Best Western Plus Chicago Hillside - Hillside

The traffic sounds from the highway and delivery trucks backing up were quite loud from 3 am on. Next time, I won't stay near a highway. Service and accommodations were great but my main goal was to get some sleep after sightseeing.

I've stayed at this hotel 3-4 times before, when visiting my father in a nursing home in Wheaton and friends in Oak Park. It's usually good, and I would usually recommend it, but this trip we had a cleanliness problem. On arrival, there was a long wait to check in. We were put in a 3rd floor room, and the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke (but I think […] all the rooms were non-smoking rooms). The first room we were assigned had unemptied (gross) trash cans out in the middle of the floor. We returned to the desk to complain and we were put in another room, which looked fine, but later in the evening, I found two dirty washcloths hiding in the shower curtain that had gone unnoticed. I let the desk know. Overall, this time, I was unimpressed. I might stay here again, but I will inspect my room thoroughly before accepting it next time. Devamı

I enjoyed my stay. However, as a senior citizen I could appreciate having non skid strips installed in the bath tub to prevent falls.

Great shuttle service!

Convenient to highway, lots of places to shop or eat nearby. All was good.

Great hotel for the money!! Close to everything. Nice comfy beds with lots of pillows. Husband liked the shower head and everything was really clean.

Excellent for the room price. Spacious and clean room.

I chose this hotel with two main reasons in mind: free parking and the not-so-far location to McCormick Place, where I attended the Automation Fair. Everything in the hotel was as expected - nice stay for an affordable price.

Our overall stay at the Best Western Hillside near Chicago was pretty great! We were lucky to find a great deal on the room and the location is wonderful, next to a convenient shopping center! Our only concern was a leak we had in our room from the radiator. Little did I know, their was a leak and the carpet which my bags were on top of was soaking […] wet causing some soiled laundry. But to top everything off, the free 24-7 shuttle the hotel offers came MOST helpful to us! Most definitely saved us money from renting a car or getting taxi cabs. Took us right to the subway/ trains which took us right into Chicago. The free shuttle really made our short stay in IL so much easier and hassle free! I recommend this hotel. Devamı

The staff were courteous and overly accommodating. The rooms were clean and quite comfortable. I plan to stay here again when I visit Chicago. Easy, quick drive to downtown and surrounding areas.

Just needed basic, no frills hotel for last minute trip, and this filled the bill. Polite staff. Room was clean, with handy fridge and microwave, but air unit was a little loud. Hotel offered room service and $10/pp breakfast and dinner buffets that we didn't get to enjoy, but I've heard good things about. Standard hotel room nothing special about it but the bed was very comfortable. Was a little far out of the city and the traffic heading into downtown was horrible. Took a short taxi ride, for about 10 bucks and took the CTA train into the city. We definitely had to go through an area that was a little shady to get into the city. The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is right across from a target and shopping center with options for food. It is not far from downtown Chicago in mileage, however having traffic almost all the time, consider this in your choice of venue. Frank Lloyd Wright home/studio and houses are not far at all so it made it worth our while to stay here.

Courteous staff and the front desk staff was very helpful with directions to our destinations in Chicago. Room was very comfortable and peaceful, location worked well for my team of disabled athletes.

I don't have any complaints about the hotel. The shuttle took us straight to the train station and said they would pick us up whenever we got done. When we did call to be picked up around one in the morning, both shuttles were out and we had to take a cab.

We were in the Hillside area for 2 nights for a family reunion. This hotel was fine as a comfortable place to sleep. I recommend taking ear plugs (which I always do) just to be sure you can have some quiet while you sleep, as this is a convention hotel, and some folks down the hall were a little loud. I was satisfied for the price.

For the price we got, it was worth it. Although the restroom door lock didn't work but it's not a biggie for us. So far no complaints here. Location is one of it's best asset.

when i asked the front desk is there any where i can do Bungee Jumping, they told me I need search by myself !

It was a nice hotel. Accomodations were good. It was extremely noisy from all the traffic on the interstate.

The hotel was conveniently located, just off the interstate. The room was clean and the beds comfortable.

I really liked the hotel and the staff. The breakfast should be included in the stay but other than that everything was great.

The hotel is a little out of the way but it is worth the money I paid which was not very much compare to many other hotels in the area. Very clean, friendly staff, full service restaurant. I enjoyed my stay and will continue to go back.

Very clean, very nice room, although aircon was a little loud. Easy shuttle access to downtown, though they did make me wait at the station once for 30 minutes even though it's only a five minute ride. Didn't try the restaurant or bar so can't comment. Good hotel for the price

I visit relatives in the western suburbs (some in the far western suburbs) and friends in the Oak Park area. This hotel is a good location and usually a more moderate price than staying in Oak Park. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. One complaint is that the water level on the toilet was set too high -- it was easy to get wet inadvertently; […] yuck. Devamı

Staff was really nice, clean room, lots of towels.

Everything was great about this hotel, except that there was A LOT of people there (family reunion) so it was quite noisy. Other than our room having only ONE mirror, i was overall satisfied with this hotel and it's service.

We stayed 3 nights at the Hillside Best Western. We were pleasantly surprised to find our room newly remodeled and very comfortable. It was a great deal for the price and very convenient to 290 and 294 and the Blue Line. Staff was friendly and helpful. Common areas were a little worn and outdated. But the room was fine. The restaurant was not open that evening as the carpet was being cleaned, so we had to eat in the bar. Not enough staff in the bar and the barmaid thought that just because she was in charge of the bar, she was in charge of the world. She told one customer, "this is my program, you need to get with it." when he complained that she would not let him […] tell her what he wanted, because she kept interrupting and finishing his sentences. We found that the Best Western was clean and quiet, and it did have comfortable beds. We would stay there again.

This was a great hotel :) We Loved everything about it . I t was very clean everyone was friendly and polite.We would reccomend this hotel for a nice stay. I will be using them again for the price the service was excellent.and it was very affordable The Breakfast was good. Our stay was just so pleasant.

Urine was found around the bottom of the toilet upon checking in the room , I think this is very nasty and very unprofessional , to live up to the name of the hotel is a most. It was just plain nasty !

the room was clean but the fan on the air made a horrible noise all night. not a good sleep. we checked in late so i did not request another room. Sam the driver to the airport was wonderful and very helpful.
