The staff was friendly and helpful, our room was comfortable, clean and quiet, parking was convenient, and Portland, as always, was delightful!! Thank-you Holiday Inn!

The room was nice, comfortable and clean. The hotel employees were courteous and prompt. The shuttle driver was awesome. It was so convenient to have the shuttle to take us the short distance to the Old Port.

This was a great hotel. Not to far a walk from downtown and all the cute shops. They were under renovation but the room was very clean and comfy. They had a restaurant on site but we never ate there. Would stay again.

We traveled here for a conference and stayed here since it was affordable. There is a lot of bang for your buck. The rooms are very comfortable. The in room internet connection was great. There was a day I had to work in the room and it was not a problem. However the highlight for me was the pool. It was a very underutilized amenity. There were times […] I had it all to myself. There was even a day when there were no towels. I called up the front desk and they quickly brought them. All in all it was a great stay and if I ever come back, I'll be sure to stay here again. It was as it always has been in the past. Fairly convenient to everything and comfortable. Meals are very pricey. Food is ok. The maid service has changed. I used to leave the room after 11 without a problem and always came back to my bed made, trash taken and used towels changed. The second day, we were leaving the room and was asked if I needed towels. […] I said yes and she started handing them to me. So I said, and the bed made. She took the towels back and said nevermind, I'll take these.(?????). It was a good weekend though and as always, will go back to that hotel the next time we are in town. Devamı

Overall I was pleased. but .. The wait to get a room was not expected and upset our plans.It set our two night stay off on the" uncomfortable" side.We were tired from a long drive and wanted a rest before our PM plans. That didn't happen.The breakfast buffet was good but overpriced.

We had a great time. Parking was tight but they had alternatives for us. Well worth the trip and the money.

The hotel is a bit old, but in good repair. What is always comes down to is the quality of service. A pretty place can be as cold as a tomb if there is bad service. This place, however, has hired people who are attentive and will do their best to make your stay comfortable, in a friendly manner. That makes all the difference.

I was very impressed with the hotel staff-very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. The courtesy van was really helpful. Picked us up at the airport and dropped us to the train station. The hotel was clean, the room large and the location is central to portland. I would stay here again for sure.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Two breakfasts and one dinner in the restaurant were well-prepared and tasty. The view from Room 624 was beautiful, especially at sunrise.

I love the free shuttle service. I was attending a Christmas party and didn't have to worry about driving. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The shower water was super hot and there's a mini Keurig in the room.

We enjoyed our stay here, it is very convenient to the Old Port area of Portland. Our stay was too brief to fully appreciate most of the hotel's amenities, but free parking is always appreciated in Portland.

There were certain inadequacies in the hotel. The safe in my room was not functioning and the cleaning staff should have noted that. The refrigerator in the room made too much noise but I found a way to muffle it but that really was not my responsibilty. The breakfast was far too expensive. The staff was pleasant.

The hotel service was wonderful. They put us in a room on the upper floor where we had bird eye view of the Portland city. The room was a decent size and had a contemporary style which we love. However, the bathroom had an odd angle layout and didn't have a full body mirror. great fitness room, pool and saunas (single sex only). restaurant dining was pleasant, food good and value was also good. free coffee in the lobby (hot choc if the machine was working). front desk helpful with maps of the area, free in room wifi but sadly left our computer at home and none available for guest use.

The staff is very welcoming from the shuttle driver to the front desk and cleaning associates. The room was bright and clean! Loved having a 'fridge in the room, however it did make a weird buzzing sound at times-minor though. The swimming pool was wonderful. Normally hotel pools are small, but not this one.

The hotel was easy to find. The rooms were well designed and comfortable. Although it is close to a main road there was no traffic noise. It was quite a long walk into town.

When I booked I only had the option to go for a smoking room. The hotel had a wedding that weekend and all non-smoking rooms were booked. I thought I'd give it a shot, but I have to say it was quite awful. We had a spacious, clean King size room, but no option to open a window and the smell was in your hair and clothes within minutes. After two nights […] in the smoking room we were finally able to move. The room was much smaller, but non-smoking and newly renovated with a bay view. I would give that room a 5, the other smoking one was a 2 at best. Location is good, it's a 10 minute walk to the bars and restaurants at the bay, and the staff is is very nice and happy to give you a complementary lift anywhere in town. Devamı

Sarah front desk was Wonderful!! Night manager SUCKED!!!!!Our room was not taken care of properly, When asked for clean sheets she changed sheets but nut pillow cases..Worst experience night managers attitude ,Rude and unexceptable!!!!!!I was a trainer and lead for Disney for many years never saw what I saw what I did with the night manager I met at […] Portland Maine !!!!Rude and disrespectful!!!! Staff fantastic .. couldn't ask for better .. the swimming pool was equally great although could do with better changing rooms !! (clean even !!) and more towels larger than the size of a facecloth !!!...... The hotel rooms whilst large smelt musty and the air conditioner couldn't keep up at all with the temperature at all .. we had a water facing room […] but had to keep the curtains closed because the room was already unbearably hot !!! and smelly .. It was also too far from the center if you had children and wanted to walk anywhere for dinner .... great for adults to walk back up the hill not for children !! Devamı
