Moldy/mildew odor pervasive in the room. Rug worn with tattered edges. Handicapped bathroom that we did not request required us to remove the tub seat. Pedastal sink provided no room for even a few toiletries. The odor, though was the most disturbing. There were no other rooms available.

The staff was very welcoming but we waited for 2 1/2 hours for towels. The bathroom was not clean and there was rust and ground in dirt on the floor. Two of the lights in the room didn't work and the dining are staff were a little unprofessional when it came to service, but maybe they were frazzeled by the volume of teams staying there!

10 minutes from downtown. Right on I-10 ramp. Easy to get to and lots of shopping and restaurants close. Top notch hotel with inside/outside pool and bar, full breakfast. Rooms were clean and the A/C worked like a champ. Zero Complaints

We have stayed at Holiday Inns all over the country, and this one in Baton Rouge was very nice. The room was quite comfortable, and a great mattress was a welcome surprise. The amenities of two pools and a spacious lobby were attractive. The breakfast was generous and nicely cooked...pancakes, scrambled eggs, grits, sausage and bacon, plus muffins and […] toast, yogurt, fruit and enormous glasses of OJ. Service was courteous, friendly and fast despite big crowds during LSU's homecoming weekend. What could be better! Devamı

It was like a motel bathroom was horrible and the room was not in building

Hotel was clean, good location, great stay. We were there from Weds - Sunday and couldn't get a fridge and the ice machine either didn't work or was always empty. Was a bummer to not have cold water / drinks, but otherwise great!!

Hotel sits in a good location relative to the interstate but in an unsafe neighborhood with little restaurants/shopping. Service in the dining room was slow and apathetic. The hotel might want to invest in more than 2 luggage carts.

This hotel has a old side and a new side. If you stay here ask for something above the 2nd floor. The old rooms are small, and nowherre near sound proof. Another guest was smoking outside my room and the smell came through the door. Not me anymore.

The Holiday Inn Baton Rouge South is mediocre at best. It is obviously a very old hotel and that shows up in your room. I do not think that very many people are going to be blown away by their rooms. However, the young lady at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. The first room I was assigned to had a screaming baby right next to it. The […] entire ten minutes I was in that room all I could hear was this baby. So I went down to the front desk, explained the situation, and with no hassles but with a smile I was given a different room plus an upgrade. She was incredibly nice and made the whole stay worthwhile. Devamı

This hotel is clean and comfortable. Be advised that there is both a tower and exterior/ground rooms. I stayed in the exterior building and it was quiet. The exterior rooms are very large and spacious.

Pleasently surprised. We walked into the main lobby which looks really new and nice. We were a little disappointed to find out that our room was in the older, outside location, but were very happy when we entered the room. It was much more updated than the outside suggested. Overall a great stay and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was easy to find. It was right off the highway and close to where we needed to be. On our arrival we did not have to wait long to check in. The young lady at the front desk allowed me to check in early. Even though it was in the back, it was still nice. I walked into a very nice room, nice walking distance from the pool. The room attendants […] came by on our stay to ask if we needed anything. I can not wait for my next stay, which will be at the Holiday Inn, in July. Devamı

This was a clean hotel in a convienant location. They are starting renovations to upgrade the db. to queens and should be even nicer when done.

Nothing fancy, but the bed was comfortable, the room very clean, and the people so friendly!

Very clean. Nice atmosphere. Would choose to stay here again.

We was satisfied with our room.We just loved the fact that our room was right by the two pools,but one of the pools was closed.Luckly the other one wasn't,even though it was hot outside I preferred to swim inside.As soon as we walked into our room we felt a cold breeze from the air conditioner.the beds were nicely made,the pillows were comfortable so […] was the mattress.Nothing had a smell,the bathroom was fresh and clean.The house keeping did an excellentjob.The second day of our we went to the resturant in the hotel.Personally, to me the food tasted okay.Not a single bug was seen in the room.Hoilday Inn made feel like we were at home.Hoilday Inn's motto is "It's always sunny at Hoilday Inn.'and it truely was.Thank you.
