me if it was earlier. I was surprised to see my 3 days cost me almost $60 for parking. The staff were very friendly. Not that I would steer anyone from this place...just wouldn't recommend

This hotel offers free wireless, which is great, but I was there for two days and found it to be incredibly hard to make a connection and to keep it from dropping once a connection was made. The Internet access was basically useless the whole time I was there. Otherwise I was very satisfied with the hotel and the room.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. and the cookies cant be beat :)

My family (we had 3 rooms) loved the comfort of the beds, the pillows and comforters. Easy walk to Metro and hotel staff were extremely accomodating and helpful. For a two night stay, no complaints at all. My Mom had the crab cakes for a room service lunch and said they were extraordinary!

I love the room and it was very pleasant! However, when my guest inquired about parking, we were told that due to it being the weekend, the parking was free after 10 PM. I will make a note that guests need to be informed about the available parking and the correct times so guests aren't subjected to misunderstandings and miscommunication. The only beef I had about the hotel maintenance is that there were three elevators but only one was working. The wait could be pretty bad, and I wound up taking the steps a time or two from my room on the ninth floor and I think it saved considerable time. However, that should be a temporary issue and everything else was very nice--the exercise room […] I thought was well above average. Parking is $20/night there, but if you are there on a weekend there's a city garage out back that is free on weekends. The area seems quite safe. The hotel is on the "Bethesda Circulator," which is a free bus that runs in about a 20 minute loop from the Bethesda shopping and restaurant area to hotels and residences nearby. Devamı

Hotel was nice enough, but was awoken 3 times during the night by neighboring rooms.

Service employees were wonderful. The room smelled due to shower curtain that smelled moldy, probably from not being dried fully. Service was kind and I'm sure would have changed it, but I do not like to point out those problems, have been blasted from being honest in the past....other places, the ol' spit in your food idea...
