Garden Plaza Hotel Atlanta Norcross - Norcross

My room was clean; clean sheets, towels and bathroom. I didn't encounter any plumbing or electrical problems. The main drawback was lack of a diner on the same side of the street as the hotel. I had to cross on foot a very busy large intersection to a diner. There had been a restaurant at the hotel but it was closed. Called ahead of time and was told the WiFi worked but it didn't, the hot tub was not working, restaurant and bar was not open in the hotel and was just very unhappy. Thepictures on the hotel website is very misleading. Was there for training for my job but will not ever stay there again.

When I arrived the staff was friendly, I had been traveling all day however and did not want to go out on the road again, so I was going to dine in the hotel, the hotel restaurant had been closed for a few years the receptionist told me, after I stood there figuring out why it wasn't open and had to go ask. I read the breakfast was good, not so much, […] eggs and sometime potatoes, other then that it was thin one flavor bagels, white toast or an eggo, small muffins and pastry, plus activa yogurt, which I can't stand. The cups were the size of what you would use for mouth wash, and it wasn't real cranberry or orange juice. The worst was my last night there, my room became infested with lady bugs, I had a 2 Mon, 4 Tue, and a few Wed, as the weather got nicer, the lady bugs came, I spent all night killing them, rhey were flying over my head, falling on me, on my bed, when I thought I had finally gotten rid of them and went to sleep I woke up with the room full again, I was going to stay the next week because my conference was 2 weeks, but I had to cancel and book else where. The fridge hummed through the night, and there weren't enough electrical outlets, I would have let that slide, even dealt with the breakfast, but my room being overrun by lady bugs...... my room had lady bugs there was no hot tub working the breakfast was bad they had no variety the smell in the lobby was bad i would not recommend staying here until everything has been updated and fix

Needs a lot of work to get it to better rating.

Just stayed at the Garden Plaza for a week while I was in town for business. Their website makes it look like there's a nice sports bar in the lobby. The place is a ghost town which probably hasn't poured a beer in years. The pool is trashy....and the hot tub was empty with a hose in it. Dont waste your time with this place. I could have easily spent […] less in a similar area that had more amenities. Very disappointing experience...don't waste your money/time. the ppl here are nice, the rooms are nice, it's just so NICE!

The only complaint I have is that the air / heating unit was a little loud. Not a deal baker though. The room was very nice.

I feel a bit mean as the staff were very friendly but this hotel is at the end of it's life. The hot tub was still and green and we booked for the indoor pool and would have risked our health to use it. This hotel was previously a Holiday Inn. Close to grocery and other conveniences. Hotel itself is under new ownership. Hot tub did not work and was green. Pool was dirty and had leaves in it in the inside portion (indoor/outdoor). Business center had one computer that did not work and once I got it working employees did not know password to access internet. […] Room was clean but there was a huge hole in wall. Needed overall spiffing up i.e. caulking in bathroom etc. Lobby has large atrium so whole inside of hotel on all floors was freezing cold...and outside temp on days were there was 45-55 degrees. We had to move to 4 different rooms before we could get settled. we went from floor to floor because the rooms has a ton of lady bugs in every corner of the room and they were flying all around the rooms. It was ridiculous. I will not recommend that hotel to anyone.

Hotel is dated but a very good choice for the price. Very helpful staff. No complaints to speak of.

Nothing too extaordinary about this hotel. Room was pretty clean and breakfast was good. I have stayed here few years back when it was Holidays Inn & I think I would stay here again in future.

The staff was rude with a terrible language barrier. Lobby smelt of dirty creek water. Maintenance of the hotel in whole was beyond failing and poor. I made reservations here for a suite, and they booked me for a normal room. I fought for my rights and to no avail, hotels.com had to re book me elsewhere. The worst hotel I had ever been to. This hotel was great for the price, like the others have stated, it does need to be updated. The bed was comfortable and the housemaids were really friendly. This is a good hotel for someone who will not be spending a lot of time in the hotel, but has activities or meetings during the day. It is very quiet.

The hotel is nice, kind of old, but well-maintained. The wireless is unstable. The breakfast is awesome!

Not Bad (Not exactly 5 star as listed). Not as "Modern" as most, but the room was clean. The Front entry needs some dusting. Very dusty structures and walls. Overall I would call it a 3.5 hotel.

Booked this room because the price was fair, was somewhat close to downtown Atl and had a spa hottub. Found it fairly easy, but actually getting to downtown was a series of odd highways and some backtracking. Staff was extremely nice and that was a huge plus. Breakfast was decent, for one that was included. Room was clean and bed was pretty comfortable. […] Hottub was not in service whatsoever, and that was one of my main reasons for booking. Really needed a good soak and was hoping to do that during my mini-vaca. The hotel was extremely outdated with very old decor in rooms (allbeit very clean). Refrigerator in room was dreadful with broken seal, but that wasn't a deal breaker. One could clearly see that this hotel was very nice in its hayday, but hasn't had any updates in many moons. It certainly didn't ruin my stay, but I won't be going back. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel. The staff greeted us very cordially, the room was very clean and very comfortable. We only regret we did not have time to stay longer.

They had to change my room because the toilet did not work. The room we was moved to the bath tub did not drain while we took our showers. The inside pool was not clean and the hot tub had green water this was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.

Very quiet with only 40 people staying the night we were there Dec 2th. Recently changed from a Holiday Inn. Very professional staff who helped us with a lost pocket book, they found and returned to us. A little surprised to find a $25 charge on my debit card when I got home. We called and found this was a security charge that was going to be removed […] in a few days. Would have prefered to know this was going to happen before the fact. Devamı

It is hard to complaine at the great price we got with hotels.com but this was a 4 star hotel before the market crash. Now it is a hotel trying to hang on with a skeleton crew and a very limited budget. I feel sorry for the owners. There were 8 rooms booked total the night we were there and all on the 8th floor. Overall, cheap and good deal. But wifi doesn't work in the room. but works in the hallway. no indoor pool.

Very nice, clean hotel for the low price. It had a indoor outdoor connected pool. Very nice bar and restaurant. I would stay there again. Pleasant staff too.

This property was well maintained and customer service was excellent.
