Staff was kind. Room was clean. Check in was easy.

The hotel is HUGE! The staff was excellent, check-in and checkout was quick and easy. The hotel is very clean as well. The only drawback is it's not really in the center of town but everything is only a short drive away. I would absolutely stay in this hotel again.

Breakfast was great and the staff very friendly. Rooms standard, but workable. Location was prime in terms of being close to the highway and away from the Decatur city center. Great for covering multiple locations in Central Illinois.

I was worried because the sight had some negative feed back, but we had a great stay. the hotel was beautiful and clean. the staff were extremely friendly. we will stay again when visiting my son at millikin!!

It looked pretty when you walked in but went downhill after that. No hot water in the room, had to let it run a half an hour ( each time) just to take a shower. The beds were very lumpy. There was hair and dust on the light bulbs in the room. The pool was slimy and not properly maintained. The breakfast was very expensive and even though we were the […] only one in the dining room it took forever to receive our food. Any attraction or restaurant is at the least 10-15 mins away. I was very disappointed by my stay and feel that they should have paid us to stay there. Devamı

A great place to take our dogs while visiting family, no problems, older hotels a bit worn out but met our needs. I don't go to a hotel other then a place to sleep, and have a decent breakfast.

The outside of the hotel was filthy, trash around. The tennis courts/basketball court - I guess it was - was overgrown with weeds. The inside was great - outside was filthy.

The lobby is the only area of this hotel that is being maintained. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls and the carpet was bubbled up off the floor in our room. It also had a damp feel to it. The outside grounds could have been beautiful but no one is maintaining them. The weeds were overtaking the place and there were beer cans and towels laying […] around outside. Good hotel and accomodating staff. Elevators could use some remodeling, new carpet, new panels.

The beds were lumpy, and offered no support. The pillows were lumpy and way too thick. The air conditioner was loud, but we had to use it because the window had no screen.

We have stayed here before and they have remodeled the lobby, sports bar and breakfast area but while doing so have neglected other areas. Our room was fine but the pool area was terrible. There were cigarette butts all over the floor (keep in mind this area is non-smoking), the bottom of the pool looked like it was covered in a layer of dirt and the […] area wasn't opened by the time posted. The overwhelming smell of chlorine drifted all of the way down the hallways and remained on our hands throughout the majority of the day after repeated washings. Upon checkout, we asked to speak with a manager just to mention the condition we found the pool area in that morning but were told neither of the managers on duty were available. Devamı

I stayed here twice, booked thru hotels.com. Both times, they put me in the smallest room at the back of the hotel. This place is a bit run down and free continental breakfast.

I was there for a conference. Clean comfortable room. Nicely remodeled common areas. Handled relatively large conference well including all meals.

The room was on the complete opposite side of the hotel when it was empty. Our bathroom floor was dirty. I went to enjoy the sauna/steam room and left after several minutes when I saw that the floor looked like it had not been cleaned in several months including the carpets, the walls, and the windows. The pool felt like it had 3 times the amount of […] cholorine in it and after looking at the bottom of the pool I could see why. It looked as if the pool had not been cleaned in several days/weeks. The fitness equipment needed maintenance. I was not pleased overall with the hotel outside of the reception area. Devamı

We picked this hotel so we could bring our dogs with us for a short stay over Christmas. Room was clean no yucky smells...the convention center was almost empty because of the holiday and it was snowing like crazy...we were woke up by snowplowing otherwise it was quiet at night. there was a , flat non refundable fee for our dogs. I assume for cleaning. […] Like I said the room was spotless when we got there...a little old and worn but clean. Devamı

Recent renovations to the public areas are lovely. The lobby etc were tastefully done. The pool and exercise areas were nice. The breakfast buffet was very nicely presented and tasted better than some other hotel buffets we have been to. The other areas of the hotel, however, are another story. The hallway to our room smelled very stale and unpleasant. […] Our room was very small and dated (although very clean and nicely stocked with towels etc). Room was small and the bathrooms deffinitely needed work. We went to the pool area to relax in the hot tub and it was luke warm not even close to the normal tempature. The jets of the hot tub were coming out of the water like a fountain so you were constantly splashed in the face and eyes. Wasn't relaxing at all. Hotel is close to Millikin University. Good place to stay if you have business or children at the school. Large heated pool and hot tub. Excellent service. Refrigerator in room did not work. Called front desk, had new refrigerator in less than 1/2 hour. There is a restaraunt on site. There are no other restaraunts/fast food near hotel. Only complaint, […] queen size bed with only two flat feather type pillows. No other pillows in room. As a two pillow person with my spouse, this made for an uncomfotable night sleep. I probably could have called front desk for more pillows. However, we had come back to the room late and I thought I would rough it. Devamı

Conveniently located to Millikin University. Quick exit off interstate. Gas station directly across the street. Fabulous breakfast buffet was free with the room.

Everything was first rate! The room was nice, clean, and we got free breakfast coupons and the breakfast was fantastic! For Millikin parents, this is definitely real competition for the hotels up in Forsythe. You save time, it's MUCH closer to campus and with breakfast coupons, a real deal.

No free breakfast here as told, dirty hallways and room, rude staff and nasty smells

Hotel was clean and service was excellent. All public rooms such as ballroom, restaurant, small conference rooms, dome room and restrooms were modern and clean. Assigned sleeping room was a disapointment. It was musty, AC unit was noisy and did not keep up with heat load and springs were felt through the mattress. Mixed feelings. It looks like they are trying to keep things up, generally ok. Had to change rooms because of a noisy ice machine just outside the door. Started up the heater, stinky at first and sounded like a semi truck idling next to the window.

Our mattress was as hard as a brick and the pillows were way past time to replace. The room was musty. If you have business in downtown Decatur, this is a convenient location, but not too far away there are newer and cheaper hotels. They don't have a free breakfast.

They have a large breckfast at the hotel. We assumed it was complimentary. It did not state a price anywhere. We saw someone paying at the cash register, so we asked if there was a charge. It was about $9.00. It is a full breakfast but was misleading.

Exceptionally clean room -very comfortable. New restaurant offered excellent selections for breakfast, lunch & supper. Hotel is being remodeled and updated. Staff was very helpful. Will stay there again.

Should be an awesome hotel when the renovation is over. Has lots to offer.

The hotel was fine compared to what we paid and close to Millikin Univerity, even though you still need a car of course. It is not perfect but good enough for a couple of nights.
