Hotel was well located just a 10 minute walk from main street in Georgetown. I was surprised that they had a free shuttle...did not known that when I booked hotel. Free ride to metro every day and to restaurant on M street in Georgetown for dinner one evening. Rooms can use a makeover but were clean. Could not beat the price compared to other hotels […] in DC. Hotel has some construction going on in parking, but we were out all day so we were not affected by any construction noise there may have been. Joseph at front desk recommended Town Hall a couple of blocks away - very good dinner at local type place. Easy walk from the hotel. Devamı

Didn't know Washington at all and found room at a reasonable price that could accommodate 5 people(2 adults,3 kids). It was close to the red line metro station to which the hotel had a free shuttle. So convenient for our needs to do the tourist thing. Close to restaurants too and morning breakfast at hotel restaurant better than the usual buffet.

We never stayed because we got kicked out before check-in but after I had paid for six rooms for a four day period for 18. You do the math. Nothing made much sense until after crisis management, I contacted the booking agency and they were helpful in removing credit card costs in a decently timely manner. I never saw the rooms, but my students (who […] got kicked of my pre-booked unit) described it as 'a dump.' We ended up on our feet and got happily ensconsed elsewhere in the DC area, but the effort to find an emergency crash pad--even a storage of luggage in my pre-booked room---went in vain, even while the hotel took in a large chunk of money from my credit card to cover what they would not. In short, I will never trust the Holiday Inn/Goergetown/DC to do anything for me, my guests, my students or anyone else. Shame on you. Devamı

The room at this hotel was threadbare -- the caulking on the bathroom tub was moldy and blackened, and the paint was peeling on the ceiling above the shower. We were in the room next to the elevator bank, and there was a perpetual grinding noise. We went to the hotel's restaurant for a bite, and they messed up 2 of our 5 entrees. We checked out after […] one night into our planned three night stay. I must commend the management for their willingness to listen to our problems, and help us resolve them quickly. The location of the hotel was great. It was close to many shops, restaurants and attractions. The hotel was clean. The customer service and front desk were not polite or helpful.

For an overnight stay this was very suitable. The price was right for what you get. We had a problem with the thermostat -but was fixed immediately. I heard strange noises in the walls-perhaps little creatures, but the bed was 10 times more comfortable then the Bellagio in Las Vegas!

Deffinately would and will stay here again a nice neighborhood and conveniant to anywhere in DC

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Washington-Georgetown for a business trip and was very satisfied with the proximity to both the Georgetown campus and local restaurants. The rooms are pretty standard for what you expect out of a Holiday Inn and the pricing was very fair. It is only minutes from the Georgetown campus, so if you are doing business […] there, it is perfect. However, if you are looking to go sight-seeing, it probably makes sense to stay closer to the attractions, as traffic was pretty rough getting from the hotel to the monuments. Devamı

Came in late and haggared. Clerk went beyond the call of duty to check me in, take care of my car, and even provided breakfast. When I saw the hotel key said Stay Inspired, I shared my experience with everyone. Booked another stay there in Feb. too. Other students in my class went to another hotel and were disappointed. This hotel is conveniently located to the person we were visiting. It is convenient to the Circulator bus, restaurants, and shopping. I will definitely stay here again.

The size and cleanliness was good. Had a hard time believing they would charge extra for normal TV watching. Also, Parking costs $30 per day, just an FYI...

Convient location, food in restaurant was average, service very good except the bartender, not friendly. I'd stay there again primarily because of the front desk staff.

The hotel is nice, and the attached restaurant nicer. However the hotel will nickel and dime you to death. Parking is $30 per night, $15 for Priority Club members, and the business center charges $0.40 per minute to use the slow computers for airline check-in or any purpose. Surprisingly, a very fast WiFi is not an additional charge.

Reasonable and good food. Near to my son's place and could avoid traffic getting to him. Only wish there had been ESPN U to watch an exciting Clemson game Sat night in the room! Room service and the staff are great about helping with anything. Would definitely return.

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

The only issue i have is having to pay for parking, i believe it should be free considering the money you pay for the room and the car spaces they have available.

The advantage of this hotel is that it is close to Georgetown University with reasonable rates.

This hotel had some problems. Our original room had problems with our shower. Once the water was on it didn't turn off and was running for for more than 30mins. When we called downstairs to get it fixed nobody came. We had to go downstairs and wait for someone to come back up to the room to look at it and then they just told us to move. In the end they […] gave us a free night. If you want to be close to Georgetown University and don't mind staying in a o.k. hotel then this if for you. Devamı

Great location and ease to get to various attractions

Clean, comfortable, quiet. Only if you like close quarters, stay here (room small and too close to college "stuff") - also, we had no microwave and fridge (and with children, that's tough) - knowledge of hotel staff was minimal (or lazy) - b'fast buffet was good - supper was good at hotel - pool had no steps (again, with children, that's hard) - close […] to MetroBus (for children under age 10, that's a plus) - was surprised when we had a "parking" fee (didn't see that in the hotel description!) - overall, paid too much. Friendly staff, but I wish I'd been more assertive following through with my request to be given a quiet room. The receptionist said she would, but when I got to my room it was close to the elevator and near the ice machine. Next time I'll ask for the hallway layout to see exactly where my room is.

We found the hotel staff helpful and the rooms clean and adequate. The beds were great. Convenient bus stops. There is a very nice Safeway grocery two blocks away with a Starbucks, bakery, and fresh food. We had a cheap, nice breakfast and got other supplies. My family and i had a mini-vacay in Washington D.C. and were very pleased with our accomodations. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was close to cute shops and neighborhoods. i highly recommend the Holiday Inn Georgetown., an extremely pleasant stay.

The hotel itself was great...getting to resturants is do-able if you're in your own car. Not great selections within walking distance.

Small room, small pool. The pool schedule is too short for a summer time, 10-9PM, it was 102 in DC and no pool available after a day full of activities. Very expensive parking. Do not reccomend this hotel.

Staff is inadequately trained and the front desk is less than helpful. I do not recommend for families.

First greeting was an party going on in the lobby. Pizza boxes and loud people bouncing around is not what you want to find in the hotel lobby @ 0030 in the morning checking in. The guy behind the counter had gone hiding and needed some cues to pop his head up. Breakfast place in the hotel is poor and expensive. There is an independent restaurant (just […] opposite the icecream place - Thomas Sweet) down the street that opens early and it is much better. In all - I guess you get what you pay for, but there is no excuse for the people supposed to work there. Location is OK - close enough to M street for a walk or the Circular. Devamı

I was in Georgetown for a continuing education course @ Georgetown university hospital. It was a convenient 10 minute walk to the hospital, and near many restaurants, whole foods, and Safeway. The hotel room was average hotel size and beds/pillows were comfy. I was really only there to sleep and was pleased with it for the time I was there.

The staff was great, efficient, friendly. The rooms were just plush enough to be relaxed and very clean. We were there with our 2 kids and there was plenty of room. I would suggest that instead of eating in the hotel (which was expensive and nothing special, even though the wait staff was really nice) to walk out of the hotel, turn left and go one block […] to the Safeway and Starbucks for breakfast. There's a shuttle to the Metro for downtown DC, but it's just as easy to get the Circulator big red bus for $1 per person and ride that to a metro stop. You wait for it just across the street from the Safeway. Once we found out to do that, everything got a lot easier, even though the shuttle driver was really great, a nice man and very helpful, we found it a bother to wait 30 minutes between shuttle runs...much more fun to walk down to the bus. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and willing to please. The location was fantastic! It was right in the middle of beautiful Georgetown and close to all of the great little shops and eateries.
