This is a very convenient hotel to stay when you go for vacation in Great Smoky Mountains. During our stay, although the hotel condition needed to be updated, the hotel service was friendly, the breakfast was exceptionally great.

A very nice hotel, yet the facility needs to be updated. The breakfast was excellent, great restaurant. A convenient place to stay for visiting the great smoky mountains.

This hotel has been our get away every time because of closeness to Harrah's Casino. Been there many times before but noticed on our last stay the walls and curtain valance were very dusty, and the wi-fi was horrible lots of trouble to connect and then faded. Also their indoor pool and spa was closed, not like other times. And their restaurant didn't […] serve lunch or dinner like the other times we stayed there. We like the holtel bvery much but they should look at updating the bath room sink our looked dirty but it was just worn. The people are the best. we will be back.

Comfy beds and great breakfast!

I was exceptionally pleased with the comfort of the hotel and its employees. Many people write reviews as if they are staying in their own homes, but for the two days that I stayed, it was relaxing, clean, friendly staff as well as helpful with details and directions. It was only a short distance away from Harrah's casino and the town. You had plenty […] of sightseeing to do from this destination and the breakfast buffet for the weekend was delicious and abundant at all times. Earnest the waiter was exceptional and the breakfast for the week days was just as good. The quality of this hotel was great all around and the art on the wall was intriguing. The food was excellent for dinner and breakfast. The breakfast buffet was included in the room charge. Everyone was pleasant.

My stay was so good and satisfying that I stayed an extra night.

OK, I believe this hotel deserves 2.5 stars. The room is plain and simple but the bathroom did not meet our expectations even for 3 stars. The sink was not exactly in good shape (looked old, damaged, and uneven to the point it retained water over the soap). The shower does not exactly invite you to take a shower. We found objects over the TV cabinet […] and under the bed skirt that were left by previous users which tells you a lot about the cleaning process. Breakfast was good. Considering it was free I am not going to complaint the fact you have to order the bacon separately at not extra charge. Weird but that is the way they handle it. Great weekend breakfast buffet!

Clean and quiet. The staff was very courteous. Free breakfast buffet was great and fresh each morning. Enjoyed our stay and will recommend this hotel to all my friends.

This is the place to stay in Cherokee! I have been to Cherokee alot(6-8 times a year) and this is the best yet! SUPER clean, friendly, close to everything. A must stay for family.

Three night stay did not clean room one day, had to call and ask for towels and trash pick up and that is all they did. Cold wind blew in from under door as sealing needs to be replaced. Will not be back again ever, was a lot better when it was a Holiday Inn.

My husband and I spent the night at the Chestnut Tree Inn Cherokee on 2/19/12. It was one of the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The room were clean and nice, the staff was curdouis and helpful and the free buffet was good. We will stay there again when visiting Cherokee. Also, it's was just 3 minutes from Harrah's and shopping.

The restaurant and indoor pool are accessable via the lobby, all rooms have outside doors so you have to go out to get to the pool. Not very good during the cold months. Thought there might be room service since the restaurant is attached. The hot buffet breakfast was very good, however. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. My husband and I have stayed here before, and were so impressed with the service, room, and free breakfast that we decided to stay again. It is close to the downtown center and casino, and we have never had an issue there...Love it, we will stay there again.

Had a pleasant stay at chestnut. Everyone was very courteous and would stay there again

Older Holiday Inn but we have been staying here off and on for about 5 years. Not new, but clean and comfortable. Front desk staff is great. Reasonable rates and a great free breakfast. No complaints.

EXCELLENT hotel. Hot buffet breakfast was great. The room was nice and clean and not run down. The staff was friendly and very helpful when I asked questions. It looks like they spent all there money on the lobby! Tv was in and out as was the Internet. The breakfast was really good. Room door was hard to shut and there for you could hear other guest slamming there door. Next time I will be stay at the casino.

Motel is the old Holiday Inn. Motel is 30+ years old and showing age. Breakfast was good, but limited space meant waiting to get food and also table. It does offer bus service to casino every hour. The rooms are old style "windows" on front of room. A bit noisy compared to the modern day solid wall rooms. I won at Cherokee on my last stay! There is a smell, not terrible, but noticable, at this hotel. My husband didn't notice it so much. The rooms are clean and everything worked. It is convenient to the casino. I have never had any issues with noise staying here. The hot breakfast bar is okay. For the money, it is a great deal and I would return.

Booked on lineafter reading miced reviews...pleasantly surprised..great value...clean room...great full breakfast buffet...would stay again.

Clean room. All the conveniences. Very comfortable bed. Great free breakfast . I would definitely stay there again.

Overall, it was a pretty decent stay. The only gripes were the brightness of the room at night....had to use some creativity to make it darker. The free internet never worked in the room. We mentioned something to the staff, but nothing was ever done about it. Fairly decent breakfast buffet....could have offered a few more choices...no toast, bagels, […] cereals, or fruit. Great breakfast buffet, very friendly and caring staff. Older hotel, but has been well maintained. The only negative was that behind the nightstand needed cleaning and vaccuuming.

We were here for only one night, arrived late and left early. The check-in was great, the room a typical hotel room, comfortable bed, clean room. The hot breakfast buffet was a big plus. This hotel is right down the street from the Smokey Mountain National Park and the town is beautiful.

We were very happy with our stay at the chestnut hill inn. Very clean, friendly staff (except one of the waitresses during breakfast nut she wasn't rude either). Lovely hotel, close to everything pretty much.
