Clarion Inn Cookeville - Cookeville

Had to ask for free breakfast, they were going to charge $5 for what was advertised as free. Then I could barely eat . The fruit was rotten. I ate one piece of fruit & was afraid I was going to get sick which is the last thing you want when traveling. Room was clean but not as nice as advertised.

pool was nice.we stayed in an outside room.it was ok.website said complimentary breakfast which we had to tell the lady at desk and she gave us a voucher or we would have been charged.only offered coffee in lobby during breakfast.

The room was okay, but a little disappointing. This hotel had a 3 star rating, but I'm not sure how the rating was determined. There were some inside rooms, but our room had to accessed from outside which is what I consider more of motel accomodations. Just my opinion. It does have an indoor and outdoor pool and a big open area to relax in which seemed […] nice, but the rooms didn't quite match the expectations I had of a 3 star hotel. They are in need of some updating. I do have to say that the beds were comfortable though. There are plenty of places to eat and shop within a short distance. The stay was a very pleasent one. The employees were very helpful and pleasent.The room had all the items I needed example hair dryer, Iron and iron board ,extra towels, coffee pot will coffee and tea packs. The price was very reasonable. I will be happy to stay there any time I am in Cookeville Tn.

This is a large motel/hotel with outside and inside rooms. It is a former Holiday Inn "Holidome" facility. I found it a little overpriced and found a moderate amount of mold on the shower grout. The bed was adequate to above average. Old style TV. Fridge but no microwave in room. Free wifi. Quiet when away from the popular sports bar attached. Breakfast […] buffet for $5. The hotel is beginning to show its age, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk and the hot breakfast bar was warm and friendly. The location close to I40 was convenient.

We were disappointed because the website said there was an elevator, but when we got there with our dog, we were put on the second floor, NO elevator, and had to drudge up and down steps and through hallways every time the dog needed to go out.We were told the elevator is on the side where pets are not allowed!!!! that makes NO sense at all. Also, there […] was only a pak of decaf coffee with the coffeemaker, and no sugar or creamer. There was a long area along the bottom of the wall that had drywall missing, for what reason we never could figure out. Smoking rooms were horrible!

We booked this hotel for the weekend so we could visit nearby state parks. The hotel pool with water slide was a big hit with my 3 young sons. Staff was customer focused. Only complaint was there was a very loud party at the bar that kept the whole hotel up until 10:00 p.m. Wouldn't have bothered me if I didn't have the kids with me who needed their […] rest. Devamı

The hotel was clean and quiet but there was an large amount of flies in bushes outside rooms and when doors opened a lot of flies get in and you spend the night killing them. Plus when when walking the sidewalk there was just an abundance of the flies

I would NOT recommend this Hotel. Other Hotels in area in same price range are MUCH nicer.

Nice indoor pool/spa area. Great service and location. Whoever prepared my roon neglected to clean the bathroom.

I have stayed at this property several times over the past thirty-five to forty years. It was originally a Holiday Inn, but is now a Clarion Inn. I did not realize this was the former Holiday Inn when I made the reservation. Most Clarion's are newer properties and I expected more amenities. This motel needs some extensive renovation. Clarion Inn Cookeville was a quality hotel with a great slide and indoor pool for my family. Hotel was spacious, clean and the staff were very accomodating. Easy access to I-40 and surrounding restaurants are abundant.

the inn needed some repairs. the outside did not look real good. the room was nice and spacious, but it has some cleaning issues. the service was good.

the beds dipped in, obviously very old and decor from the 70's. The only revamp was on the lobby and indoor pool area

The room was clean and just as described. The breakfast buffet was one of the better ones that I have seen. The indoor pool was not heated and uncomfortable to swim in. The staff was very pleasant. The price of the room and breakfast was a bargain.

The house keeping staff were very helpful and caring to insure all our needs were taken care of. The excercise room was clean and internet was available. Breakfast was good and items on the menu were changed daily. Hotel is close to several places to eat at for lunch and dinner.

The room was very outdated and needs remodeling, but the beds were comfortable and clean. There was a slight musty odor to the room and it could have been a bit cleaner, but overall it was ok for the price. The best part of our stay was the free continental breakfast in the morning. While the location was convient, the facility is in bad need of updating. There were badly patched water stains on the ceiling and the bathroom fixtures were clearly outdated. My room was located between a group of construction workers, which enjoyed the happy hour. They were loud and foul mouthed and woke me up I never did get back to sleep. The lobby and dining area of the hotel looked very nice, but the next building to the rear (where my roon was) was in great need of renovation.

This is a great place to stay in Cookeville. The room was spacious and spotless and the bed very comfy. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. I left a pair of shoes, came back through town four days later, and they had them waiting for me. I definitely will stay here again.

It's not a high end hotel but for the money its good enough. The breakfast wasn't the greatest. The pool area is really nice for kids.

Very nice hotel, clean, friendly and a great location. There was no problem with our late check-in.

I paid half as much for this room as another on our trip and it was in a much better area, and I was very surprised how clean and up to date the room was. Check in was smooth even at 1:30AM in the morning and check out was even easier. I would greatly recommend this hotel. Had Reservations Explaned we would be in late that night it was in August Room was hot when we went in AC was not on.so we turned it on we thought it would cool down it did not to late to change rooms. deask did not seam to care.

Room was very cramped and was not cleaned well at all.Breakfast was good pool was okay but very shallow. Room smelled of mildew.

Very nice room for the money. There were several pillows in the room which was nice! Nice shower, quite, near a lot of places to eat. Very happy overall. Floor looked a little dirty but that was my only complaint.

Hotel was in a convenient location, and the pool was a delightful surprise to our children ages 5-13. The continental breakfast was delicious and the servers were extremely polite and gracious. The hallway connecting exterior rooms a bit musty smelling, but plusses far outweighted the minuses.

The hotel appeared as pictured, but it was not clean as it should have been. When we arrived to the room there was dust build up on the lamp fixtures and the bathroom need to be mopped. After a while I went back to the desk and repeated my complaint, finally he sent someone to the room for repairs. My husband and I went on an overnight trip with our 4 year old and this was a perfect hotel for him. The indoor/outdoor pool only went to 4 ft and it had a great indoor water slide. The beds were really comfortable and the free breakfast was really nice the next morning. Have stayed at several different Clarions...some really good and some not so good. This one was very nice expecially for the price. The hotel is somewhat dated but well kept. Very nice complimentary continental breakfast. Convenient to interstate, restaurants and mall. Highly recommend.
